The bathroom is small but adequate and cleaner than most chain hotels and the beds are comfortable. There is a gift shop/flower shop type across the street as well as a convenience store and a few other places within walking distance. This is an older motel so if you are looking for new or upscale, this isn't it. It is off the highway so quiet and convenient to grocery store.

Wood paneling throughout and a fish tank without lights on--the fish were alive--complimented the rest of the decor. Maybe the rooms are a little bit better than the majority of the hotel I experienced, but from the looks of the website, it seems like these rooms were taken directly from a bad children's furniture store catalog from the 80's. If you're in Doniphan, I'd say stay at the Days Inn up the street... or somewhere else that would allow you to drive in to town. They also have wi-fi that customers can't use...

Room reeked of stale cigarette smoke, perhaps explaining the smoke detector being wrapped in plastic. Avoid this property if at all possible.
