I would recommend Karl over anyone in town. It took him 5 minutes to diagnose an issue I'd been trying to have other mechanics try and track down for months and had costed me hundred. Karl charged me $50 so I happily paid him $60 and told him to keep the change. On two separate occasions he fixed me up in no time for about the same cost. He did the job (including labor) for less than 1/2 of what Pep Boys quoted for the parts alone. Karl's is excellent. Any car problems I have get taken care of here. They're quick and efficient. Karl saves the day! Unfortunately, my car felt the need to break down on a Sunday, when I was two hours away from home. I thought to myself... I know it's going to be expensive, but thank goodness there is an Auto Mall across the street. I did not realize how inflated the pricing would be?? I relatively knew what the problem was, and it was a very simple fix. I didn't know anyone handy in the area :( After reading a few reviews on yelp, I found Karl! I explained my situation and he was able to give me a quote over the phone. He was an absolute lifesaver! I was already out of town two more days than I anticipated. He was able to get me back on the road very quickly with a very significant price difference in repairs. I would prefer to give my business to someone local anyways, but when you are stranded you don't really have a choice. My advice to you is to call a wrecker and bring it to Karl's. Just got my truck back from carls automotive and it is running better than ever!! Not only did he fix the exhaust leak from the manifold but he replaced all bad screws with factory brand parts that he ordered from the dealership for me.. I would recommend his business to anyone who needs their vehicle worked on and doesn't know who to trust. Not only did he get my truck back to me within 2 days he also was nice enough to pick me up after the truck was finished because I had no way to get back to his shop.
