    a can of liquid death

Stumbled upon this chill spot on a Thursday night. They had a good selection of drinks and a good crowd. It looked like they were getting ready for a live performance but I didn't stick around long enough for that. The bartender/beer tender was helpful and friendly, there was ample seating at the bar, on a long couch and at tables. The ambiance was chill and had a lot of the more artsy types (lots of beanies) but this was much more my type of crowd over the other local P-town spots. Good place to hang out with friends or grab a a drink solo.

On 2/10 around 12:30 ish a painting fell on me. I was sitting along the wall and it fell from the wall. The workers saw and heard but didn't attend me. I yelled because of the pain. The guard came to see what happened but just took the painting. No one asked if I was ok or offered me ice to put on my injury. I immediately felt my thigh swell up. I had an about 5 finger wide bruise from the painting and now have a permanent dent and bruise. So bad customer service.

All the craft beer selections are fucking awesome. They have a little of everything for everyone. Not sure if they have food but one thing for sure is that the parking sucks. There's a 2 hour limit and you'll be ticketed if you stay longer than that. Wish I could have tried more beers but didn't want a parking citation. The parking lot is patrolled constantly too, which is lame.

The bottomless mimosas ($29.99) sound like a great deal, but just know how they run it. There's a 90-minute minimum, and they don't bring a bottle to the table--you get one mimosa at a time, and you have to finish it before they'll bring another. The first one I got tasted like straight orange juice barely any champagne. I sent it back and to their credit, they remade it much better They mentioned they control pours to keep the environment in check, which I understand--but if you're expecting free-pour vibes, that's not the case here. Food-wise: French toast & breakfast potatoes were really good However the Chilaquiles were super dry and lacked flavor--wouldn't recommend Burger & fries were decent, but nothing special As for drink pricing, it does lean a bit on the higher side. bucket of 5 beers was around $42, $15 for a Tito's vodka shot, and even a basic Jack and Coke came out to about $18 with tip, which felt a little steep for the area. the best deal was definitely the green tea shots at only $9 I will say, our waitress Priscilla was great. She had a lot of tables and seemed a bit overwhelmed, but she still made an effort to check on us and kept my mimosas coming pretty promptly. I didn't have to wait long at all between refills, which I appreciated. Since we went for a special event, the DJs were great and really kept the energy up the whole time Parking was easy. It did say there was a $2 fee, but when we printed the ticket, we weren't charged--so it might be free, but I'd still double-check at the kiosk just in case. Overall: decent spot for the vibe, music, and brunch outing, but just be prepared for controlled drinks and slightly higher prices.

I was so excited to try Homage as I've heard great things about this brewery! When I arrived they only had a few beers as most of their kegs kicked over the weekend. I'll definitely go back and give it a second chance as most of the beers they had weren't my style. The service was great, the vibe was vibing, a cute little place for a date night, or pregame before going to a concert or the paradox or something. They play vinyls as well which adds to the hipster atmosphere:) Hope yall get a chance to try it! Enjoy fellow yelpers!

We had the Thai fighter/X wings which had a hint of sweetness & just the right level of heat. Those might be my new favorites. The onion rings are beer battered and flavorful & the burger we had was juicy & delicious. We also ordered a flight of a few different beers - red ales, brown ales, & a couple of stouts. They were all 4 oz pours so we got a nice sampling & found a couple of new winners. Sadly, the fries were the only thing lacking - not that there was anything necessarily wrong with them but while everything else was tasty & fantastic, the fries just seemed to lose their sparkle. Fries aside, though, you really can't go wrong with this place.
