T&d Auto repair is the best in town. It started with my starter they fixed it flawlessly for a reasonable price. Then I came in with this noise and I thought for sure I'd have to have something replaced. But he told me if I don't use the air conditioner I'm good to go. So my air conditioner doesn't work anyway so this gentleman sent me on my way it didn't bring me in to take my money. I went there several times spent a lot of money. At first they seem to be okay. I knew I needed a U-joint done in my car. Instead they just sent it over to get it aligned. That was the first problem. Then later on after them putting in a water pump when I had a suspicion it was the heating coil the U-joint went. This has been a roller coaster ride. I find out that I still smell antifreeze even after they put the water pump in. They say they can't smell anything. They should have put the heater on and then they would have really smelled it. So I took it to Karl's. The smell has been going on for a month and a half I thought maybe it was residual antifreeze from the water pump going. But the water pump never went it wasn't leaking or nothing it was actually my heating coil. So Karl disconnected the heating coil put a few hoses in and the problem was solved including my car stalling was solved also. So I never needed a water pump they assumed I needed a water pump and I mentioned it could have been the heating coil and I was ignored. I just had a mechanic in my family that's why I know a little bit. Karl's Auto diagnosed it within 20 minutes and called me so it was a heating coil and I said you know what I thought it was. So I ended up paying for a water pump when I didn't have to T&D auto repair they said it was leaking but it was a heating coil all along. Asked for a quote via Yelp "projects". The owner, Dustin, contacted me within 12 hrs with a quote. The quote was to inspect and diagnose my A/C in my 2006 Jeep GC Limited. He got me in instantly. Got to the shop on Hand Ave, 2 miles from my house. Arrived with hot air blowing on a 90 degree day. In less than 50 mins, not only did they diagnosis it, they repaired it. Left the shop and had to turn the A/C up to a warmer temp and back the fan off. Freezing cold. Great Customer Service, easy to find, clean shop, and very professional. Well I am learning a valuable lesson right now of trusting T&D Automotive in Ormond for taking care of their customers, I have been left and right referring them now its bit me in the ass, I have paid these men well near a thousand dollars in repairs to my van only today to discover they did a half ass job on putting a transmission in my work van, the asses didnt change the seals when changing my transmission, when I specifically said to replace what needs to be I dont care I will pay for it well those asses skipped that part,and told my husband they did. I have been driving my van for a less then a month cause it broke down and that time I had it towed to his shop for a fuel pump put in, well got it back out of their shop drove it to a job parked it on a driveway two days, this morning go to get her and discover this puddle of transmission fluid. Well my husband calls T&D and ask him if he had changed the seals like he had and I had specifically told him to do what needed to be done, well now for him to change our seals is another 500, which we just gave him 560 to change the transmission and do neccessary repairs and then fuel pump we gave him 365, so I would have figured they would take care their customers, no no they dont, if I want my transmission not to go back out its gonna cost me another 500 for something they should have done, hell they had my van for almost a week more when changing it to begin with. Why? So just beware of them. They are not honest, they will screw ya to make a dollar. Btw please fell free to share so no one else has to endure their costly errors.
