If you want to have champagne, a bump of caviar, and feel cute, Daydreamer is the place. It's low key and you ca bring your dog!

You'll daydreaming with their garden scape outdoor seating. Nice cocktails and a friendly crowd of people come through here.

This was such a cute cocktail spot! It feels tucked away from the rest of the street because of all the plants. There's plenty of seating in the front, inside, and backyard. The staff is also super sweet - the bouncer was giving us great recommendations on places to check out in Austin. We really enjoyed our drinks. They were both tasty and really pretty. The frozen aperol spritz was especially refreshing.

What a cute bar! I came here for a drink on my friends birthday and we had a good experience overall. The bar itself is beautiful and has some nice indoor and outdoor seating. However, I do think the cocktails are a bit expensive and the bartender was not particularly friendly. Overall I would come back, but hopefully next time I have a more positive experience.

Daydreamer was on my to try list and I was in the area and stopped by. I love the openness of the space but everything else was just ok. A little pricey for what you get in my opinion. The drink was just OK and so was the staff. Nothing awful just not memorable ‍

Yummy cocktail bar! The frozen Aperol spritz was sweet and a fun twist on the classic. The naked lunch cocktail was great and well balanced. Fun music and good bartenders, nice to have both the indoor and outdoor areas

Great spot for a pre dinner drink! The dirty martini was phenomenal- my only wish that they had blue cheese stuffed olives! Patio had nice fans so it was cool in this summer heat! Great vibes all around!

Daydreamer isn't all aesthetic. In addition to the cute interior and great outdoor patios in the front and back, they also serve really refreshing, high quality cocktails. I tried the Toymaker and really enjoyed it. I reminded me of a lightweight, refreshing old fashioned. I sat at the bar. I was disappointed in the lack of serve provided by the team. I felt like after the first drink, I was pretty much ignored. There were a bunch of people working the bar too. That was disappointing. Service was definitely 3/5.

We went here for a friends birthday and one of our last stops. Decor was nice place APPEARED inviting however The door staff and bartenders weren't friendly and all seemed as if they could care less on our experience there, drinks were on the expensive side and not great. It was also extremely hot and humid Inside even though there wasn't a lot of people in there. It's was quite a hot evening and it was almost cooler outside then it was Inside. I don't think I'll be back.

This is probably my top 3 favorite bars in East Austin. The ambiance is very dreamy and nice with three locations to enjoy a drink at - the front yard, the bar inside and the backyard (food truck also available!). It's dog friendly which I love and they always have the best drinks. I love it during holiday times because the decorations are so cute! I think this is a great place to start or end the night.

Another great addition to E. 6th, Daydreamer is an ethereal cocktail bar that feels inviting and whimsical. With a touch of Palm Springs and Tulum within their interior, this chapel like bar has every beverage you can think of. Don't think of this as a dark low-lit bar, but more of a community space to connect over drinks (and pizza). From frozen cockies (love a real housewife reference) to a classic old fashioned, or martini service with a caviar bump -- Daydream has you covered. The drinks are flowing and there is so much seating and standing room, but if you gravitate to the outdoors, enjoy their outdoor seating out front and in the back. This place is so welcoming and has plenty of photo ops. When you're ready for a nosh, head back to the semi-permanent spot of allday and grab their delicious pizza. I can't rave enough about Daydreamer and will be back!

Came again for a birthday party. Drinks: still SO strong, but made very well! Staff: still super helpful, very willing to answer questions. Ambiance: still very laid back and casual; being here late (7:30-8pm) demonstrated it's a low light place, but not overly romantic - just low key! Also went to the bathroom here - omg the bathrooms are SUPER nice and clean, very cute too!! Wasn't expecting that. This is a great bar - again just be mindful some of their drinks are SUUUPER strong. Ask the bartender for details before you order, they'll give you the skinny!

This patio bar in the heart of Sixth Street is fantastic. When you walk in it's like being transported to another place. I really feel like it could be anywhere from Miami or a high-end beach resort in France. Clean, modern design inside and out with an amazing vibe. People from all walks of life and age groups (21 & up). Mixologists at the top of their game. The drinks here are no joke. Employees who seem like one big happy family and who really want to be there. This is one of those places to bring friends visiting from out of town. Truly is like a daydream.

I felt the vibe instantly, like as soon as I put one foot in the door. Magical, sophisticated, worldly, wonderful and more were the feelings that spontaneously hit me. The dark and elegant decor, lighting, design, & layout made me feel as though I were in a high-end Tokyo cocktail lounge. The front room as I mentioned is an intimate bar and lounge area with artwork adorning the walls. It's a modern, minimalist, and sleek space. The artwork is ever-changing (every couple of months or so) and the cocktail menu changes right long with it. Note: artwork is available for purchase. What an absolutely glorious way of combining different mediums (liquid art vs physical art). The craft cocktails & mocktails are the epitome of works of art. I've had great cocktails and mocktails elsewhere but honestly I'd be hard pressed to find anything on this level. You're taken into an entirely different realm just watching the genius of mixologists. It's mesmerizing watching them hone their craft. In the back of the lounge is an enclave of eclectic art and other pieces that then leads you to Konbini, the sushi bar. It's an industrial, warehouse vibe with a long counter that screams hip, Tokyo inspired, late-night eatery. Service is impeccable and welcoming at this cosmopolitan venue. It's truly an amazing experience.

The bartender claimed I was drunk and cut me off anyway. I was at the bar talking to a girl while waiting to get a drink (the wait was long because the service is very slow, despite the bar not being very busy at all). She was clearly into me, and the bartender kept jumping in trying to talk to her too (instead of doing his job making drinks). He was doing all sorts of things to try and flirt with her and make her laugh: pulling out and showing her buckets of pre mixed cocktails, running and sliding under the bar, etc. She was engaging with both of us , and right in the middle of that, I get cut off out of nowhere. No explanation other than claiming I looked drunk, which I very clearly wasn't. It felt very clear what was going on--he wanted me out of the way. I left and asked the bouncer on my way out if I seemed drunk. This was literally two minutes later. He said no, not at all, and asked me why I would even ask that. I then told him exactly what happened and asked him to let the owner or whoever was in charge know about this extremely unprofessional conduct so they can discipline the bartender. His response was that the bartender has discretion to cut anyone off, and let me know the bartender is supposedly married so he couldn't have been flirting with any of the customers. Well, sounds like his logic is flawed--not only COULD he flirt with his customers, he WAS, and was therefore cheating. I hope his wife finds out. This is perfectly representative of Austin customer service lately and not normal in other places. I was in Tampa for an entire month earlier this year and this would've been unthinkable there. I'm not coming back.

But I should know not to get my hopes up... Storytime... We had a resy for 8 at 9:45 for a birthday, we arrived at 9:45 there was no clear spot to check in, we asked around and they pointed us to the water station by the entry. After finally being greeted, we were told our section wasn't ready, the other party hadn't left yet. The server / hostess seemed frazzled and kept running around trying to get us a section and talking to people about leaving. We stood there waiting for about 30 minutes. Then we were finally seated in a section barely big enough for 6, we were crammed in like sardines, sweatin. We asked the parties next to us if they could push over a bit so we all could fit, luckily they were friendly and accommodating. We were greeted not too long after being seated, Our order was taken by the first server, It took about 30 minutes for drinks and food to start to come out. The birthday girl ordered a hookah and it took an hour and a half for it to come out. Then we were not checked on for about an hour, We finally ordered more drinks and then we never received them, We asked three different servers and were told several times that they were taking care of it and it was never taken care of, We left at 1:15 without ever getting our additional orders. One of the servers told us that the bar was crazy busy and that they were probably making our drinks and people at the bar were just taking them. So chaotic. We were finally helped by Heaven and Summer at the end around 1:00 a.m. when we asked to pay for our tab. Of course the tab was all wrong because it had all of the drinks we ordered that we never received. Again, chaotic. I felt bad for the birthday girl because she was really excited about being there for the first time with all of us and the experience was subpar at best. I will say, the best part was the DJ, HellaYella. And the jerk lamb chops. Also, If and I mean if, We ever go back, We will not reserve a section like that and we will get our drinks at the front bar and sit out on the nice patio. We'll see.
