I've been using Dazen Express to mail out packages to Korea for about a decade now. I haven't had a single bad experience. The employees are pretty regular (1 male and 2~3 females in turn) so they recognize the repeated customers. It takes about 4-5 business days for a package to reach the address in Korea. Also, it's a great and safest way to send something from Korea to Dazen Express locations in the US. My family sent a package to Dazen office in Seoul. I have lots of friends in Korea, which means, I'm at Dazen Express sending them stuff at least 3-4 times a month. I come here regularly, and have been coming to Dazen since they were in the Chapman Plaza mall. Dazen offers reasonable rates and my packages get to Korea pretty quickly. (3-5 days) I've probably sent over 50 packages with Dazen and never had an issue. The employees are usually pretty friendly and I try to minimize time by packaging everything and having everything ready when I arrive. There's free parking out in the front. I've been here a lot and never had to fight for parking like I did at Chapman Plaza before they moved here. Just a note, they only ship out on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays so if you're there any other day, your package will be shipped out the next day. ALSO - If you send food or medical items (including toothpaste, floss, etc), it's $5 extra and will take a little longer to arrive!! Make sure you have the "NEW ADDRESS" too! This review pertains to shipping things to Korea only. I haven't shipped anything to anywhere else from here. I've had a few bad experiences shipping packages and mails to Korea via USPS. They usually take ridiculous long, things get lost, and they cost way more. Dazen makes life so much easier. They are quick, things get delivered on time in good condition, and price is just right. And it's so nice that I don't have to write the recipient's address in English, which USPS insists that I do. I bet that could be one of the reasons things get lost. read more

On Saturday's, Dazen closes at 3pm. I went around in 2:30, and the lady working there at the front desk was very impolite and impatient. I understand that there was only thirty minutes left until closing time, but she said "Please hurry. The store closes soon," in a very rude, rushed, and inconsiderate manner. She prioritizes herself and the store instead of the customer. I understand that everyone's trying to be conscious during this public health crisis, but I wore a mask, was following social distancing policies, and was doing everything she asked me to do in a thorough and careful manner, yet her tone, expressions, and gestures were impolite. I advise anyone who needs to go to Dazen to go a good five hours before closing time. read more

RUDE!!! THE LADY THERE DOESNT EVEN KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT HER JOB AND SHE JUST RUDEEEEE. I had to send an iphone($1000) to korea and wanted to get a shipping certificate/insurance. the lady there told me i would get the full price money back if the shipment gets lost/stolen (she said this with an attitude, too), and then few minutes later she changes her words by saying how they only cover $200 and i need to pay $13 if i want the full coverage which was $1000. so i went back and paid the goddamn $13, and they dont even provide a piece of paper as a proof! like no number no barcode anything! anyways about 4 hours later i get a call from that lady and THIS TIME shes saying the $13 i paid only covers $500, and i need to pay 5 more for the full coverage. she suggested me to come back in again and drop that 5 bucks.. like.. are you joking???? i had to remind her that it was their fault and ended up getting the full coverage without paying the extra money, but lemme tell you the lady can be RUDE RUDE RUDE even on the phone. im not even sure if she actually processed it as the full coverage insurance thing. im super offended. i dont think i'd go back to this place ever agian. read more
