The nail technicians were very pleasant and attentive inquiring throughout the process whether we were satisfied with the work being done. The attention to detail is bound not to disappoint- very precise and beautifully completed nails will astound you! Look no further than this salon. The best nail technicians are Haidy and Amy. At that price, I expected professional, respectful service. Unfortunately, the attitude we received throughout our appointment made us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. What upset me the most was that one of the employees assumed we couldn't understand what she was saying. I understood the foreign language she was speaking, and hearing negative comments about customers while they're sitting there is incredibly disrespectful and unprofessional. Customers are paying for a service and should be able to ask for reasonable preferences without being treated like they're a burden. We were paying customers, and we deserved to be treated with kindness and respect. To make matters worse, after our visit, my mother-in-law developed an infection on her toe. While I can't say for certain what caused it, it was very concerning and only added to our negative experience. Overall, between the poor customer service, disrespectful comments, and the health concern afterward, I won't be returning. I hope management takes these issues seriously and improves both the professionalism and cleanliness of the salon so future customers have a better experience.

I give this a five star rating as Lily who I go to there is wonderful. I have been having my nails…read moredone since the 1980's and she is one of the best. You need an appointment most times. My only complaint is the lingering mask mandate at this late date. The governor has lifted it so unsure why it is still being required. Employees having to wear masks for 8-10 hours a day are risking their health as it can lead to bacterial pneumonia. People are vaccinated herd immunity has taken effect and there is no real science behind it in fact the science speaks against it. God bless those in the service industry.

Three years ago, I walked into Marco Nail & Spa as a new resident of Apollo Beach. I didn't have an…read moreappointment because I had recently moved from Ohio, where walk-ins are common. Instead of treating a potential new customer with kindness and simply explaining their policy, I was met with rudeness and made to feel like I wasn't welcome. I left and wrote an honest Google review about my experience. Three years later, I decided to put that experience behind me and give this salon another chance. People and businesses can improve, and I believe in second chances. I made an appointment, expecting to be treated like any other customer. About an hour later, the manager called me and told me she was canceling my appointment because she knew I was the person who had written the negative review three years ago. Those were her words. Rather than welcoming a customer back and proving that the salon had changed, she chose retaliation. That decision says far more about this business than my original review ever could. A professional business values feedback--even when it's negative--and uses it as an opportunity to improve. Refusing service to someone simply because they shared an honest experience years ago shows a lack of professionalism and an unwillingness to accept criticism. Policies are one thing; treating people with respect is another. It is not the appointment policy that concerns me--every business is free to have its own rules. The problem is the attitude toward customers and the decision to blacklist someone for leaving honest feedback. If a business is confident in the quality of its service, it shouldn't be afraid of earning back a dissatisfied customer. I gave Marco Nail & Spa a genuine opportunity to change my opinion. Instead, they confirmed it. Future customers deserve to know that this is how this business chooses to handle criticism.

I've been coming for years and I thought we had a good relationship until I became a number…read more I have making my appts directly with Jonneson weeks in advance we have learned many techniques together over the last 5 years experimenting and he was also learning how to use matte or add different textures and ombré, or marbled dip. The problem I had was He didn't even take the time to talk with me, or ask if he could reschedule me to someone that takes longer and charges me more. For example Jonneson can do a dip set in less than 2 hours even if he gets up to answer every phone call or walk in which on average has been a lot. Anywhere from 6 people to more. He would charge $70-$85 I never said a thing and always waited for him to return and paid whatever to have exactly what I asked for. I didn't appreciate having my appt moved to someone else that cannot do the same work in the same amount of time the day before my appt. In comparison I would pay more with Kim $85-$110 for because she took more time and could do the dip design like Jonneson and she used Gel. Also the last time she didn't paint some of my edges not fully coated and with my natural nails they would crack or peel at the edges. She also took almost 3-1/2 hours to do them. So very different experience and higher cost for lower end product aka gel vs dip and longer time. So unfortunately after so many years of feeling like maybe we had a good customer relationship it was very frustrating to rely on having my nails done here and the quality I was getting with Jonneson to getting a text to go somewhere-else when there wasn't a problem until he created it. The text message said that he wanted to answer the phones more and do more management and not do any more nails. Why was that so difficult to have a conversation with a long-time customer and say look things are getting busier and moving away from doing nails like yours and want to do more basic manicures or stop doing them all together. I followed you from Bliss nails where he started as a technician to Encore where he was promoted to manager. So much for loyalty. I was hoping for communication and not what happened after I wrote a review when my appointment was cancelled on me without notice. Hopefully this doesn't happened to the next person or remember that there is always a chance that when you think you found your mail tech in a instant and without notice you can find yourself out of luck !
