Madeline greeted me right away and was so friendly and personable. I was there when they opened, so they took my car in right away. She only recommended services that really needed to be completed like a transmission flush and radiator flush, both of which are way overdue. They showed me the dirty oil (our car uses oil, always has and needs engine flushes quite often). Afterward, I got to see the stick showing the oil full and clean. They also replaced a brake light, checked and topped up the fluids and made the air pressure equal in all tires. The waiting room is nice with coffee and a tv. I brought my own coffee,but would suggest they have cream available for the coffee, or I wouldn't partake. Another woman there didn't have any for the same reason. I really appreciated being able to know the total up front before they started on anything and no pressure about things that need to be done in the future. They also charge half what Mr. Lube was asking for the engine flush. The mechanics were super fast and Madeline offered such excellent customer service. An honest and friendly place to have your maintenance performed. Will be back later in the month to have the other two services performed.

Even though they were closed, an employee named Terry ran out and over a street to my car and helped us put on a spare even after his shift was over. He gave us advice about the car and made sure we were safe once we left. After we came back the next day got our tire replaced within 1 hour. The staff are some of the nicest people you can meet and the service is fast and well done. Great place with great people doing great things.

Today I went for my winter tire change - left it for the day as they asked and got there at 5 only to be told it hasn't been done. I voiced my disappointment and the manager was good - got the car in right away. 5 minutes later, I am told they can't switch the tires because two of the winters have the wear bar showing...upset, I left vowing not to buy my 4th set of tires there. It made me wonder why I wasn't made aware of this when they switched the tires out in the spring...I was told they cannot put those tires on because they won't pass a safety,....why were they given back to me in the spring? Regardless, that is my last oil change, tire purchase, and flush I will have done at Economy Lube. I know they are busy and will not miss my business - it does give me satisfaction to give my money to another garage.

When I arrived they instantly insisted that I get a number of other services totaling over $400.00 including a transmission flush, stating that my car would "break down on the road soon" if I didn't have this work done. Being naive and not all that knowledgeable about cars at the time I took their word at face value and agreed to the work even though it was a lot of money for me. The worst part is I had the mechanic at Canadian Tire look at my car a few days later because I was skeptical the work actually got done because of how quick my car was ready and sure enough the transmission flush wasn't even done even though I had been charged for it. I had to go through the Better Business Bureau to get a refund and even then only half my money was refunded. I have since learned that high pressure sales tactics are common practice there. Everyone please avoid this place at all costs - they are just a bunch of criminals and scammers!

We called 4 tire shops to see if…read morewe could get a quick appointment as we didn't want to delay our trip...all the other tire shops were booked up and couldn't fit us in until later in the afternoon. We then called Midas on Hespeler in Cambridge, they were able to take us in right away, even though they were also busy. They were able to order a new tire have it delivered and put onto our car within 1 hour and a half!! They are friendly, accommodating and have incredible customer service. Don't look any further...drive to Midas 402 Hespeler Road. Amazing!
