What makes Affordable Auto Pros so horrible compared to other horrible shops is that the horrible work that they perform is only the base of what this shop stands for. This shop likes to lie and dodge accountability for the "work" that they screw up. I took my vehicle in to get the fuel tank dropped and the sending unit replaced. They had taken my fuel tank selector valve apart and replaced the fuel lines. First off they used hard nylon lines and couldn't even cut them to length so they were bending out of shape. This cause the selector valve to miss align. They put the bolts for that valve in my ash tray and zip tied the valve to my frame. They used push connects to fit the lines and I couldn't even make it home without all of my fuel leaving my tank. Talk about a jank job. Additionally when all my fuel dumped out on my way home from Affordable Auto Pros, it damaged my lift pump and had to get a new lift pump and prime the entire fuel system. I brought my truck to another shop and they invited me to the back multiple times to see them work and take pictures. They had to torch the bolts off to get to the tank because they hadn't moved in so long. We go to the sending unit they "took out", and it looked as it hadn't been out since 1990 when the truck was new. Before I brought my truck to the new shop, I had called Affordable Auto Pros twice, and left 2 messages. No response back. I called them a third time after the new shop had fixed my truck wanting to resolve the issue. They didn't care. So I filed claims against the company and it will be a looong process to get my money back. If you ever have the chance to talk to Tony James, make sure you communicate very slowly, because he needs the assistance in understanding basic concepts like putting parts back how they should be. The most frustrating part is that this is not my first time at this shop. I was pleased with this shop previously on multiple occasions. But I need repeatability when I'm spending thousands of dollars. And this shop cannot repeat quality work. All in all I payed $1400 for the shop to horrible work, $800 for a new shop to replace fuel pump that broke and system prime, $1300 more dollars to have the new shop do the work Affordable Auto should have done. Think twice before you let dishonest people touch your car. If Affordable Auto Pros had just reached out and said "Hey this is too much to handle we can't do it", I would have been perfectly ok with that. I'm sure there will be a response from the shop saying "Oohhh that ls not how it went", "That's not true at all". But consider the fact that I wouldn't be spending all this time on a review to make this up.

This is in dispute the that fact that I had an oil change from a dealership just 30 days before and the problem wasn't identified. He verified this by showing me the brake pads. I had previously gone to Certified to have freon put in my air conditioner because the air was running warm. After the car sitting for 3 months due to illness, the Freon dissipated from the vehicle. Certified Car Care replaced the Freon at no additional charge and marked the vehicle so he could trouble shoot and identify the problems in the future. I…read moretook the car back 4 times 1) when starting it would clunk-motor mounts not tightened 2) junk noises from underneath- left screwdriver in suspension. 3) clutch still not engaging/disengaging right 4) still not shifting right and the ESC light comes on by itself. My clutch would not always work just goes to the floor, won't go into gear, won't come out of gear. Steering wheel now not aligned with wheels. Took it to another mechanic he said that the clutch master cylinder had not been replaced and I paid for a new one. The new mechanic looked up the parts and found a clutch, flywheel and pressure plate set for $490.00 I was told from Wallace they were giving me a good deal and no markup because they were a thousand dollars each, the flywheel and the clutch. SO, they made over 1,500 in just those two parts alone. I was still paying for the car, had to pay off the loan trade it in as I DO NOT FEEL SAFE DRIVING THIS CAR. SO, in a matter of a couple weeks I paid the 3,200, 800.00 and then 2,500 to pay off the loan on top of the 4k as a down payment. I hope they had a good Christmas because I sure as heck did not. I used to trust this place 100% when Dad and Son ran it.********* I CANNOT BELIEVE THIS PLACE NOW. I DO NOT THINK ANY OF THE WALLACES DAD OR SON RUN THIS PLACE ANYMORE. It was after 3 o'clock, Denise said there was not enough time to evaluate the car and fix before closing and asked me please bring it back in the morning. She asked me to be there at 7:30am when the owner John would be there. I agreed and showed up Wednesday morning at 7:30. I meet John no small talk, no asking what I did to the car, just professionalism and calm, and he just asked for the key and as soon as he had evaluated it he would tell me. He said the compressor had failed. By 11:00am it was fixed, a new compressor installed at no cost to me. While I was very stressed out, they were calm and always told me they would fix it and they did. These people are trustworthy and honest. They stand behind their work.
