I was a huge fan of the agua fresca section--so many fresh, vibrant flavors--and the fruit station where they cut up fruit right in front of you. Freshness and service are clearly a priority here, and it shows. Everything felt high-quality and thoughtfully prepared. What really impressed me was the convenience: you can pick up fresh seafood, quality meats, ready-to-eat tacos, hot tamales, and still knock out your regular grocery shopping all in one place. It's honestly the kind of market that becomes a one-stop destination. I truly wish we had Vallarta stores in Stockton because they would absolutely flourish there. That's definitely an advantage for the business and not the customers. Second, PRICING is not competitive with other thrift/second-hand stores. If anything, you might as well pay the extra to get it brand new since their pricing is expensive. The women's tops were all the same price! $5.79 for any top --- short-sleeve, long-sleeve, tank tops, sweaters, cardigans. ONE PRICE. The dresses were two prices - $6.19 & $5.79 I like to go through the racks and find the deals, but knowing that everything was about 6 dollars. It took the fun out of thrifting & I walked out of the door without purchasing which is definitely a rarity for me.
