I called in advance to make an appointment and walked in 10 minutes before my appointment time. When I stepped inside the business, there was no one at the reception desk there, while two Asian women were sitting on the couch, staring at me curiously without saying a word as if they were completely surprised by my presence. No "Hello", "May I help you?"...nothing. When I told them I was the one with the 2:30 appointment, they looked at me as if they had no clue of what I said leaving me feel quite uncomfortable and awkward. They also barely speak English. I could have left then and there but really wanted some massage so I stayed and told them the duration I wanted the massage for, and was told that I had to pay in advance. An advance full payment for massage? Is this a normal practice? Anyway, when I tried to pay with my credit card, I was told to pay in cash because the credit card device was malfunctioning. I finally got fed up and left for another spa nearby (which I really liked). I will never come back to this spa ever again. Unprofessional, ignorant of customer service, worst spa ever.

I wanted a 90 min massage which was $90, thought it was odd that I had to pay for this BEFORE the service but I still did it. Massage was fine. When I went out to leave I had cash in my hand for a tip, I also then had my credit card receipt to sign. I proceeded to hand the women that did my massage the cash, she then asked me how much cash it was...which it was a $20 tip. She then told me that she needed more for a tip. This really made me upset! They also have a sign clearly posted that they aren't even allowed to ask for tips! She then asked me something like "was the massage not good?" I then said "yes, it was fine and that's why I tipped you 20%." I then noted on my credit card receipt that the minimum amount they show for a tip is 25% and it goes up from that. CRAZY!! She told me I needed to give her at least a 35% tip. I told her no way and that I would not be returning. A tip is just that, something extra. Upon returning home I read the reviews and saw that I have not been the only to experience this. Paying for a service before its received is already wrong. Sad when you want to support local and are treated like this.

Wasn't much of a foot massage at all. After the massage they asked if we wanted to make it a full body massage for a little bit more I said why not. My gf back has been acting up. As they are prepping us, someone else walks in, and they proceed to tell us that now they will be doing our full body massages one at a time as they attend to the person/people who just walked in. So now our 1 hour massage turned into being there 1.5 hours after they sold us on extending our massages. The massages were terrible and painful. The next day my gf had bruises all over her body and my shoulders were more messed up than when I got there. I'm convinced the lady who gave us massages was not trained or had no idea what she was doing. One side of my body was massaged completely different than the other like she was winging it. I 100% do not recommend to anyone! If I were you I would stay far away from this place! Not to mention I got charged an additional fee both times that I paid with my cc even though it was for the same service for an additional $10!
