My father treated my sister and I to a scalp massage since my mother had already came here with her sisters and enjoyed it. He was able to find a Groupon which was 2 scalp massages for $90. They were very accommodating since I was 30 minutes late due to difficulty finding parking; I would either get to Main Street in bus or give yourself at least 30 minutes to find parking. The facility itself seems pretty clean and the staff was very friendly although they did use a translating app to communicate with us. They give you a robe to change into to keep your top dry and cover you in warm blankets. It would be nice if they played some relaxing music in the background to make the experience even more relaxing. The whole massage is almost an hour. They untangle your hair and give you a dry scalp massage. Then they start wetting your hair with a circular shower head which was very cool. They wash your hair several times and give a scalp massage. They also give a neck massage and shoulder massage. All the products they use smell extremely good and felt great in my hair. At the end of the massage, they dry your hair and leave it somewhat. It would be very cool if they offered a salon service where you could pay an extra fee for them to style your hair so you could leave with very clean hair and styled. I would have also liked if the scalp massage was a little more rough, it was softer than I liked. I would probably try another location for a scalp massage to compare the experiences. read more

Our experience- was able to book 2 days ahead of time for an 11am appt; they texted morning of to confirm; check in w Groupon; guided to your room; remove anything on your face/top half (jewelry, glasses, bra); shoes off; put on a half gown; lie down and close your eyes and hope for the best. Since there's no communication throughout the process (we literally exchanged no words aside from the initial, strip instructions); this is all assumptions/spotty memory on my end: Dry head massage, shampoo, soaped up head massage, conditioner, vertebrae/shoulder massage (was really really good) but it's odd because you're all soaped up and I can't tell if it's conditioner they're rubbing your back lol. Regardless, my tech was an angel unknotting my shoulder. Fancy water show is just that - there's no magic from the crown of water you see everyone advertising. Followed by arm/hand massage, rinse, par-hair dry, some final product in your hair, sit up, final pat down/back shoulder massage voila, 1 hour. Located right in flushing main st where you go up the steps to a small shop where they speak limited English but prices are sooo good for a head spa. I did the holiday head spa where it's $90 for 2 people for an hour and we called to book an appointment in advance. In the room there's only 2 beds and then they start with a dry massage and then wash your hair twice with shampoo while massaging your head and also work on your neck and arms. You change into a strapless kind of gown cause they work on your neck. Honestly very relaxing and they also have a water ring machine that gently sprays water on your head. This spot was really underwhelming compared to the videos I saw on IG and Tiktok. They must've sponsored a lot of people because the scalp cleaning / massage experience is worse than getting a hair wash at an asian hair cut spot. I wouldn't even call this a massage because the lady basically just touched me with no strength whatsoever. The only cool part was the ginger water running down my hair. She also never got water in my ears which is nice. However, I didn't get any face massage / sheet mask like other people mentioned. They are located a block away from the Main Street subway station, so the place was easy to get to. The place is very clean. Annie and Coco were the ones who gave us the massage session. I thought they were very strong doing the massage (you can tell them to do it softer). The session started off with some shoulder and neck massage, then the head massage, face massage, wash hair, then more shoulder and arm massage, and finally back massage and they dry your hair. Really wished to give this place a good review but it wasn't as good as I expected. Came here with my sister and mom and got the 1 hr scalp treatment. We got there 10-15 min early and each room only has space for 2 so my sister and I were in one room and my mom was in another room. We started 10 min before our appointment time but my mom started 10-15 min later because the person had a previous appointment. However, she ended same time as us. She also had short hair so didn't require as much blow dry but was cut 10-15 min short of an hour. The scalp massage was basically a light massage, some gentle shoulder and scalp rubbing. The rest of the "treatment" was basically just a hair wash with some light massage of the shoulders. Was not anything special for any of us and we were quite disappointed. I think the only two positives would be the fact that they blow dry your hair after and they do some massage of the shoulder/arms along with the hair wash. On top of that, after we paid, we were going to give $10 tips each but they woman said the minimum is $15/person for tips (more than 20%). I probably would not come back here again. read more

I came here with my cousin since we wanted to try some scalp treatment and they had the promotion of $90 for 2. We made a reservation a few days in advance, they know limited English but enough to get by. The place is on the 3rd floor so it can be easy to miss it if you are not purposely looking for it. When I gave them my reservation information they looked at us with a very confused look but we didn't had to wait long to get brought into the room. The room look like someone's apt, so the vibe is lacking a little. The service was nice, she massaged my head, neck, shoulders and arms, which I didn't expect. I did tell her if she can put more strength in the massage since I might it harder and she did, I wish there was more massage but it's a scalp treatment. The scalp treatment was ok, they washed and put other things in my hair but I am not sure what it was since they didn't tell me. She did put in a lot of effort in detailing my hair since I have very long and tangled hair. The over all service was nice and for the price it was not bad at all. The only complaint is when she left me and the room completely mid shampooing twice to greet people who just came in, which made me feel weird. We were looking for a scalp masssage treatment and wandered around Flushing Chinatown. Soothe Zen was fully booked, but I recalled seeing several doors advertising the service. The entrance is just a door way with some photos and signs. Dayue is upstairs on the 3rd floor (steep narrow NY steps, but a sturdy handrail. There wasn't anyone at the front. After a short wait, Dina came out. She apologized as they are still new and getting ready for business. She speaks Mandarin and some English and tried to use her phone translation. Very sweet lady and so apologetic. We established our intent and she stated she was the only one avail but if we didn't mind waiting, she would take us one at a time. The 3rd floor is hot/humid, so she quickly put on a fan. The space is shared with an acupuncturist & tatoo/makeup specialists; each with their own rooms. Dina had 2 tables/beds for scalp treatment. She explained what she was doing and showed amazing skills with acupressure. We had 1hr treatments and my sister's headache was gone by the completion. The place is small but the hospitality shown and professionalism of Dina made it worthwhile. You may have to ask for her directly when you contact Dayue as she hasn't made any business cards and uses her own phone for contacts. Looking forward to returning for her wonderful service. Dina is 5 stars all around! Facility itself is "Average" thus 3 stars due to being on the 3rd floor, tight shared quarters (the treatment room itself was typical size), & lack of AC. 4 stars for having revolving fans & clean single restroom. 3 = Avg; 4 is above Avg; & 5 is amazing. I called a day prior to book scalp spa treatment for 3 people. We arrived 10 mins early so that we can change and won't waste any time on our treatments. They do not have a proper waiting area which is fine because they provide us with stools to sit and gave us warm water while we waited. There are 2 rooms for treatments. Each room had 2 spa beds. My sister and her husband were able to get their treatments first. About 10 mins after our appointment time. My room was not ready until 20 mins after our scheduled time. We were not upset just bit if an inconvenience. My scalp treatment was underwhelming. Nothing like the Tik Tok videos I watched and seemed like a very basic hair wash without the deep scratching/cleaning. Before the woman started she asked if I liked it hard or soft and I said hard. She hardly massaged me. It was more like a simple hair wash. I was highly disappointed because I was really looking forward to a relaxing massage with pressure to relieve some stress and tension. I was a bit irritated by the end of the treatment that I didn't even want her to finish blow drying my hair. Even though they started late, they did give me a full hour so that good. My sister said her treatment was very good. Exactly like the reels she been seeing. She got the face, shoulder, scalp massage. Her husband on the other hand had the same review I did of the place. I gave it 2 stars because we were able to make an appointment for 3 a day in advance which is a bit short noticed. My boyfriend made an appointment 2 weeks ago for today at 3:00 PM. We arrived around 3:05 due to traffic and apologized for the tardiness. The lady in the front asked us to take a seat and we could tell the two rooms in the back were already occupied with another couple already waiting in front of us. We sat there until 3:45 and the lady told us it was going to be another 10 minutes. We waited 15 more minutes and I had enough. It was 4:00 now and we wasted our time. Sat there for an hour which is how long the appointment should have lasted. Instead of getting a relaxing head massage, I left disappointed.
