We opted to do the Thai style hair wash since we didn't know what anything entailed. Our sessions began with a simple shampooing. Then, the lady added a tingly, minty shampoo? and went INNN on my shoulders, neck area, and arms. Finally, they blew dried our hair and gave us a mini back massage to conclude everything. It is definitely a mom-and-pop vibe here so don't expect anything fancy. Came on a Monday evening with my bestie. It was a bit far from the train station and sort of hidden. We both use the restroom and then they did our scalp analysis. That was dope. My scalp showed hair dye and oil build up. I had recently dyed my hair. This place is def not fancy and gets crowded. Glad we had a reservation. They took us in right away but we were separated which i didn't enjoy. Also, everything is only covered with curtains so it's not private and u can hear people talking. I Wish they would have kept us next to each other. The experience was lovely and i felt relaxed. My scalp felt clean and so did my hair. The woman that took care of me was nice but could not understand me for anything, someone else had to translate no big deal. Afterwards, they showed the scalp analysis again and how clean the scalp was. They do a quick dry only when they are busy so my hair was frizzy but def didn't mind. I brought a hat just in case. It was easy to text Summer via phone number to make an appointment. Very friendly! When I arrived for my appointment, they first examined my scalp with a high def camera! Super cool to see the condition of my scalp up close. After identifying my scalp was oily, Summer recommended the Herbal Chinese Tea Treatment. This was $65 for a 60 minute massage session. Cash only! Not only was my scalp treated, but my ENTIRE UPPER BODY was given a massage! My arms, shoulders, upper back, and neck! I was in pure bliss. The entire session was much more high tech and elaborate than I expected. I loved every second of it. A no nonsense, no frills scalp and head treatment. Dragged my husband here and he loved every second of it. There's a 2 for $100 deal for the 1 hour Thai style treatment, which you can book online or just text them. Absolutely worth it, but if you're not sure, there are other options as well! My husband and I did the 2 for $120 Chinese Herbal one. There are curtain partitions between stalls and it's otherwise clean "enough" if you're used to reflexology massage places. They opened the curtain partition between my husband and I, which was nice, but we both basically napped lol. For the Chinese herbal one, we had a hair wash, scalp deep clean, face cleanse, scalp and neck massage, and lats/arm massage as well. The neck and upper back massage is a dream! You also get a face mask put on as well, so don't do a full face of makeup if you come in. The scalp treatment was tingly (like head and shoulders minty?) and while there weren't perks I've had at other head spas, like the oxygenation devices, microcurrent, etc, it's pretty obvious from the price difference. They do take cash only OR Zelle! key note: they work really hard on you, and with that, the expected tip is $20pp. +while you're waiting, the owner's cute Pomeranian is ready to play and keep you company :) read more

This place is way better than the one that's trending on social right now. The place is clean and efficient. The owner is very into her craft. She gives a personalized evaluation for every customer and directs her employees to do things in particular ways and orders. My friends and I came in with an idea of which treatment we wanted to do - not knowing what the benefits behind each was. One friend had really dry hair but wanted to do chinese herbal hair treatment. She ended up getting ginger to help with moisture. Another friend wanted the ginger but was told hers was actually super oily and that she would benefit from herbal. I thought mine was super dry - I guess my hair was the healthiest under the microscope minus some residual hair loss. The owner curated a half and half treatment for me and also had my person massage the spots losing hair to help regenerate cells. We were also given cold water and ice jelly as a snack after. I would highly recommend her. Her English definitely has an accent but she does speak enough English to help you. 10/10 would climb those steep stairs again for this place! read more

They started off with scalp analysis using a a device where you can see your scalp close up on the tablet screen. It was oily so they suggested Herbal treatment. They massaged my head first and after shampoo. She was thorough cleaning it followed by another head massage using motion operated device and another device to scratch my head. It was very relaxing. After that, she soaked and rinsed my hair with herbal water which smells very good. Next, they massaged my hands. Final step, they blow dried my hair and gave me a back massage and ended it with final scalp check up on the screen again showing the clean looking scalp. The owner is super sweet and the spa feels like home! She used several massaging tools which felt so nice on my scalp. The staff is also very kind and make you feel so comfortable. I did so, and it's been several days, I still have not heard back from them. What does it take to hear back from you? Got the Chinese herbal head scalp treatment & I literally have never felt my scalp be this clean! Feels like I have a new scalp tbh, all the dandruff is gone. I wish I took a before & after pic but all I can say is this is so worth it, not only do they give you a luxurious deep cleaning of your hair/head, they massage your neck, chest, part of your back, arms & fingers. I really wanted to like this place. I rarely schlep out to Flushing and came specifically to try this place out, but it was a huge disappointment. We arrived about 15 minutes early for our appointment as requested. When we entered, the single room where all the services were provided was packed. After taking a look at my scalp, they upsold us to another service after telling me that I had a dandruff issue. That was news to me. But ok, maybe they're the pros so I agreed to a slightly more expensive service. It started off well enough, although it was a bit loud in the room, but much of the noise was coming from other customers, and I get how that might be harder to manage. It's sort of par for the course in these no frills places. A short while later, a second person started massaging my arm, which initially startled me, they assured me it was included in the services. Cool, that's nice. Then it got weird. The person who started with the treatment seemed to be getting pulled to another customer, so the second person who had massaged my arm took over, but transition was chaotic. There was a lot of back and forth between the two, and the first person seemed not to know what time they started working with me, when asked. I knew what time I had gotten to the place; but didn't see exactly what time the services began, so I did not get involved; but when they told me that the services were complete, I was left rather confused. The appointment was booked for an hour, and when I glanced at the clock, I should've had at least another 15 minutes left. When I asked to confirm if my appointment was really over...well it wasn't pretty. There was scolding and arguing among the staff. The owner did ask for them to give me another 5 minute massage which didn't quite add up an hour, and attempted to explain that my appointment should be shorter because there was some time where 2 people were working on me (but this was not for more than 5-10 minutes). At this point, I really didn't want to make more of a scene than the one I had inadvertently created, so I just nodded and I said that I understood. All this to say that what should've been a relaxing hour, turned out to be a really stressful 45 minutes (at best). I really don't understand the purpose of having 2 people provide services for one customer. It seemed chaotic and confusing for staff, and left me wondering who I should tip, and how much. In the end, I did tip both women collectively more than 20% of the cost of service, not because I thought the service provided was any good; but because I felt bad for asking about why I didn't get the hour of treatment that I had paid for, and starting a flurry of arguments. Not only this; but despite all the time spent on my hair, there was no conditioning used, so my hair felt tangled and dry. I absolutely would not come back, nor would I recommend that anyone give this place a try. read more

Worst service ever. Was too rough, not even sure they cleaned their supplies. Had too many flies. The dog looked like it was on some type of drug because of the way it was sitting so still. The lady working there whispered in my sister's ear commenting on her managers sexuality and how that was weird that she was gay. Also commented on my sister's body which is so disrespectful and so insensitive! No professionals at all. Take my word on it, I do NOT recommend. The place was even sketchy. They massaged our backs when this was strictly a SCALP treatment. Even so, the treatment that they put on us was very harsh and it felt like they were putting ice on our scalps.
