Me being excited and anxious after a couple of week I drove back up to check on the progress of the bike and while sitting speaking with Alex, my salesman, I noticed a new 2026 Harley Trike just off to my left. Before I left I ended up trading the Harley I had bought in on this new Trike. Alex from the day I first spoke with him, he was very welcoming, Polite, and knowledgeable about all the bikes there. He answered all of my questions very clearly, gave me all the space I needed to look around. This was my first time in a Harley Dealers Shop. It was truly an amazing experience. What do you know - they have the types of coated screws, wires and clips that I need, and prices are lower than Canadian Tire. The Partsource logo always made me think it was some cheap, discount shop from the 80s, but clearly I was mistaken as they carry the brands and materials I've been using for maintenance. They downside is that don't quite stock the selection that Canadian Tire does (older paint colours, tacky aftermarket trinkets, general tool sets).. but that's a minor inconvenience for gear heads considering the savings. Staff are friendly and are knowledgeable about their products. Im sorry but I live over 7 hours away from this location and I have to pay for the shopping back to them plus have them test it without my money back even though I have proof from a mechanic it is the part bought from them that is defective and that same person is just speaking about how they have never had a defective part before and they need to see it to believe it. I shipped the part back to them received confirmation it arrived there and this same person is now stating that they never got it and I have to deal with the shipping company and they can not provide me my money back. They said…read moresince I need to replace front wheel bearings, might as well change the whole assembly.After all said and done, I got my car keys after 2.3 hours of labor(5 hours waiting total) I started my car. to my surprise all dash lights are on. they took it back in and admitted that they broke the ABS sensors so it was also replaced by them. ABS light is on again now and they said it was not their fault. I tried to ask, if there is something they can do since Nov. 22 I just paid 800$. and for them to say that I have to pay another possible-2-hours-diagnostics 95$ / hour is just a little too much. Quite frankly, I do understand that it is still a business. However, if business provides customer satisfaction which leads to further referrals and I believe that I cannot say that for Japan Auto parts / Transmission Depot. I tried to ask if I can speak to the owner (Bruce) and ask if he can help out. But he was either not present or the staff does not want me to speak to him. Summary : paid 800$ for whole hub assembly that could have been avoided just by replacing the wheel bearings alone. They broke (and admit) that they broke my ABS sensor which they replaced (improperly). Which made them bring my car back in all in the same day. in less than a month my car have ABS problem again (code 1142), and for them to say it is not their fault and it not being related to what they fixed may be true. But at the same time with the track record they provided it is just hard to trust them.
