Happiness is walking into a clean house after Alida's Custom Cleaning Service has been there…read moreworking their magic! Alida's 2 person crew came to my house and performed a 4 hour deep clean on the whole place. The showers sparkle, the dark questionable stains permeating my oven have miraculously disappeared, the floor is smooth and shows no signs of the grime and dust the humans who inhabit the place track in from the great outdoors! The layer of dust that usually provides a...er...'protective layer' on our furniture and electronics has all been removed (who knew that wood could actually gleam!) The air smells fresh without any traces of chemicals, and I fear I will never be satisfied with the halfhearted efforts of my teenager cleaning the bathroom again! The cleaning technicians showed up promptly at the scheduled time and brought all their own supplies. After a quick walk through to show them the house they quickly and efficiently got right to work. I had errands to run and felt completely comfortable leaving them there to do the cleaning while I was gone. (Plus, this way, I was able to come home and experience the magical feeling of having the 'cleaning fairy' visit in my absence- a joy only my husband has been able to experience in the past!) It was easy to schedule my cleaning time with Alida, and she was very prompt in her response. She was very professional and after a few questions was able to ascertain the service I needed and give me a price. They were very reasonable, and well worth the cost. I will definitely be using Alida's Cleaning Service in the future, and will comfortable recommend her to friends!

I booked Superior for a move out clan in Beaverton, based on their competitive pricing. Most places…read morechange you an extra fee for move out cleaning and/or nickel and dime you for each task required by the apartment mangers like cleaning the inside of the fridge and stove, baseboards, etc. I called on Monday and was able to get an appointment for Wednesday. Now for the appointment...the crew arrived nearly 2 hours after my scheduled appointment, which was really frustrating. Apparently Stella booked the crew for a house in Lake O and asked if I could wait a couple of hours until they finished. "Uh...no! I have an appointment." When the crew arrived, the lead cleaner made a big stink to Stella (by phone) about all of the work that needed to get done in the time allotted. I wanted them to focus on the 3 bathrooms and kitchen, and I was prepared to do the rest myself. I took a "do what you can do in 1 1/2 to 2 hours" approach since I was trying to save money, and I cleaned along side them to get the rest done. They did a good job with cleaning the areas that I designated. I noticed that the stubborn area above the stove was not cleaned, and the lead cleaner proclaimed that they tried, but it couldn't be cleaned. So I took a scrubber pad, used some elbow grease and the stains started to disappear. So she tried again and removed most of the muck. In all, I think Superior may be a good company, but the staff do have some communication issues. (I do understand a little bit of Spanish, so I had sense of what they were complaining about to Stella and amongst themselves.) The crew was nice to me. They gave me a ride up the road so that I wouldn't have to walk a mile to the bus stop. I just think they were annoyed with the scheduling mix up and hadn't been told ahead of time what I needed them to get done in the slotted time. I am used to cleaners working at a faster pace than they worked, so maybe I set my expectations too high.

Kara arrived ready to go - super friendly, bubbly, and COVID safe. We went over what my very basic expectations were as a first time house cleaning user and then we took the dogs and left - mostly because I think I would be awkward, not her. I got home and man, I don't even want to cook dinner because it's so clean and refreshing and beautiful. The communication, from start to finish, was quick, honest, and very direct - I wasn't left with any questions. Kara is spectacular and I would 100% recommend her and Em-Maculate Cleaning for your needs. I look forward to making this a regular part of my "treat yourself" routine!

Everything the man. Leaned was amazing, the woman did not do a very good job, they ended up sending the man back to redo what she had done. We were very happy with him, he went above and beyond. We liked him so much that we didn't make an issue of him damaging our laminate flooring using soaking wet mop. Apparently he left the company and they didn't notify us. They sent out some guy we didn't know while my wife was home alone. She wouldn't let him in. When my wife called Emily, she sent her to VM. She sent a text back. She said that she had tried to contact us but didn't hear back. The only contact we got was an email that she wanted to change days. She asked for a reply if the change was okay with us. It was not so we did not reply. Also, during the time we had service from Em-Maculate Cleaning Service the price changed from hourly to fixed and the price increased without notification. When my wife tried to work things out with Emily directly she said we were too difficult as customers and she was dropping us. Who knew that asking for clear communication was "demanding".

I had paid for a deep clean but even from a general cleaning perspective it was a mess- especially the floor. Mind you I live in a fairly small 600 something square foot apartment. It was unfortunate, I wanted to be able to have peace of mind and have one thing off my plate but I still had to sweep and mop again and it was also emotional labor to have to keep calling and providing evidence. They did try to make it right by wanting to send cleaners later that day but the timing didn't work out with work and guests coming the next day.
