From the looks of other reviews, this dealership hasn't changed their practices of being deceptive to customers. I recently made a remote purchase of a GX460 from Ritcheys. From the videos, facetimes and discussions with my sales rep, the car was said to be in 'mint' condition, minus a couple of scratches / chips in the paint next to the gas cap. Anyways, we felt like we were getting a decent deal so pulled the trigger and had the vehicle shipped to our home in Colorado. Upon my inspection of the vehicle, I found the only truth in the salesman's statements are that the interior is in good condition. Here is a list of undisclosed issues I discovered when the vehicle arrived: 1. Paint cracking (like spiderwebbing under the paint / clearcoat) all up and down the driver side. This issue is very evident on the doors close to the windows, and above the doors on between the door and the roof rack. 2. Faded paint on the roof, so bad it looks like matte paint as compared to the factory gloss. 3. The front bumper has noticeable cracks and it's clear, after further investigation, that the vehicle was damaged in a front / side swipe type of collision. The passenger side was clearly repainted as there are indications: orange peel paint that does not match the rest of the vehicle and missing 'new' paint behind the two passenger side door handles. This damage was not present on the carfax so it may have been an easy 'miss' on their part. 4. The chrome door handles are literally peeling. They look like they were dropped in a vat of acid and need to be replaced. 5. Lastly, the car has a terrible interior smell, almost like something is rotten in the vehicle. I specifically asked the sales agent if 1. there are any smells, 2. if there are any issues with the paint. I received assurances that neither were present. Upon my review of the vehicle, I emailed someone at the dealership who asked how my experience was via a generic email. I received a response that they would direct my message to the appropriate management. It's been over a week and I have yet to hear from anyone, not even an email from management or my sales rep (you know who you are) with a scripted apology (how hard can that be?). It's clear this dealership does not care about making long term relationships and only cares about pushing volume. Do not trust Ritchey autos with your business, especially if you are a remote purchaser. Their youtube videos all sound the same and they will not disclose issues to you. read more

I would never recommend to buy any vehicle from this dealership. My experience was an absolute joke and it got worse today. In 2023, I found my dream truck, f150 king ranch right color everything was perfect. Paying 43,000 for a used vehicle, I inspected the vehicle thoroughly. I found that the battery was 3 years old and the auto start stop feature wasn't working because the battery was bad. I found that there was dog nail puncture in the door leather and the passenger side automatic flip running board wasn't working. I agreed on a price as long as all that was fixed. I purchased the truck, so excited. They had my truck for a week fixing these issues. I get a call to come pick up my truck because everything was done. When I get there, the battery was replaced with a motor craft battery, the rip was patched but it looked like absolute garbage where the colors weren't even matching and the electronic step board wasn't fixed. They eventually had the upholstery guy refix, still looking like garbage and I had to take my truck to ford to get the step side fixed myself. Fastforward a year, my truck starts to have a slow start, I bring it to orielys to test the battery and they say battery is good, alternator is bad. Sooo knowing I needed a new alternator, I bring it to ford and they diagnose the problem. They found that ritchey put the wrong type battery and the wrong cranking amp size battery in my truck. My truck needed a agm style battery with 800 cranking amps and ritchey put a lead acid in it with 600 cranking amps, killing the battery in less than a year. So everything they were supposed to "fix" wasn't done or wasn't done correctly. Now I'm $330 in the hole to ford to replace a battery that ritchey was supposed to fix themselves. And on top of that!! I called ritchey to try and get a receipt for the purchase of the battery so I could get it replaced under warranty, they allegedly have no record of replacing it LOL!!! Love Richey Auto In Daytona. W whad the pleasure of working with Jamari Daniels and he was spectacular. He greeted us with kindness and we rode around the lot for over a hour and half trying to decide on a car. And not once did he ever try and force us to buy something. It was actually the best car buying experience we smiled and laughed the whole time! He answered any questions we had. This was on a Saturday and the banks were closed because it was later in the day. DO NOT BUY A USED CAR HERE !!! ! They have no problem taking your money but will not honor the warranty if there is something wrong with it. I bought a car there and had a problem with the brakes. I took it back the next day and they said they sent it to the shop to be fixed. They never fixed it and did not even keep their promise to do preventive maintenance . They didnt even give me the full tank of gas they promised. No to mention they were very rude and misleading. I didnt even get a call from a manager when I complained and had to go back 13 times. It got so bad I lost my temper. Never fixed a thing and told me to take them to court if I wanted anything from them. I never had a problem buying a car from anyone but they are the epitome of sleazy used car salesman. Do yourself a favor and stay away from there. read more

I wanted to test drive a used car on Ritcheys Auto Melbourne's lot. The battery was dead and sales rep Trent Pilgrim said not to worry, this happens when the cars sit on the lot. He jumped it, it was good for test drive, I loved it and bought the car. My husband even asked another associate if the battery could be tested, but the associate dismissed my husband and said it was a common occurrence and didn't need testing. I get it home and the next day the battery is dead. testing a battery should be part of initial inspection on incoming cars. Obviously, it wasn't tested and they sold me the car with an almost dead battery. Service department didn't do their job by testing basic operating functions and sales rep Trent Pilgrim dismissed my concerns. I had to buy a new battery, but when I purchased it at NAPA, I was told the car needs re-set when replacing the battery. I had to take the car to an auto repair shop to have it replaced and re-set. Could've all been avoided if Ritcheys employees would've done their jobs to begin with. No one ever acknowledged their mistakes, I never heard from anyone to see what happened (managers). They offered to pay for the expenses I incurred, but I'm still waiting for the reimbursement. Trent, the service department and the managers have earned the negative connotation often associated with used car sales. read more
