Talk about the worst customer service experience EVER!!! I came here on Tuesday to bring my SIL car. We had schedule two things to get down. We arrive at our appointment. They said we can use the car service to go somewhere or stay here to wait. That's a cool option so we left. Two hours after we called to get a status and no answer. We waited another hour nothing so we went back and they hadn't FIXED ANYTHING!! They were doing "paper work" and trying to call to make sure it's covered. Why didn't they just communicate with us instead of us waiting till 12:30. So we said let's just go and come another day so we asked for the car. It took them till almost 2PM!!! Everytime we asked someone gave us a different answer. One said it was getting a car wash (lies it was dirty still). Then someone said oh they're fixing the window lies (they said they couldn't) then they said the worker had left for his lunch so they would tell someone else. They never did we had to remind them. Worst car dealership experience of my life. We left exactly right at 1:50pm we arrived at 8:30 am and they didn't fix nothing nor even do the alignment we asked for. All this could've been easy if they just communicated. Just say hey "we are trying to get approval can take long wanna come back or wanna wait" but they didn't. I guess common sense is not that common.

I don't usually type reviews but I wanted to this time. Today I had a great car buying experience at Daytona Mazda. I arrived at 9:00am to test drive a new Mx-5. I was immediately greeted and the dealership doors opened for me right when I got out my car. I was glad to see my new pearl snowflake white convertible parked safely inside of the dealership. They rolled it outside and couple minutes later I was driving down the road shifting gears with a salesman named Chaz. Shortly after I was seated at one of the desks. Chatted a bit with Chaz , professional and kind. I enjoyed speaking with him , real positive vibes. Then another associate came to the table and then the dealing began. He wasn't pushy or rude simply presented me an offer. Shortly after a deal was made that I was comfortable with. Next I met Eddie the finance manager . Very polite and friendly. Went through the terms and sign. Soon after I was outside sitting in my new drop top with another friendly fellow setting up the Mazda app and connecting my phone to the car. Also going over all the settings and buttons on the car. I looked at my watch and it was like 12:30. Smooth and quick car purchase. Chaz the salesman also went the extra mile and drove my old car to my house while I drove my new convertible home. Daytona Mazda earned my business today ,I recommend and I'll be back for more purchases in the future.

Went to Daytona Mazda, and had a great time checking out the cars. Initially, we wanted a CX 30, but discovered the CX 3 met our needs best. We got a great deal of info, facts and insights from our salesperson Popeye ( yep, like the sailor-man)! I am a challenging customer to deal with, but the staff helped me get a fair deal without a big fanfare of BS or bloodletting. The finance was the easy part. JB ( Jason) , had the details wrapped up faster than any dealership I have dealt with. I hate long waits especially in these times. What a pleasant guy! Very personable, and straightforward with the financing, and benefits of warranties! Got a great vehicle for a wonderful deal, and got a very fair trade in price for my vehicle. Coincidentally, be sure to check out the underside of the Mazda on the platform on the way to the ( wonderful) coffee machine. Fascinating! Very Veteran friendly dealership! Kudos to everyone there!

They texted and said cylinders needed to be replaced cost to me. $9000. Mind you this is a 2018 with 85k miles Being distraught over hearing this I called the sales manager to see about the prospects of Gunter buying my car from me. Obviously they could do this work for minimal amount and resell the car for a nice profit. The sales manager Nick began getting louder throughout our conversation when I was pointing out the fact that this was a well taken care of car and not may miles for the year. It shouldn't just break down like this He continued to talk over me as his voice got louder and basically said that the service dept would handle that and would only be sales if I wanted to trade it in which I don't want another VW as he said that the dealership had nothing to do with what the "brand" did about their cars or recalls or whatever. He was getting louder and I couldn't get a word in edgewise and am not going to be treated like that and hung up. He actually called Me back immediately and asked if I hung up on him. I said yes and he again started with yelling at me telling me how rude I was and to come get my car and never call back I replied already planning on it as he continued to berate me and I hung up again My daughter went to pick up my car and asked to speak to him and he of course was "in a meeting " when the staff member returned which is BS. Had he shown an ounce of compassion and just said. Mam I'm sorry to hear that. Let me check with our service dept and see if there is reasonable amount we could purchase your car from you. Instead he was an arrogant obnoxious jerk that obviously does not care about good customer service I have seen other reviews involving this man and I don't know why Gunther would continue to employ someone who's job should be to diffuse situations not inflate them. I would love the opportunity to talk to his boss and let him know both sides of the story and I will make every effort to do so. I'm 65 years old and have been in a customer service liaison position for many years of my life in the medical field and am by no means a shrinking violet I would hate to have him treat someone with a thinner skin then me the way he did. Just despicable.

He is by far the most friendliest, courteous, and frank salesman I've dealt with to date. We contacted the dealership for a 08' Lincoln MKX advertised on an internet site for used auto sales. He sent us a video from his phone of the vehicle that day. After several discussions on price and clear that we were serious about purchasing a vehicle but at a fair price, John went the extra mile to bring the vehicle to us for a test drive. He didn't overwhelm us with sales tactics. He was the real deal, to-the-point, "let the car sell itself" type of a sales man. He is so easy going and easy to talk to. His dedication to providing us high quality customer service was impressive. We picked up the vehicle less than a week later and are satisfied with the car buying process at Daytona Nissan. It is my intention to write a review months from now on how the vehicle that I purchased works out. We arrived with our cash and trade and walked out with a used vehicle in less than 1 hour and 30 minutes and super satisfied. My boyfriend was extremely satisfied with how I was treated. I felt welcomed and that my business was valued. I did not hesitate to address any concerns that came up during the process. Each concern was either addressed by John or escalated to the Sales Department Manager immediately for resolution. That is much more than I can say about a few other dealerships that I visited in the nearby area. Very impressed. Highly recommend. In fact if you just happen to be in the Daytona Beach area, stop by and say hello to him. His level of work is outstanding! The only cons I could think of was that the vehicle i purchased had been cleaned on the outside but very dusty in the inside. I thought they would have paid attention to that level of detail. Overall - great ratings for Mr. Notaras.

My mechanic had already checked it in the ABS was not communicating with car. He told me it had to be programmed by Subaru so I should take it to them. So I took it to the dealership to have them look at my car and they told me it was my VDC which controls the ABS. They did not find anything else wrong with the vehicle or make me aware of anything else wrong with the vehicle. Part was on back order so I could not pick up the card March 26 upon picking up the vehicle before I even left dealership could feel the air was not blowing cold. I also noticed a hesitation when I was driving it. Came back to the dealership had service advisor drive the car he told me he drove fine. Told me that they'd have them look at the Ac. McKenna came out and told me I was low on Freon. Never mention anything else wrong with the air conditioning, even though air conditioning was working perfectly fine when I got there. Charge me almost $4000 to replace my VDC. Had to bring her back in because AC was not working properly and was still hesitating when accelerating between 40 and 45. They now give me an estimate of $1500 to fix my AC but that didn't include compressor that was another $1900 and then over $9000 for my transmission. I would've never spent the $4000 on the BDC had I've been made aware of the other things wrong with my vehicle even when I picked it up when they said I was low on Freon never mentioned anything about my air condition leaking. I have done numerous research on the Internet and found out that a lot of times when they replacing the VDC component, they can damage the compressor O-rings in the air conditioning. Subaru is refusing to take any responsibility. It seems very suspicious that all of a sudden AC and my transmission now needs replaced. I feel taken advantage and defrauded and will be reporting them to Better Business Bureau. https://www.google.com/search?q=replaced+VDC+component+in+subura+forester+now+AC+not+workimg&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&hl=en-us&client=safari&sei=WoTdaZO7L4-gwN4PpOOawQ0#lfId=ChxjMe

After looking to upgrade one of our reliable but aging vehicles and after deciding the type of vehicle we were looking for Subaru was going to be part of our search. We were greeted by Shane Devlin and he immediately asked what we were looking for, after disclosing we had never owned a Subaru but had visited this dealership years before when we were looking for a vehicle to flat tow behind our RV however flat towing wasn't a requirement this time, we were looking to compare a few Subaru's with other brands we were looking at and also to get an education on the Subaru products. Shane addressed our immediate concerns or assumptions since we weren't very familiar with Subaru - he began with explaining the different models and the differences between these models and all the different trim packages. After walking the lot we picked out a few that sparked our interest and he ran to grab the keys to open an Outback, a Forester and a Crosstrek. He was very patient and very knowledgeable of all the models we were interested in and provide very detailed explanations to all our questions and pointed out a number of things we didn't notice and then offered us a test drive on the one we showed interest in or any of the others we we wanted to drive. I had informed Shane we were looking at a number of different brands and he understood this and just wanted to ensure that Subaru was given consideration once we knew more about their products, no pressure, no up-selling just a honest informational conversation. Once we found a beautiful Forester Sport that had all the options and safety features we were looking for only then did he offered to put together some pricing including an estimate on our trade that we haven't driven here. Okay you get this was a great experience and this continued throughout the process, once we decided to make the purchase I can say everyone we met and worked with at this dealership showed us respect and showed their appreciation. We are very happy with our purchase and the service we received at this dealership and feel we got a exceptionally beautiful and safe vehicle for the price we were looking for and we were given a fair value for our trade and now we are first time Subaru owners, you owe it to yourself to check them out and if you decide to come here you definitely need to ask for Shane Devlin...

While it wasn't the best idea to buy a car under duress, the dealership took full advantage of the situation. My friend specifically wanted a truck, but since there were none on the lot, the staff pushed them into a Mitsubishi Outlander EV. To get the deal done, the sales team made several bold claims that turned out to be complete lies: The 45-Day Lie: They told my friend they had 45 days to "change their mind" and bring the car back to swap it. The Delay Tactic: When my friend called to switch as agreed, the dealership claimed they "hadn't closed the deal yet" and told them to wait. This was a trap to run out the clock. The Payment Trap: They offered "no payments for two months," but later used those missing payments as a reason why my friend couldn't trade the vehicle in, claiming they didn't have enough payment history. The Financial Fallout Once the "45-day window" passed, the dealership's tone changed instantly. They refused the swap and instead tried to force a new loan with: Astronomical interest rates. A requirement for a co-signer. A monthly payment that jumped an extra $200/month on top of an already high $900 payment. The Bottom Line They manipulated my friend into waiting until it was legally too late to push back.
