He even offered to come get us if the dogs got tired of being on the boards or it wasn't working out. It worked out great, we had a wonderful time! Mind you I have medical conditions I do not smoke or drink alcohol. I was simply judged by my looks I felt and they were just so rude. They kept my big deposit and left us stranded. Great communication too. We showed up at Bay Area Park at our designated time (we had decided on 2pm). The boats were waiting and ready on the dock along with paddles and life jackets. We were offered a dry bag, but we brought our own. We were also given two bottles of water for the trip and loaned a map of the Bayou. We accidentally brought home the map. I need to return that to them. Anyway.... With a very easy launch, we were on the water and paddling. The bayou was low that day but there were no issues. Did you know there are bald eagles out there? We saw alligators but they kept their distance and so did we. However, we did stop to watch when two alligators got in a fight! Tails were in the air, big splashes... It was crazy. I've never seen anything like it and we got a front row seat. Absolutely amazing, y'all! I loved seeing all of the different birds. The osprey were so cool. And there were fish jumping out of the water near our boats. Just a surreal experience. Y'all gotta try Pinky's. Prices are reasonable and they're just super nice people. The experience on the bayou was so incredible, we're already planning to get back out there as soon as the weather clears up.

In my opinion and based on my vast experience, terrible! The lesson experience with her, as a…read morejunior rider was awful, best described as demoralizing, depressing and humiliating. Her treatment of a beloved first horse, I had to sell during hard times, absolutely cruel, unnecessary and unforgivable. Why then did I sell to her, given my experience as a junior? I didn't. The trainer I used at the time, didn't tell me he had sold my horse to her until after he completed the deal and she hauled the horse away. I would NEVER have approved the sale. It leaves me teary-eyed DECADES later. She ran him into the ground as a lesson horse; then, when he became unsound...I know he suffered and died in a hellish place, aka slaughter house, with a check sent to her afterwards. My heart scarred forever! Now, as a much acclaimed, highly skilled rider who has logged many positive experiences with top-tier trainers in three states, I can only reflect back on what a mistake it was to ever step into the arena with her. Having trained in THREE different states over the course of DECADES, in my opinion and based on my experiences, I can say she is by far the worst on many levels. Furthermore, while some may say, "She's been in business for a while." The truth is most people don't carefully thoroughly vet their horse trainer/teacher choice. There's a certain assumption that ALL horse professionals are trustworthy, humane, kind and caring. Nope. There's a profit to be made from that naive mindset. Shop around for lessons, horse training and horses.

The People You make a few friends simply walking the trail daily. You also find a few annoying fellows. The annoying fellows are typically the skateboarders and the bike riders. Many do not use the proper trail etiquette. It is not enough to stop going, so you get use to them and try to avoid them on your own. The Scenery It is absolutely gorgeous scenery. I large portion of the Sugar Land trail is completely covered with trees and makes walking much nicer in the summer. You also have Oyster Creek Park on the trail which provides a great backdrop for picture taking. The Length This is a long trail and I would map it on Google before attempting to walk it. We walk from our home and it is 4.1 miles from our home, to the trail, through the trail and back home. I recommend anyone living in Missouri City or Sugar Land to walk the trail one time. I would give it 5 stars but a few fellows make it a 4 star.
