I regularly get 'muscle knots'. Unless I get deep tissue massage, my neck and shoulders stay knotted and painful. This is Asian massage. It's the only kind of massage that helps me. It's much deeper and more therapeutic than regular massage. Sometimes I go for deep tissue work and other times I go for more of a relaxation massage. They don't speak much English but they know enough that you can communicate this. I just say "too hard" or ask for "harder". They have chair massage, table massage, or a foot massage. There's a service menu at the counter if you want to mix and match. I get the full body 1-2X a month, and go for a 'tune-up' for just $20 in-between. For the table massage, you undress to your undies. They'll pull them down to work on your buttocks. This is common practice in professional Asian massage. It's an important muscle to get loosened, but if you don't want touched there- just tell them. The price is $1 a minute. They're typically not too busy, so you should be seen within 60 minutes at most. Usually I am seen immediately. If they're in a room doing a massage, you can sign in at the desk, then go shopping if you want-- since it's located inside Indian Mound Mall (near Elderbeerman before it closed. Use Mall entrance beside Donato's Pizza). I tip $20 for an hour since it's hard labor, and they probably don't make much money. Right now they've got a man named Tony and a woman named Mindy.
