My husband and I took our daughter and niece this past weekend to pick out some fun items for the weekend. They found plenty of fun items - from little trinkets, to skin care, to candy! This location had a whole Toy Story section in anticipation for the new movie coming out soon. Plus a Love Island (new season next week) section, even a K-Pop Demon Hunters section and some graduation items. Overall, the store was organized and clean. Staff were non existent - they were just chatting away to each other when we were checking out. While I know the name is Five Below, there are a lot of items that are over $5. I always end up spending way more than I plan on each time I visit, but I will give them credit for having different items that you can't normally buy in other stores.

Marshall's on Howe -- The Shoe Hunt Was REAL…read more I stopped by Marshall's on Howe today on a mission: find my boys some shoes! Especially with my little guy's birthday coming up, I'm in full-on "let me see what hidden gems Marshall's got tucked away" mode. And honestly... Marshall's was NOT playing today. They had some DOPE shoes in there! I'm talking pairs where I'm standing there thinking, "Okayyy Marshall's, I see y'all!" The selection had some legit heat for the kids. BUT... and this is where Marshall's hurt my feelings. THE. SIZES. Why is it that every time you find the pair that actually looks good, they have every size known to mankind EXCEPT the size you need?! I'm digging through the racks like I'm on a treasure hunt, checking boxes, checking labels, moving shoes around like somebody might've magically slipped my son's size underneath there. Nope. My man's size said "I'm on vacation." Still, that's kinda the Marshall's experience. You never really know what you're going to find, and that's honestly part of the fun. You can walk in looking for one thing and walk out with something completely different because you found a random deal you weren't even looking for. I didn't leave with the shoes today, but I definitely walked away knowing there are some hidden gems in there. So the hunt continues! I'll probably be back again soon because my boys apparently have decided their feet need to grow faster than Marshall's can restock. We didn't find either unfortunately, but they did have a lot of cool items like SF Niners shoes and even Hellfire Club shoes (IYKYK). We did end up finding some cute Wicked slippers, a purple whale mirror and some travel stuff - all for under $40! I also found this super cute black skull Betsy Johnson purse that I now regret not buying. They already had their Valentine's Day items out too! The store was organized and staff were friendly enough. This location isn't my favorite, but it's still worth checking out!

This location is actually a lot cleaner and more organized than other locations which was nice! It is located off of Marconi Ave in the same shopping center as Trader Joe's and Five Below. They had a ton of wrapping paper and lots of great items for stocking stuffers and White Elephant gifts. I love finding random items that I never knew I needed! I bought around 8 items for under $60 so it was definitely a good deal! Staff were friendly and the check out line moved quickly!

Me and my poor eyes don't have to squint to read the fine print or even make use of my glasses. There's the odd item on the floor left behind by uncaring or reckless customers...especially on busy days, so a bit of care should be exercised when walking the aisles. The place does get crowded, especially on the weekends. Parking feels a bit limited, but of course, a public lot is never under the store's control. The price is reasonable. And the staff, if on hand, are very helpful...trying to be cheerful on crowded, busy days. There's a lot to see, so be prepared to spend an hour or more during your visit. Not a bad place to spend your time...and money.

Lots is items have missing sizes that would have to be ordered online. When there is a missing size, staff would help look online and order for you. The quality of items are a little inconsistent. The parking is easy as they have a shared lot with other businesses. I haven't had to use the bathroom while I was there but I'm sure they have them, I am not sure if they are open to the public though. There were also lots of little gifts too, such as nice Christmas mugs and socks. Great for stocking stuffers. Service was good as the cashier was quick, lines moved quickly, usually only needing to open one line. As for value, well everything is $1.25 now so not technically a dollar at Dollar Tree anymore, but still pretty good deals if you look carefully. There were also lots of $3-5 items. Overall, this place has an extensive collection of all kinds of items and you'll likely find what you're looking for!
