This is by far the cleanest medical facility that I've been to since the pandemic. Furthermore, all the staff had on masks, face shields, and PPE garments over their clothes. The staff are friendly and smiled. I'd recommend Dr. Chip for his has patience with the children and get to know them which is great. This is not to say that he doesn't get to know his adult patients because he does. They know how to process insurance and they handle appointments very well (for rescheduling calling the office works better than online communication). Except for a long wait at one time while another patient was brought in and processed (not repeated) and a dental mistake by a trainee that was promptly remedied by Dr Shan I have had no other problems with this dentist over a period of many years. Dr Shan doesn't push for unnecessary dental work and she routinely takes x-rays to make proper diagnosis. She always explains what she observes and what she recommends with me. Dr Shan may not be a smooth talker but she is a competent and honest dentist and that is what a patient primarily needs. I recently left town and have to find a new dentist but dental businesses that are run as well as Glenside are hard to come by. I expect to find it hard to replace Glenside Dental.

The Doctor flat out refused to give me a referral to a specialist after telling me that I needed to see one at my last visit months ago. He also refused to give me any information on other offices that will take my insurance when I voiced my frustrations. I will be taking my business elsewhere.

My crown popped off and I looked around for anyone on Delta Dental... I called and they set up a appointment for 45 minutes later. Just enough time to fill out easy online new patient forms... showed up and was created by the cutest most polite puppy. The receptionist was excellent and I was checked in quickly. Waited less than 10 minutes and they brought me in. Great people skills and super fast. They had been able to pull up all my records and were able to even do xrays with no stress. Very high tech. Super quick work and my crown is back on. Great prices as well. Side funny... I was wearing crocs and they pointed out that I could go over to the "sugar shack" to get a free donut... wonderfully nice and great people!!! She just wanted the abscess taken care of. They tried to make her get filling. She said no, she was already in too much pain. The dentist acknowledged the infection, but refused to do anything about it. Refused to even give her antibiotics. We spent 3 hours the next day at Med Express. That Dr. took ten seconds to tell her she needed antibiotics. I have NEVER in 59 years even heard of a Dr who refused to give antibiotics to someone with an infection.
