Some reviewers noted fake smiles, and poor service. Well, I'm going to say something "fare". Paris is a big city. There's plenty rudeness everywhere I go on the planet, from NYC to Roma and others in between. There are always unpleasant places. But in the middle of the not so friendly service, you must give the credit for the food itself. I was in Paris for 10 days (September 2017), and 6 days I visited this boulangerie. Almost every other day I picked up daily fresh croissant, salad, and sandwiches. I was greeted just like other native/local customers. Service was quick and easy. Sometimes I sat in the back of the shop (free chairs and tables). I communicated with my basic French and they did with their basic English. We both got what we want. Yes, I will go back next time. Price in this shop just like pricy anywhere in Paris. But the food is clean and the sandwiches melted in my mouth. In Les Halles area, I like this place the most. read more
