Honestly the worst I've cream I've ever had. The soft serve tasted more like custard than ice cream. It was pithy, weirdly warm, and intensely creamy (in a bad way). I sampled the regular ice cream and it was fine, but I could've gotten ice cream just as good if not better from the supermarket. Nothing special. The portions were gigantic which is about all I can say. The workers were nice and very fast, they seemed to have a handle on things so that was good. The best ice cream place in the neighborhood. It's always packed. We always wait in line (but moves fast) everytime we visit. It's just perry's with awesome selections of flavors to choose from that you don't usually see in your local grocery stores. They also sell sundaes, banana split, shakes, floats, coolers. Huge portions and inexpensive. I had the small cup size and Bf got the large in a cone, but ended up asking for a cup (wasn't expecting that! LOL!) they gave you so much ice cream. They take cash only. So if you don't have any, ATM is available inside. Great customer service. Pup cups are available for your fur babies and help support the SPCA. It's only Perry's ice cream, nothing is fancy about it. So I can sort of understand why people say De Dee's is overrated. Especially, since it's not even homemade ice cream. But here is why, you should still come here and enjoy yourself. The choices of ice cream they have available is enormous. Depending on what area you are from, you will not have all the flavors available at your local grocery store. De Dee's has flavors I never knew about. Another great reason to come here is the amount of ice cream they give you so much ice cream. If I were to compare it to another shop, my small strawberry cheesecake in a waffle cone (at De Dee's) would be considered a medium/large anywhere else. Well worth the trip here. read more

OMG what a deal! 4 giant scoops for $5.50! AND we get to pick 4 different flavors! Service is fast. Staff is super friendly. And ice cream was delicious. And a ton of flavors to choose from. My good friend said we HAD to go here for ice cream when we were on vacation and we made it! John loves ice cream- so it was a no brainer. The place was PACKED, like, circle the building twice to snag a parking spot, line out the door busy! And they have a decent size parking lot too- on a little corner, this spot is a red hot, local flavor, ice cream shop. Cash only- they send staff out to go through the line for easy orders, like John's, to go grab a single cone and return to the customer, collect the cash and return with change. Easy peesy- honestly I was shocked how quickly we were in and out of the line! John got one of my favorites- mint chocolate chip and yes it was green ice cream, a requirement for good mint chocolate chip ice cream! In a waffle cone too- which was delicious! I only had a couple licks and a couple pieces of waffle cone. My friend told us to only order a small because good gracious- the servings are HUGE! Happy John makes for a happy me. But, the only downfall is that parking is always an issue, the lot is in such a bad spot, traffic is always bad, and it's difficult to get in and out of the lot.
