I came here for two routine exams and teeth cleanings based on a recommendation from a neighbor who…read morehappens to be a dental sales rep and had a horrible experience. This practice has poor bed side manner and is designed to squeeze every dollar that they can out of you. I do not recommend this practice to anyone seeking care. Setting up appointments was rather simple and the office was technology forward, clean, bright and new. The building was recently renovated and they have a large parking lot. However, it was obvious that behind their fancy facade lies the drive to pad their bottom line. My first check up here was pretty comprehensive with all the x-rays being taken and teeth properly scaled. This took approximately 45 minutes into the hour long appointment. The hygienist spent a good 10 minutes trying to explain for me why I should pay for the up charge for fluoride even though it already covered under my insurance plan. The hygienist and dentist spent the last 20 minutes of my appointment creating a sense of urgency telling me to prevent my teeth from cracking that I needed to buy from them a mouth guard, electric tooth brushes, teeth whitening, etc all of which I get for free from my dental sales rep neighbor. My second appointment consisted of a longer sales pitch than actual care. My second cleaning here with the same tech didn't even last all of 10 minutes, which is inadequate to receive a proper scaling done, she didn't even floss my teeth. I received another repeated lecture regarding why an up charge for the fluoride was highly recommended even though it was already covered by insurance. Followed by another 20 minutes berating me on why I did not want to proceed with making an mouth guard and signing up for their teeth whitening treatments. I've never had any issues with my teeth and I cannot imagine how this practice would try and extort me if I had actually had an issue with my teeth. This has left a bad taste in my mouth and I cannot recommend anyone come to this practice.

I had a hole in my tooth that I've been obsessing over for 2 years. It ended up being from a fallen out filling and a cavity was building in it. No other issues. I was so relieved. In my first visit I had x-rays and a cleaning and a few days later got the cavity fixed. This was a few months ago and I'm just getting around to reviewing now. It was an exceedingly positive experience.

I've been bringing my little one to this hospital for their feeding program since the last two…read moreweeks of December 2019. They have been nothing but great! I've been very fortunate to land a feeding slot quicker than I expected for my little man. We met with one of their nurses for the second part of the evaluation and explained what they were doing for each test. Not only that but she answered all questions that we had. Afterward, they told us that we were going to get contacted on the next available feeding therapist and their available schedule. I'm not going to lie, I was a devasted that we were not going to schedule that moment at the hospital but was completely shocked at how fast the turnaround time was when they contacted me (that afternoon) of the next available time slot we could initially start our feeding therapy sessions. The first week of Jan 2020! Since then, we have been assigned to one feeding therapist and she has been FANTASTIC! We meet with her one a weekly bases and it has been another helpful and informative therapy session added onto my son's list of therapy sessions. They really are great at their job and I cannot thank them enough for helping me and families facing these struggles. My son has only gone through 3 sessions and he has improved so much in his chewing abilities. This program was through the VCU feeding program and sent us over to this location for their feeding program. For the short amount of sessions, I've brought my little one to already, I am so thankful for this program. Keep up the awesome work!!! Oh and the front desk guys (actually ladies) that we've encountered have been freaking awesome as well. I really enjoy and appreciate the positive attitude that they have for us who have came to this location early in the morning and later afternoon. Thank you!
