When I called to understand why, they refused to discuss it and simply hung up on me. I found the customer service to be unprofessional and disrespectful. If a business chooses to cancel a confirmed appointment, the least they can do is explain the reason politely instead of refusing to communicate. Each treatment is supposed to take 30 minutes, so I was expecting to be there for 1.5 hours. I was in and out in less than half-an-hour for the whole thing. The aesthetician wasn't even trying. For instance, you need to apply pressure for microdermabrasian to be effective. It felt like she tapped my face with an emery board a few times.

My new electrologist (and aesthetician of color) had to save my skin from Amy's improper yanking which broke so many hairs halfway underneath the skin that caused so many ingrown bumps that stayed for weeks! When I told Amy, she said this was normal. Of course it is not. What's worse, some technicians think just because your hair is coarse you have to up the probe's intensity so ridiculously high. I have a high pain tolerance but her treatments were so painful. Electrolysis should not that unbearably painful. Amy doesn't seem to be very inexperienced, especially for people with dark skintones and/or thicker hair. Please beware!

The aesthetician was able to get out all of the big black heads , which is all I cleared about. My nose had ton of blackheads and now it's super smooth. I'm docking points for hygienic practices overall. The blankets and the sheets between clients don't get changed. I don't think that's clean. The room itself also had a smell when I walked in but not sure what it was. I did get a discount for first time customer. One hour was $100, not including tax and tip.
