    New donut shop!
    Nate M.

NWA? - Nope, this isn't a secretly run donut shop that Dr. Dre and Ice Cube are invested in; it's just a small-town mom and pop business with a gangsta sounding name. I recently went to Bentonville, Arkansas for work and was able to explore the city during my last day there. I had probably driven by the NWA Donut shop about five times at this point, and was really intrigued by the name and the random location. I mean it's settled-in all by itself in a vacant strip mall, bookended with a dive bar and a juice/yoga studio, what a country! I stopped in and instantly felt like Marty McFly right before he asked for a "Pepsi Free" in that Hill Valley malt shop. With all eyes on me, I made my way to counter and was greeted by a very sweet old lady and started ordering donuts. I went with a classic pink frosting donut, two old fashioned, one with chocolate and one blueberry, a bear claw, and a Kolache with a jalapeno sausage inside. The donuts were good, but they could have sat in the fryer for at least another minute. When keepin' it real with NWA you must try the Blueberry Old Fashioned and the Bear Claw, soft, sweet and melt in your mouth good. The Pink Frosted donut was very doughy and the Chocolate Old Fashioned tasted a little "different", maybe it was the chocolate they used? The Kolache was great, the flaky dough that surrounded the store bought sausage was awesome, buttery and super soft. I could have eaten just bread this minus the nitrate-ciscle. I was teetering on a 3-star review originally for this place, but the customer service was on point and they give out free donut holes with every order. Plus, when you're only paying about $.75 per donut the small hiccups didn't really bother me. By the way... NWA = NorthWest Arkansas. The more you know.

This place was not open at it's designated time of 6am. Drove across town to get there and the place was dark with no movement.

When I asked a simple question about what made the fries accompanying the ribeye "spicy," our server responded with a series of questions rather than a straightforward answer, including asking if I had issues with nightshades and what level of heat I tolerate on the Scoville scale. The interaction felt unnecessarily complicated and somewhat condescending. After checking with the kitchen, she said the fries could be made without the spice, so I ordered the dish. However, she then informed me that the ribeye itself had a chili rub, requiring another trip to the kitchen. While they ultimately said it could be prepared without the rub, I was told it would significantly delay the order. When the steak finally arrived, I was disappointed with the amount of fat on it, much more than the typical marbled ribeye. Overall, while the ambiance was enjoyable, the service created friction in what should have been a simple ordering process. A more direct and customer-friendly approach would have made a big difference. The F&B manager reached out to me through my Open Table information which I respected however, we don't plan on returning.

We had nice and attentive service. I ordered the Santa Monica club, which is actually a wrap. But was delicious and was able to swap out my side of fries for the Esquites which were also good. My husband ordered the pork tacos with black beans and rice, also delicious. Very pleased with this choice. And it's in a lovely setting right on the town square.

Literally across the street from the very first Walmart (Walton's), and whether you love 'em or hate 'em, it's pretty cool history. The food, you ask? Fabulous!!! The chips were homemade and crispy, with the house salsa being fabulous, we got their HOT salsa as well, which was super flavorful, but certainly not hot. Of course we started with Margaritas (The Hollywood), which infused pineapple into the drink and I could have downed 5. Had to drive back to the hotel, so one was sufficient. Yum! I had the Curry Chicken Burrito... what???! Curry in a burrito?? Incredible!! My compadre had some sort of chicken tostada thing that was also a hit. The ambience was upscale modern, but not too flashy with plenty of room between the tables. A gigantic thanks to Rosa for turning the 4.5 stars into 5! She was friendly, funny and efficient with a smile that brightened the night! Highly recommended if you are in Bentonville, Arkansas! Cheers

My husband I decided to stop in for a quick dinner on a Wednesday night. The service at the register was quite good, friendly and helpful. The restaurant had possibly four other tables occupied. The crepes had generous portions of chicken and that was nice. However, the chicken was dry. So dry. The Thai sauce was nonexistent. My husband went to the counter, and told them the Thai sauce seemed very lacking. The response was we will get you some sauce, that will be an additional $1.50. I heard my husband laugh from across the restaurant. But by golly he gave them that $1.50. We shared the small serving of sauce, bussed our table and left shaking our heads
