I just moved to Dixon. Obviously I was checking into internet. My new neighbor told me he had DC computers and that the tower was right close by, he had good service. So I called and spoke with Cliff. Cliff was very nice, he told me I would be happy with the unlimited service and it would cost me $50 per month. I told him yay, I would like to start service as my 92 year old mom likes to play spider solitaire. He laughed and said great, service is unlimited so she can play all day. .He made an appointment for me for installation and when I told him my neighbor recommended him, he told me he would give the neighbor one month free. Wow i thought, such nice people in Dixon. Needless to say, I was in shock when today i received a bill in the amount of $407.48. No explanation what the bill is for. None. Just an invoice without any breakdown of charges. I called and asked for Cliff about the bill. When I questioned the bill, he said he explained the charges up front which is not true. He never mentioned any installation charges or any other charges he may have included in this bill. And since the invoice isn't broken down, I still don't know what they are for. He even tried to imply I'm not smart enough to understand the charges. I'm a business woman, trust me, if he said anything about charges like that, I wouldn't ever tell him to start service. Xfinity and other providers rent their equipment to clients. I presume he is charging for equipment as well, but not sure as he never explained nor does the invoice. Basically I do not know what these charges are for, so not sure what I would be paying for. When i told Cliff he never explained these charges, he told me he didn't need a customer as me and that he will shut my service off and hung up on me. I couldn't believe how rude he was. Within 15 minutes my service was shut off. If you are thinking about doing business with DC computers, be careful. They use deceptive practices and count on you paying large sums of money weeks later since everything is up and running. Luckily they aren't the only internet service available so we are getting new service without having to have to pay fees that were never explained to begin with. I strongly recommend you walk away from this business as their deceptive practices could cost you a small fortune read more

The tech that installed our service was very nice. We were told that if we spent $180 extra that we would have internet out by our pool, which is about 100 yards from our house, that did not work, they now are telling us that for another $180 that we should have internet out at the pool, If they had told us that there was a high chance the first time that we would not have internet we would not have spent the extra. I feel this was very poor service on their part and they should have tried to make it right. read more
