However, when I visited last night, it felt more like a general retail store than a home furnishings store. There were a lot of cleaning supplies, shampoos, disposable plates, and other household products, but the selection of bedding sets, curtains, and bathroom mats seemed very limited. Several shelves were empty, and I wasn't able to find any curtains that I liked. Overall, it feels like they've shifted their focus away from home décor, which was disappointing.

He suggested I come back and get scheduled with one of their designers, and honestly... thank God. Why didn't I come here sooner? Hobby Lobby is now one of my favorite store to shop at. They had…read morespring items on sale for 50 percent off like plates, stainless steel and glass water bottles, planters, wall decor, wind chimes, toys, and so much more. My mouth dropped wide opened when I saw really good stuff on sale. They even had plain colored t-shirts for $3.25 each. My friends and I spent about an hour roaming around the store. So much to see with lots of options also for crafts. We spotted a section for clearance items where my friend bought plastic water bottles for $1.25 set of 3. So he bought two sets for $2.50. Such a great deal. We were all satisfied with what we bought at amazing prices. Can't wait to go back!

A large majority of the items looked like complete trash. Many, MANY things scratched and scuffed up. I don't want to decorate with crappy looking decorations. A couple items were even ripped (see America sign photo). What the heck!? Who in their right mind would think it's ok to stock that on the shelves? I contemplated taking these items to someone but it would have likely filled the bulk of the cart. I wish I would have taken more pictures but you can see how bad just the few were that I took. Do better, Hobby Lobby. I really hope management sees this.

This shop has a very cool vibe. It looks small from the outside, but it's a long store. It feels…read morelike it must have been a house at one time with all the separated, small rooms. It even has an outdoor area that could have been a backyard. When I first walked in, it felt like I was stepping back into the '70's. A lot of brown and orange hues. Once you pass the front counter on your left, you feel like you're stepping into someone's living room. There's a couch, coffee table, dial television set, and the record player is blasting '70's music from their collection of vinyl. The first room on the left sells clothes, plants, etc. The second small room next to it has a large picture of KISS plastered on the walls, between the selection of boots and jackets. If you keep walking towards the back, there's a room to your right where the record player is. After exiting that room, you walk into the main room and a large selection of vinyl for sale near the back. They sell used and new merchandise. Everything from used clothes to new jewelry, paintings, artwork, and everything in between. Like I said, there's a large outdoor patio where they sell patio furniture, pots, plants and other outdoor decoration. There is really a lot to take in, and everything is affordable. I saw something I liked that cost $9.50, but I asked myself where I was going to put it. The gal at the front counter was friendly. They take Apple Pay. Located on Orange Avenue, in the Eastern section of Long Beach California, this business is a little bit off of the beaten path. It's actually a truly unique neighborhood. Though it's basically a residential area, there's a number of unique businesses right around Goods on Orange.
