X-Team isn't your typical gym. The group fitness classes are different everyday and it's truly a team atmosphere. You have both indoor and outdoor options as well as yoga and group runs. Because the workouts change everyday, it never gets boring or predictable. You also end up hitting every muscle group without having to think about what to do next. Plus it's in a shopping plaza with a ton of free parking. I was able to get in my regular Saturday workout, with the same level of great coaching I am used to. Monday, Wednesday, Friday are cardio, Tuesday, Thursday, Sunday are strength, and Saturday is a 1 hour hybrid workout. There's so much diversity in the workouts you never get bored. My daughter invited me as a guest to try city row class, and it was so worth it. The guy at the counter was really nice and helpful giving us the rundown on what to expect, and was kind enough to give us instructions how to use the machine. We waited for our class to start, and the instructor was late but a regular student was there, and shared with us he had taken over 300 row classes there and would sit in for her until she got there. He did such a great job I would never have known he wasn't the regular teacher. The class was broken up into small increments, a warm up to get your heart pumping, and then different increments of faster and slower rowing sets. Note: they are running a special where you get 3 classes free to try it out (have to be used within 7 days of each other) I highly advise everyone to give them a chance, you will love it.

The yoga is just amazing because now it stretches everything out and you get a cool down. It's such an all-around exercise and very balanced. One of the other things I really like about this is even though you're in a class, you workout at your pace and at your endurance level. You're not trying to keep up with the class you're trying to work your own body at your pace. Excellent work out! I highly recommend this to everyone!!
