She will NOT push you for the upsale just to get you to spend money on the $100 lotion or package. She is customer oriented and cares about every person who walks into her salon. Eternal Tan has a bed for everyone's skin type (my personal fav: the prestige... Air conditioned!!!). She also has this AMAZING new spray tan that is HEATED and dries you after each spray! And you can get a clear spray (so no more worry about the bronzed getting on clothes for the first 12 hours). The best part.... More natural color than the regular Versa Spa and NO MORE SPRAY TAN SMELL!!! Love it!!! Plus it's the cleanest tanning salon I've ever been to. You can see the pride of the ownership throughout the whole salon. She also runs AMAZING sales several times a year around holidays on lotions, packages, and spray tanning. Consumer Beware!!!!!!!!!!! New Beginnings Hair Design…read moretotally ruined my sister's hair in addition to using bait and switch pricing tactics. Initial quote was $110.00 for highlights and an eyebrow wax. By the end the bill had escalated to $245.00 plus tip!!!!! To be clear about expectations the stylist, "Alexis" was provided a photo of the last time her hair was done. Photos are attached as a picture is worth a million words. The salon manager is "Teri" and she has yet to resolve the overbilling situation in its entirety. She wants to assess an additional charge to "Fix" her hair. What?????????? She also was supposed to call the following day to remedy the situation. And now the latest is she will call on Wednesday???? Again what???????

I went on a half price Sunday and the bed shut down because it was too hot. So I was told I had to…read moresave the minutes and use them the next time I went tanning. I was not offered to use the other bed to finish tanning. Then I went a month later to use the remaining minutes but I was told by the same employee I could not use them because it was half price Sunday and that I would have to come in on another day. I was already inconvenienced the first time because I did not get to use all my time I paid for and then I was being told to use the time I had to be inconvenienced again. I asked to speak with the manager and she was not available, the employee told me they would ask Melissa the owner to call me tomorrow when she was in. She didnt call me, according to her, the employee did not mention the issue to her. When I explained what happened the owner stated the minutes could just be used as a 5 minute tan only and additional minutes could not be added unless you would buy points which I never have bought because I just buy minutes. I explained that if this is their policy they should have it posted so people are aware of the rules but then I was told it is not a policy. I was being yelled at that she did not have to get reamed at for 4 minutes. I told her I was not the one yelling that she was yelling. She also put in that as a customer I dont even pay as a regular customer because I just go on half price Sundays. She went on saying she was thinking about getting rid of half price Sundays because they are too busy and cause the beds to shut down when they are overheated. She also explained that customers get upset when they close on Sundays for Holidays, I was not sure how this applied to me as I was not saying anything about that. She said she was not trying to make excuses for the employees but that that employee was a thorn in her side and due to family she could not fire them. Then she went on a rant and gave very unprofessional excuses for why that particular employee handled it poorly. In the end she said she would credit the 4 minutes of money back to my account but she never even asked my name and she hung up on me. I would say the employee learned their customer service skills from the owner. If they have policies the customers should be aware of before spending their money there they should be notified of those policies. When there is an issue it should be handled more professionally and courteously.
