However, my shellac was just slightly better than the one I had at another more low end place, two weeks ago, but cost twice as much for the same service: removal, manicure and shellac. The shellac on a couple of nails wasn't nicely shaped despite paying for a manicure too. The shellac was painted over the cuticle in a couple of spots. The shellac started peeling on three nails after 1.5 weeks. I had a shellac done in downtown Vancouver for 2/3 of the price that neatly lasted 3 weeks. Giving it a 3 because the service and atmosphere was great but not the nail job.

She actually cut my skin, as usually they speak in Chinese between them, she did not reply and kept saying okay okay. The next I had a big infection( fungus) I took antibiotic pills and cream. my thumb lost its original nai. Having your busiest time doesn't mean being rude and unprofessional to your customers. The receptionist was just so rude about it . It's funny how when it's the customer that can't make it they charge them a penalty fee if he didn't warn them 24h in advance, but when they call you not even an hour to cancel your massage they don't take ownership for it . Then I found this place and all the reviews were great, which made me a little suspicious. However, I discovered that these reviews for here were true. This is a no games, no funny-business place. Anna was my masseuse and did a fantastic job. She was not only respectful and professional but her technique was incredible. This was the best massage I've had in a long time. Additionally, the receptionist was sweet and friendly, and the place was very clean. I will definitely return if I'm ever in Ottawa. Enjoy!

On each occasion, we arrive surprised by the location of this spa, then remember we have been there before, and become impressed by the fact that they are doing well based on their rather challenging location. Then we go in for our services and are reminded why they are doing so well - the practitioners are great! Each experience we have had here has been delightful: we are welcomed with a drink, the front staff are all very polite and friendly, and the practitioners are very professional. We have had pedicures, body treatments, and massages, and we have left each time feeling very pleased. The only reason we are not regulars, is the location. For us, it's on the opposite end of town, it requires a rather awkward u-turn to get into the mall, and while we are super pleased with the services, the actual spa space could use a bit of a facelift (but that's minor in the grand scheme of things).

The service is always friendly, courteous, and professional. I have never had a bad experience here and I've been coming since it's soft opening in December, 2016. Sis2 has the widest range of nail polish colors I have seen in any salon. They use a fabulous Asian brand and a terrific technique to remove shellac polish. I typically come for the nail services, but I have had a massage as well. It was quite good. You cannot beat this place for it's convenient location and hours, and the prices are excellent. I will never go to any other salon in Ottawa.

They bounce me around from one nail tech to another, and they do not all the same level of experience. My most recent experience might have been my last, I received a gel overlay with Shellac and usually it is no issue getting in and out in an hour. Since the tech took longer than expected to remove the last colour and shape my nails, she wasnt able to give me a proper gel overlay since I had to be out in an hour and 20 min. About 20 minutes into the appointment I had to mention that I had another appointment, I thought I gave myself more than enough time (I am seasoned at getting my nails done so I expected the typical hour appointment). With the time she spent shaping my nails, I would have expected them to be better shaped but they were not straight and were not the almond shape I requested. Since we couldnt complete the gel overlay properly the shellac colour did not go on properly and it is uneven and thick. As a loyal customer, I would have expected better service and better quality.
