So we rented a nice car for several hours and the service was excellent. The car arrived well before we needed to leave, as instructed. The driver was extremely professional and made sure we were comfortable at all times. The drive to DC was extremely smooth, and during our photoshoot in the Capitol Hill area, the driver did a great job of staying near us and was always ready to drive to a different location at a moment's notice. At the end of our photoshoot, the driver took us home safe and also took our photographer home without a hitch. The price was very reasonable as well. Before the day of the photoshoot, they were very responsive to email inquiries, always providing a response within minutes. I have used DC Livery for about 6 or 7 years for both personal and business transportation to all 3 DC area airports. I have also used their hourly service for various things around town and have never been disappointed. There have been many times I contacted them for last minute service and have never been disappointed. They maintain your credit card on file if you wish and you can e-mail or visit their website and reserve service. At one point when i traveled often, I would always request they send me the drivers name and cell so I could call if anything in my plans changed like flight delays (which rarely happen :-) ). Their cars are standard i guess, but I have used their executive car, Navigator (needed space for a 6 party lunch meeting), S Series and their Lexus 600 HL. The 600HL was great. I used that car once for dinner because I made a very last minute request to accomodate a dinner meeting. I never use stretch cars, but I can only assume from my experience with their executive cars, they are equally as nice. The representatives that take my calls are great and are always very accomodating. Maybe once they could not reserve a car for me, but I honestly cannot remember. If you need a local car service, wait; they actually made a referral once when I was outside of the area. I called and told them which city I was visiting to see if they could recommend someone and they made the recommendation and WOW!!! it was a great recommendation. Now back to what I was saying... They are the best service I have experienced in DC and I use them everytime I travel or just do not want to drive to an event. And I find their fees are similar to other services in the area. My recommendation, call them before your next lunch or dinner date and schedule a car and enjoy a nice ride around the city and you too will have found a great service. Ask them to pick my wife up at Dulles at 1:00 AM. Their driver was there waiting for her outside of Starbucks with a sign with her name on it. Could not ask for more. My wife had a bad tooth ache and driver even offered medical advice. He drove the car up the driveway and carried her luggage to the front door. DC Livery is absolutely incredible! Starting from the onset of reserving the transportation, to the pick up and drop off, has been nothing short of stellar. I can not recommend them enough. We reserved a limo for brewery tasting all the way out to Manassas. Eco, our chauffeur, was a true gentleman. He was polite and we all felt safe, knowing that he was driving. I found myself in need of transportation to and from Reagan National Airport for vacation. I had a terrible experience with SuperShuttle last year and vowed never to use that service again so after doing a bit of research I discovered DC Livery and could not have been happier. I requested a 4am pickup for departure, Mr. Yousuf arrived early and was very professional and courteous. Upon return I was able to call Mr. Ali on his cell phone to retrieve us at the arrivals area after picking up our luggage from baggage claim. DC Livery provided email confirmations and alerts which took the worry out of the process and again I could not have been happier with their service. Excellent in every way! They monitored my flight so that when it was delayed, I received a reply right away to my email not to worry. I then got a message confirming my driver was at the airport followed by a phone call. My driver was professional and impeccably dressed. The car was spacious with a bottle of water and some candies. I got married in Haymarket, VA (out near Dulles) and that was outside of Uber's service area, so I booked DC Livery to drive me and my new wife home from the wedding. The car was a large black SUV, and it arrived 15 minutes early. I received email alerts when the vehicle arrived, but the driver was happy to wait for the reception to end. My address had actually changed between when I booked the ride and when the wedding happened, and the driver was willing to drive me to my new address (about 10 minutes further away) without any extra charge. Driver used GPS to find the shortest way there. DC Livery was professional in every way, booking was easy, the experience itself was nice. There was a limited selection of mints and bottled water in the car as well. Minus one star because it is a bit pricey compared to ride sharing services, but again with a larger service area. read more

This was my first time booking a private car. I had a wonderful experience booking with this service. I went from Bethesda to Pennsylvania and back with four people in their luxury SUV. The car was very clean and in excellent condition. The driver was very friendly and provided an excellent experience to all of my guests.
