Went here to have my tires changed on my Honda Ruckus Scooter and some spring maintenance that needed to be done. Marco was great, there was an extra issue found when picking up the bike and he graciously gave me a ride back home while he went right back to working on it. Picking it up he made sure everything was running well and followed up with a phone call later in the week to make sure I was happy. The price was great asl well. EDIT: I've added screenshots of the email interaction that Marco initiated. As you can see, I offered TWICE to take down the review, but there seemed to be no interest in my offer. Have to agree with the first commenter about having a brutal experience, and cannot recommend Marco to anyone. If you're a person who's INCREDIBLY laissez-faire, doesn't rely on their bike to get to work, and are okay with shifting timelines, drop in. But if you value honesty, quality, forthrightness, a definite timetable and never feeling gamed, STAY FAR AWAY! Good things: he picked up my scooter when it died downtown and brought it back to his shop, and didn't charge. Bad news: you always pay somewhere. I first called him March 19 in the evening for a headlight issue, and he said to come on by the next morning and that he'd read the service manual for my scooter that night. The next morning, it was obvious he didn't when it took him hours to take off the front and access the headlights, just to swap them out. The headlights were a bit brighter, but not at all like when I first got the scooter, and I bought obnoxiously bright HID lights, which should have remedied the issue. The headlights actually became a big source of frustration over the next little while, as I repeatedly took my scooter to Marco and was still left with malfunctioning headlights. One time, like Pedram below, time just dragged on. I brought my scooter in on the evening of May 5 for Marco to look at. On May 7, I asked him if it was ready and he texted back ".hey need a bit more time", so I responded, "Okay - you thinking tomorrow?" (May 8) and he said, "Yes" "Thank you". And just like Pedram, Marco kept saying he needed more time, he'd get on it right away, it'd be fixed soon - but I couldn't pick up the scooter until the afternoon of May 11. After explaining to him I needed a more definite timeframe in the future, he apologized and we made an appointment for Friday, May 15 at 11am. Running late (and letting him know), I showed up at his shop just before 11:30 and he wasn't there, and kept me waiting almost half an hour. Then, because he hadn't eaten, he took me to a roti place so he could eat, then to Mississauga to pick up mirrors for his bike, and then chatted outside at his shop. What should have been a half hour job that would have left me the second half of the day available for my work turned into a catastrophe: I didn't leave until a quarter after 5, having to deal with rush hour traffic and a lost day's work. Same deal with a motorcycle I bought with him. Talking to him, it sounded like 10 days to fix the piston rings on it was tight, but doable. This deadline of course came and went, and I got so frustrated with the shifting timelines (8 days to order a part, no response for 4 days to keep me in the loop), I said I was going to take my bike somewhere else. It was during this phone call on May 23 that he was telling me to calm down and that he didn't need this stress and pressure (I texted him four days after calling him on the phone because he hadn't notified me of anything). And then he refused to let me have the motorcycle until I paid him -- in cash, only -- a figure he named that increased twice in one day from $107 to $170 to $230 for little things he wanted to add on, like a towing fee that he said in a text he wouldn't charge. He also sent me a very legally-worded email that said he was asserting a lien on my bike and would register it if I didn't pay him in cash by the end of the week. When I showed up to pick up my bike, he ended the conversation with threatening that things are "going to get really hot" (direct quote) if I wrote anything about him on the internet. Tips: go somewhere else if you can. If, for whatever reason, you choose to see Marco (which is a bad idea), then get everything in writing - estimate, work order, costs, labour, what's included and what's not, etc. He chats a lot and his shop seems more of a recreational gathering space than a place where you can get your bike fixed fast. Can't recommend you take your motorcycle here. Took my KLR650 here for a valve check and to replace the inside stator cover. Brought it on a Saturday and was told to expect it early next week, which comes and goes. The next few days I keep hearing it'll be ready the following day, until we're over 10 days now. Marco tells me he will drop off the bike tomorrow at my house and that it's all done, except for a few service items.. well, tomorrow comes and goes and getting my bike back has become the running joke at home. Two weeks after I dropped it off, I get a call and Marco picks me up to take a look at the bike. The outside stator cover is still not on, the stator is hanging by a wire, the wire is frayed, and things are looking ugly. He cracked the replacement stator cover I bought because he had one of the starter gears installed backwards. I brought the repair manual I purchased as a guide, since it's a pretty decent book but it was sitting somewhere in a corner. He lost three of the original bolts for the alternator cover, but to be fair he replaced them with some of his own. After everything is assembled, the bike starts but makes an awful squealing sound. I took the bike home, not wanting to spend any more time there, opened the cover and found that one starter gear had 3 washers, and other only had 1. One dowel was also missing, and the 3 bolts on the stator had all come loose. I am starting to doubt he even checked the valves. In fairness, he didn't take my money, since he cracked the outer cover and offered to replace it when it comes in. But the service was pretty brutal. I would have much rather heard it would take ten days and wait ten days, then to constantly be told tomorrow, tomorrow, tomorrow... Looks like a decent place for scooters, but I wouldn't bring my bike back here. read more

Need to get my tire replaced for the May 24 long weekend and left it longer than I should (ie the Monday before). So I gave Marco a call and he said "come on by". So I headed over on Tuesday to drop the scoot off. I got pleasantly surprised by Marco saying he'd do it on the spot. When I first went to the place, it was in the back of a little building, and I will admit, it seemed to lack the professional look. However, the service and quality you receive is the opposite! Marco, the owner, must pass the savings of not keeping up a shiny showroom. Marco was very polite and informative. He does quality work and even fixed a couple of "little things" along the way, at no cost. Probably does it to get customers coming back, and it is working! The work I had done was quoted for a lot more at two other so-called "professional" shops, this is why I looked for a less flashy place and boy, am I glad I did! If you have a scooter, or a motorcycle, I would highly recommend this place, and he will even have it towed over for free, if he gets to do the work on it. And he is putting in a coffee/espresso bar for his customers, which I will be looking forward to the next time I go there. I have read some of the other reviews and I have no clue what their problem was, but I had a fantastic experience. You should try this place out! He even works longer hours for those of us who can't come by until after work, which is convenient for some of us. read more

Came in for job estimate a short while ago, Marco was upfront and entirely transparent as to what to expect and how the job was calculated alongside being kind enough to explain which repairs were urgent vs which were optional. As this was my first used bike, I had been over estimated at another shop, fortunately Marco was patient enough to restore my faith in my bike after fixing some wiring, a seat height adjustment and offering alternative handlebars for my smaller frame. read more

Hands down, the best place to get your scooter serviced. Marco, who runs the shop, is very knowledgeable, and will only service what needs to be done. This alone will save you a lot of money and time. And the fact that he's a really nice guy doesn't hurt either. It really is hard to find a good mechanic, let alone, one you can trust. Went in for a simple oil change and safety. Turned out the clutch pad needed replacing, no problem. What i didn't expect was for the bike to take 3 days longer than expected, a missing bolt for the clutch access and him forgetting to order the bolt because he lost it. I've never had service as bad as this, would never recommend. read more

He knows his stuff and will give the best advice for work to be done, or needed and great prices for parts and service, and if parts need to be ordered in they arrive quickly. My daughter's Kymco Super9 needed some work after the winter - wouldn't start. My last experience with the Kymco rep in Toronto did not leave me satisfied and decided to find a better shop to service our 3 scooters. I did some web research and felt BSC Moto would better serve my needs - I've owned bikes for the last 40 yrs. I was not disappointed. Marco turned out to be what I expect in a motorcycle/scooter mechanic. Easy going, personable, extremely knowledgeable when servicing scooters and full of good advice. He is also decently priced vs the shops that are all show but not much go. Great little shop off the beaten path that gives any 2 wheeled rider a great deal of satisfaction. Try it. I first met Marco in BWV before he opened his shop on Scarlett. I had just purchased my MP-3 400 and needed someone to look at the brakes. Went to see him and he did the check while I waited and did not charge me. I've been back a few times for various things and have found the work is done well at a fair price. This year I pulled the bike out of the garage late in the season. It was covered in dust. I took it in for service (belt/rollers/hydraulic fluid check) which took a couple of days longer than anticipated. I was fine with that.
