I got my daymar 2018 arrow from a private deal in Belleville ont so far I am very Pleased with it it seems to be a great bike mine is red.I like the way it handles and rides,the only thing I can find fault with it is that the signal lights do not beep when you activate them and alot times I forget they are on for a while ,is their someway to make the signals beep when on if so please advise other then this i really love my arrow so far have only 887 kms on it right now. VERY DISAPPOINTED. We purchased a Bommerbuggy 2 seater in of May 2021 for my elderly parents and I have to say that it is a beautiful looking scooter. At the time when we were negotiating the purchase with Ebike Oakdale, they said everything we wanted to hear. 2 year warranty, they will come and pick up free under warranty and we really will have no worries. We purchased the scooter and for the first week they answered our calls promptly everytime. We shortly started noticing that the tail light wires and socket assembly was rubbing at times on the back wheels and the wires would be pulled and the light assembly pulled out of the socket. We indicated that the scooter springs were sagging already and affecting the tail light clearance. From that point on calls to service department put on their dancing shoes and finding excuses not to pick up calls or the scooter at their expense. We fixed the lights ourselves and as the scooter was not used much we lived with it. This April the springs sagged even more where the light lenses popped out and we had to call service to address it. Well now the warranty we were told was only 1 year on the body. Long story short they wanted nothing to do with it. We took our scooter to a local shop and found that the assembly of the springs was incorrect(Oakdale did assemble the scooter incorrectly). The adjustments were made, we paid the local shop and issues all went away. My advice, STAY AWAY, they have very poor service but good excuses why they can not address your issues after the purchase. One big excuse is that parts are not available as well. Can you believe that, a new product and parts are not available and there is nothing that they can do. . Very Sad. read more

This is a 2-part review. The first is about one of their products called THE BOOMERBEAST 2D and the other is the staff that helped me on Tuesday, June 28, 2022. I bought the BOOMERBEAST 2D July 2021 and it has been a NIGHTMARE! I bought it because I need an all-terrain mobility scooter to get around in my rural setting. Daymak ADVERTISED the following "The all new Boomerbeast 2D is the mobility scooter for all roads. The AWD allows the Boomerbeast to go on dirt roads, snow, sand or regular pavement. Range is up to 50 km on the standard version and up to 95 km with the lithium ion battery for the Deluxe version..." It is my belief that it is FALSE ADVERTISING that THE BOOMERBEAST 2D is a mobility scooter - - IT SHOULD BE SOLD AS A CRAZY ATV FIVE STARS to the following 3 EMPLOYEES: I worked with. Malaika whom I believe is the Service Manager, Kerry and Devere who are the technicians. They were very kind to me. Malaika made sure that I was listened to and was very empathetic to my situation. When I hurt myself, she made sure I sat down and took a break. She came outside and watched while I rode and listened to the noises when I told her about it. She said she would look into the situation. She was very professional in all manners. Kerry was first to help with by using the Bluetooth application to change the settings. He waited for me to test drive and see what I said. He also listened to what I had to say and did his best to change the settings. Unfortunately, they needed a more seasoned person who was Devere to continue. He spent the time changing the setting and making sure I was satisfied. I was happy at the settings but due to the chair being non-supportive and my back already hurting, I was unable to give them a 100% everything is ok due to the pain, me being tired and needed to get home as it was over 1.5 hours to get back home. I left it with Malaika to handle the details of the seat. From the second day, there has been nothing but problems. I am thankful that where I bought it from is very patient and know their products. They worked over the year to fix the issues this "mobility scooter" gave me. 1st, it comes with a torque that is insane. It pulls you into the seat as you take off and the same in reverse. I can't say how many times I used the throttle gently and then BOOM off I went and it was really scary for me as I have a broken back and would throw it out of place. 2nd the seat is not a mobility seat that holds your back especially if you are a woman. I was told it is built better for a man's body. 3rd the braking system .... Holly molly it was so hard that if there was a windshield you would go straight threw it, even in low speeds. 4th the front and rear tires rotations do not meet up. The front goes faster than the back which causes a jerking moving, once again not great for mobility issues. 5th one of the tires was not good and it was lumpy. They realized later it was a bad tire right from the beginning. 5th the gear box was leaking right from the beginning. As I drove it, it always squealed. 6th need new calipers and brakes due to them getting stuck. It was brought into Daymak over two weeks ago so they can fix the issues. I went on Tuesday, June 28th to test drive it in order to see what was done. Right away there was still the rotation issues, torque issues and then A NEW RATTELING NOISE came into the picture. I do want to say the following employees helped me and were very professional and did their best. One of the rounds the scooter once again threw me and my back went "out of joint". It spent more than 1.5 hours (I believe) testing while they were fixing it via blue tooth. We did get to a point where I believe the scooter may be good BUT there are two problems: 1. The seat - Daymak stated they will replace it with a captain's chair BUT they want me to pay for the labour as this is a modification. It is DAYMAK'S DESIGN FLAW to put in a seat that is designed more for an ATV, a man's body and has NO BACK SUPPORT. This is not my fault and I believe Daymak should pay for the labour to fix this. 2. The new rattling noise - I was told it is due to the new settings. It is horrible sounding and makes it sound like it is falling apart. I was told they could not change it and if they do, I may be thrown due too much torque. What I am looking for is for Daymak to either fix this SO CALLED MOBILITY SCOOTER so it runs smoothly and quietly and most of all SAFELY like a mobility scooter. If they are unable to do this, then they should 1st make the Boomerbeast 2D model part of their ATV's section and not call it a mobility scooter and refund my money as this could be considered FALSE ADVERTISING. I went to their Curity location to test drive their fat tire folding Max-S. The woman in the showroom was so rude and off hand and had the attitude that I was wasting her time, that I should have just left. But I'd made a special trip by TTC to test drive these. It ruined her day to serve a customer. First she gives me a helmet with all the straps stretched out with the buckles in the wrong spots and dangling cords, ALL helmets must be set up properly or you will hit your head if something happens, a place that sells bikes should know this and shouldn't be handing you helmets that are unsafe. So I had to get a second helmet that was somewhat better but I still had to fix all the straps, this is just carelessness. It was the biggest problem of her life to show me how to set up the speeds on the bike, she was unable to explain that you could ride the bike without battery power. I had to keep asking her over and over, when I rode it, you could not go slowly at all, it had way too much speed and was jerking forward in spurts. She told me "these entry level models don't have a slow adjustable pedal assist speed" and we're talking almost $2,000. I find this hard to believe, you can't just fly along at high speed on bike lanes in the city. So I tried a $3,000 bike and I couldn't get the pedal assist to work, she then died on the cross to bother to show me how it worked properly. Even then, it shot ahead numerous times in a manner that would be extremely dangerous on the road with traffic. My impression is she has zero idea on how to set these bikes up for a proper slow pedal assist, which is what you need for city riding. She also stated that the Max-S bike's range was only 15 kilometers! this doesn't seem possible these days. Yet the website states 40 kilometers. Neither of these bikes were any good, I wouldn't buy them if they were on sale for $500. If this is any indication of their "service" I would hate to buy anything from this place and have a problem with it that requires you to return it for repairs. DAYMAK is the worst e-bike and the after-sales service I have ever seen. I am in the scooter Li-ion battery trade for 3 years all my customers complain DAYMAK a horrible experience. I also have two incidents with them. I never recommend DAYMAK or E-BIKE UNIVERSE their service partner as good business places to go. THEY WOULD LIKE TO KEEP THEIR HANDS ALWAYS IN YOUR POCKET. INCIDENT 1 I went with my DAYMAK ROME E scooter bike to get repaired a steering issue. First, they charged $ 65 CAD saying that they charge one hour labor to find out the issue. They promised they would call me within two days and email my receipt for the payment since the printer did not work. I did not get any call or e-mail. I went after a week. They looked at me just like I came to rob a bike since they could not find any record and I didn't have any document. I found my scooter was parked with the others. I pointed out it. A guy went to it and asked for my name and got verified it is as my e-scooter. Then they told a part called Triple tree is not available in the stock and asked for a week to find it. I went for several weeks and they could not find it. A guy was trying to explain that my bike is 3 to 4 years old and they do not carry parts. I told them it has run less than 100 Km even though it is 3 years old. He was telling me that they do not have a responsibility to import parts for old e-scooters they sold. THIS IS THE AFTER-SALES SERVICE OF DAYMAK. Never buy it if you want to save your money. The payment invoice and pictures are attached as the witness. INCIDENT TWO I asked for a pair of front signal lights and a rear signal light for a DAYMAK Rome e-bike they sold. The salesgirl called a guy inside and asked him to find whether they are in stock. My bike was inside there garage but he never tried to match the parts with it. He came with some signal lights and told me they are good for DAYMAK ROME. He took my credit card went inside the store and came with the invoice and the signal lights. I found the Invoice was wrong. It mentioned two rear signal lights and one front signal lights. He didn't want to change it. He said "It is okay since the price is the same" I took them home and found the pair of front signal lights are different than the original. The sales guy has given something totally different. After two days I went to get them exchanged. Another guy came out and told me, "We don't exchange or refund after we sell something. It is our policy. It is written everywhere." He was showing me the posters. I explained to him that there sales guy gave me that saying it was the suitable lights for DAYMAK ROME. He called the salesperson. The salesperson was crying from inside " He asked for the signal lights for DAYMAK ROME" ....! I told "But it is different. Please check on the bike. it is inside". He replied but it is our policy not to return money or exchange parts. WONDERFUL. He said the parts were perfect and sold me. Now it has become my fault that I did not match the parts with the bike sitting inside their service department. I am having it. I am taking legal action to get my money, legal charges, and with a compensation of another $ 5000 for my time and hassle they made. Never go there if you want to save your money and time. I ordered my son a ride-on car through the Shopping Channel, should've read these reviews first. From day 1, the car does not drive straight, so when I steer with the remote control, the car swerves from side-to-side as it is difficult to not over-correct. I emailed Daymak and was told to bring it in. With COVID and the likes, it took me a few months to get it in. I had to pay $65 plus tax for them to fix the issue. In addition, the battery was dropping quickly. They told me I need a new battery for $65 plus tax. Yes, a battery that was used for maybe 3 hours a week over the course of 3 months needed to be replaced...a little ridiculous in my opinion. As for the car not able to drive straight, they didn't fix it. The technician who was there when I picked the car up told me it's common with the remote and cannot be fixed. WHAT?! This is a common issue, yet you had me drive all the way down here, charge me money, to tell me that? Had you told me that when we were emailing, I NEVER would have bothered to bring it in. The two ladies working at the front were like a deer in headlights, didn't have a clue what was going on. When I asked for a refund for they labour, since they never were going to be able to help, she just kept repeating "labour is non-refundable". When I asked to see a manager, I was ignored and one was never called. Then a technician, hiding behind a wall, told them to look at it again. So I stood there waiting for 20 minutes while they tinkered some more...and it still wasn't fixed. I was so annoyed, and had to get back to work, that I left there $150 poorer and extremely unsatisfied. If you want a ride-on car for a child, try Toys R Us or somewhere, but do not buy a Daymak. read more

Terrible product, even worse service. Rechargeable bike wouldn't recharge. Took months and many calls to service department to get them to "replace" the battery. It looks like they just charged up the defective battery and sent it back (with same problem -- battery still won't recharge). It's been 1.5 years with this thing and I've only been able to ride it 3 times because it won't recharge. What a bunch of crooks! DO NOT BUY FROM DAYMAK ! Got my bike in November of 2016 and got to ride it for maybe 400 km before it started showing problems. After getting my battery upgraded to Lithium, you would think it would be better, but in early May it was already showing signs of problems. 5 visits to the shop starting in May and ending in November!!! I got to ride it 3 more times before I had to put it away for Snow. Each time I brought it in, they had lost my charger and gave me a new one. TURNS OUT, I HAD DESTROYED THE BATTERY BECAUSE THOSE IDIOTS GAVE ME THE WRONG CHARGER FROM THE VERY BEGINNING. OF COURSE, THEY REFUSED TO TAKE ANY OF THE BLAME AND CHARGED ME OVER 600 TO REPAIR THE BATTERY THEY BROKE. This being the 5th and last time I had brought it in. Over 1000$ later in repairs my bike has a lower distance range and speed than it did when I bought it. TERRIBLE DANGER PRODUCT NEVER AGAIN I AM BUYING On the website it indicates that the mobility scooter has a 40+ KM range with a top speed of 32 KM/Hr. While the top speed is probably correct, the range of the scooter is NOWHERE near 40+KM which I absolutely need I need and she assured me that it would serve the purpose perfectly. Whenever I tried to go up a hill, the Daymak mobility scooter did have enough power and went backward and I could not make it up the hill. I tried to use the brake but it never worked. Whenever I was on the sidewalk and I approached the intersection to cross the street where the sidewalk was graded down to meet the street, the Ebike would not stop on the sidewalk but would instead keep rolling forward even when you press the brakes. This made it unsafe as the Daymak scooter would end up partially on the road.1. It was very difficult to access any Government Buses. The Toronto Bus Driver told me she were not sure if they were legit? I told them according to Ebikeuniverse Daymak, it is a mobility Scooter. The Toronto Bus Driver was so kind to assist me by helping five (5) young men to lift the Daymak mobility scooter off the Bus. Because it was very difficult to get off the bus. Then, it was very complicated get into all the elevators. There is no very fine control for just going ¼ or 1/2 MPH It was extremely very difficult to get into any elevator. It was driving like 4-6 miles per hour (too fast) just to enter the elevators. Also Daymak mobility scooter was very fast even if I went to the slowest speed of the turtle. It got worse, when I went into the TCC, the Daymak mobility scooter would not stop moving. I turned it off but it still would NOT stop moving. Daymak mobility scooter moved from one end to the other of the TTC bus. I had to hold on to the hand bars and that still didn't work. Applying the brakes did not work either. Eventually I got into the Go Train; however I was unable to get into the Go Bus. So the Bus Driver asked the manger of the Go Bus for assistance and she said no. I therefore had to pay for a Taxi, after paying for the Go train/Bus. Buyer Beware!!! I purchased a Daymak Boomerbuggy II and my experience has been TERRIBLE PRODUCT AND TERRIBLE SERVICE. I purchased and paid extra for Daymak to do a pre-delivery inspection. Scooter broke down within days of first use. Returned to Daymak 3 times within 2 weeks for warranty repairs and each time it broke down after I used it again. On 2 occasions I was left stranded with no means of transportation, and not being able to walk home due to a knee injury. This scooter is supposed to help the disabled, not put them at risk. DO NOT BUY FROM DAYMAK! Worse customer service ever! I bought a Rickshaw King Mobility Scooter from Daymak last September! It has been NOTHING but problems! The power keeps giving out. It has been in service TWICE in TWO months and again today it had no power! The first time I was stuck in my apartment for TWO WEEKS unable to walk any distance. Last Saturday the mobility scooter was returned to me after 3 1/2 weeks. They did loan me another mobility scooter this time but the left mirror was broken and I had to hold it in place while riding. Also I asked that MY SCOOTER be fix ASAP as the loaner scooter did NOT have cruise control on it. It really aggravated my wrist pain to the point I have to go back to my surgeon on July 6! When they returned my scooter they wanted $200 for delivery and pick up even though in a phone conversation they said they would waive the fee. Part of that $200 was for the loaner scooter. went to the store today and could not believe the selection, there were so many models my eyes bugged out, so many colours to choose from, my only complaint would be too much selection, ultimately I ended up choosing a 72v Eagle in green, bike is beautiful, looks similar to my old gas scooter, had a great time looking at bikes and the staff treated me great, I appreciated how knowledgable they were. Worse product come with worse customer service. I am so hangry with Daymak that i make a lot of research on them to make sure that my experience was not a single bad experience. After reading many forum and comments it seems to be a fact that Daymak is not only a Bad company but the also make false advertising and alway try to take advantage of customer and give very bad customer support and they most of the time have no spare part in stock. Here is my own experience. i buy a chameleon scooter. They advertise this scooter is built in Canada. This is a scam. Daymak have no factory in Canada. I found in the box a quality control checlist...all in chinesse. I start to be worry. Before to buy the scooter, my saleman, Nick who was very nice at the begening Strongly suggest me to buy PDI otherwise the scooter will have no warrantty. So i pay an extra 139$ to have a pre delivery inspection and a 2 years limited warranty, I also had to pay an extra 300$ for shipping which it seems to be a little expensive to ship a single box to Niagara Falls but a have paid anyway since I was so excited to get a Canadian built product but as I mentioned before It ended to be a cheap chinees products. When it finally arrive, 6 weeks later then expected, i was so happy that i forget my bad experience so far. I was ready to give them a chance. Then i start once again to be worry. The box seems to be never open. So how was that possible for them to make a pre delivery inspection? I open the box and discover that the scooter was partially dismantle. Then my nigtmare start. I had to assemble many part myself and few screw was missing. The scooter has some scratch in few place, even if it come with some protective over. So they put protective over already scrath part!!! I was very disapointed fo find so many evidence that the scooter was not built in Canada, Most of the body parts was made from cheap plastic and would crack id you screw them just a little bit to tight. The instruction manual was generic. The only things look to match with my scooter was the picture on the top of the manual. Everything else was far to be related to my specific scooter. Then after i finish to assemble everything, i was disapointed that the battery was not charge at all. So i have to plug my scooter and wait untill the next day to use it. The next day i try to run my scooter, but it still has no charge...! I try to call customer service, and no one was picking the phone. I look on some forum and found that the wire may be not hook properlly. So after dismatling the battery cable was not connected properlly. So i connect it and wait to the next day. Day 3 i was ready to make the ride of my life. I turn the scooter on and the battery was fully charge! Alleiluia! I put my helmet and was ready to leave for the whole day! After 5 km my battery gage was showing 50%. I was very disapoisnted and i have to go back. Then the police stop me. Apparently, i had to put the pedal on my scooter. I was in shock, but i put them on and it was quite easy. But from this moment the scooter become very dangerous to use. I had to be extra carefull while i turn leff or right for the pedal don t touch the ground. To make a long story short, after calling for hours customer service i decided to call the sale and someone pick up the phone immediately. Wow. As slow as they are for service as far as they are for sales. It was nick on the phone, my initial saleman, and he was very cold and arrogant. He told me that the battery might need to be replace and that i have to bring the scooter to their shop. I explain that i paid for PDI and that the scooter was obviously not inspected. He then offer me to ship me new batteries under warranty and paid only for the shipping. 350$. Then i decided to drive there and bring my scooter. They told me i have to leave my scooter there and they will call me back. It took them 4 weeks! Nick that was now acting very rudely told me that they where out of battery and they where waiting some shipment. But they have so many scooter in stock. They never offer me to take some from other scooter. Finally after i brong my scooter back i kroke a fender and the stand was completely crooked. Once again it took for ever to reach them. After waiting 6 weeks i receive...the wrong parts! The fender was completely a different model and the stand was absolutely wrong. I start over and try a week to reach them. I spoke to someone call Daniel and he treat me very rudely, was very nagging and wanted me to pay to return the part and after they would consider send me new parts but i would have to pay for shipping... he told me the stand was not warranty and the price for a new stang was 99$ plus shipping.
