I don't need to say a lot because their delicious menu speaks for itself. Very pleasant environment inside and extremely satisfying breakfast experience. Their coffee is delicious and they have a good sized menu if you are craving something new! read more

This place is one of my new favorites in the area. The staff was so nice! The food was delicious, they had a great children's menu, and we even left with some adorable kids sized mugs and a slice of pie. Will be back for sure! read more

I would give it 0 stars if i could! I feel like it's the bare minimum to write down an order, store it in the system, and make sure it's ready for pick-up on the designated day, right? Well, apparently not for this place. Make sure you have a back-up plan if you're looking to place an order with them. My friend's baby shower is now ruined bc of them! Thanks, dawn! read more

The food is always amazing and you're always met with a friendly smile! They keep a clean comfortable environment for lunch date or a bite out! read more

The food was delicious their lemon bundt cake was really great for my daughters birthday

A M A Z I N G! I'm a vegan and finding food for my restrictions can be difficult. Most options are decent but this was FABULOUS. I LOVED IT. I ordered the Mock Tuna Sandwich and the Green Frog smoothie. Delicious and filling. Please keep these menu items!! Awesome, awesome!! New local favorite. What a gem! read more

I ordered a pumpkin chai. I forgot to mention my preference for alternative milks over dairy. I didn't ask what milk they used and took a sip anyway. It was deliciously creamy. Though I didn't drink very much of my chai, the mug did an amazing job keeping my hands warm. I also purchased the "Mock Tuna" from the Grab n' Go section. If you don't like mustard... this sammy is NOT for you. Lo siento. More for me! Chickpeas, red onions, mustard, celery, tomato and spinach on... honey oat bread? It was very tasty. Dawn's Delectables offers to-go menu items and also a to-go ordering and pick up window. I'll be back! read more

The best sandwiches, paninis, and desserts in the area! A little on the mid to higher end price wise, but totally worth it. Lots of space inside for events or just to grab lunch or a coffee. Street parking read more

I was visiting my mom. I'm a vegan and she is not. When I mentioned this place, she said she had been wanting to go here because she had heard so much about it. We were NOT disappointed. She got the tomato soup (vegan but she said it was really good anyway - ha) and the club sandwich which came on a croissant. I got the mock-tuna panini and fruit (sadly the coleslaw and pot. salad aren't vegan but they looked great). I loved it so much that I ordered another one to take home to my husband. Two hours later, it was still good. They even wrapped the little pickles spears separately. Oh, and did I mention that the blackberry cobbler and the strawberry rhubarb cobbler were amazing. . . sometimes I don't ask if things are vegan, just saying. Definitely worth the cheat. I will definitely be back and my mom, who lives in town, says she will be back "even if they do serve that vegan food." read more

I have nothing negative to say...the warm brick interior is enhanced by natural wood tables, hardwood floors, antique accents and music softly playing in the background...and I haven't even gotten into the food! The Figgy Piggy was stacked high with thinly sliced ham, topped with a sliver of cheese, sweetened with fig jam and given a bit of a bite with red onion...sandwiched between grilled Kalama sourdough. Sublime. The "turkey and provolone" is elevated with a pesto aioli and flaky crescent...garnished with bib lettuce and freshly sliced tomato. The side? The very best homemade potato salad I've ever tasted...outside of my own family recipe, of course! So good, it could have been dessert. We live over an hour away from here and will gladly make the drive to get back here again. Can't wait to try their Italian cream cake! read more

Upon my initial visit over a year ago, I had a cinnamon roll which tasted great until I realized there was hair in it. Stopped going, until today, I decided to give them another chance when I really shouldn't have. Placed a to go order for 2 drinks and paninis and after 45 minutes, I had to ask where my order was. They brought it right out and told me "their colleague went on break" and my order was forgotten. Past that, the menu is very bland and overpriced. If your taste buds are functioning, I wouldn't eat here. Apparently you have to be elderly and Caucasian to get decent service (this is 100% their demographic, wish I was kidding.) The only tasty thing I've eaten here was the chocolate banana smoothie, probably because it's only like three ingredients and a toddler could make it. read more

Great peanut butter cookies and the guy that was working was very friendly and welcoming.

The carrot cake and pastrami sandwich are my go to's but the clam chowder is the perfect remedy to any cold day. Dawn and her team always put a smile on my face. read more

Fantastic healthy food. They gave delicious desserts as well. Service is friendly and helpful., The environment is charming with periodic live entertainment. Great downtown location. Plenty of space. Parking usually easy to find.Great place for families. The only concern I have is prices are a bit high and sometimes there in-store breads, though delicious, can be hard on the palet. So, check the bread before you bite down. read more

So disappointed. From out of state, we wanted to support a local business to order a cake for a family member's birthday. The cake was very expensive, but we thought we would get a top quality product with attention to detail. In the end, the happy birthday message we had ordered wasn't on the cake. The person who took the order asked to include a tip. As I felt we would get good service, I agreed. Totally regret the decision. Next time, we're calling the local grocery store. read more

Love this local bakery! They have great sandwiches and Pastries!! The carrot cake is especially good!

No one makes a better chicken salad sandwich than Dawn's!!! There is some special ingredient (maybe curry?) that gives a hint of something special. Portion is generous, even for me! I always try to go when I'm in town. Sooo worth it!!! read more

We stopped by Centralia, Washington on the way from Olympia to Portland to shop the Antiques and Collectibles. While there we wandered in to Dawn's place for lunch. First let me say that the young guys who were handling the order taking and table service were very nice and super efficient. We had the Turkey Swiss sandwich and Chicken Noodle soup and both were very tasty. The place was packed and everyone was enjoying their meals, you could tell because once they started on the food they stopped talking! You have to focus on the taste to get the most pleasure out of the taste. From the dessert menu we had the Carrot Cake. By far the best Carrot Cake I ever tasted, and I try every Carrot Cake I find. Can't wait to go back again. Thank you for the experience. read more

Went there for the first time for my mother's birthday. It was exceptional and the food was pretty healthy considering it's a restaurant! Their rosemary chicken sandwich was to die for, and their raspberry tart was amazing! Everything g was proportional and their prices were good! 100% will Be going here again. While staying in centralia we ordered from here on door dash. Amazing food. I did the BLT very fresh. Also ordered a side salad that came with lemon candied walnuts. Also sprinkled with cheese. Very good. Hubby ordered a chicken sandwich also very good. Never cared for walnuts but they were great read more

Special ordered a Key Lime Pie, it was as the name states Delectable, we recently returned from a trip to Florida and one of our objectives was to find the best Key Lime Pie, unfortunately with the current events we were unable to pursue this goal and were really hankering for some Key Lime, my wife suggested Dawn's Delectables and she was spot on, really great pie, when this situation passes I'll be trying many other items from this small shop. read more

We stopped for lunch and loved it. We had a Chicken Salad Croissant and the Turkey Bacon Pepperjack Panini. They were perfectly prepared and delicious. Cute store in downtown Centralia with the best food around. We had our union meeting in her restaurant after closing but prior to we had dinner. The hot ham and cheese with homemade potato salad was so delectable! There are so many great desserts to choose from as well. I had the New York cheesecake. The place was immaculate too. They were very friendly and so fast with the service. This is a great place to go for a bite! read more

Dawn's has so many good lunch and dessert options it is hard to pass up whenever I'm in town! The shop employs local teenagers and they are all quite polite and helpful! I've gotten paninis here along with several brownies and desserts; all of which have been fantastic and full of flavor! Additionally, Dawn's catered my wife and I's wedding last summer. The shop provided a variety of brownies and cookies. The arrangement was set up at the reception on beautiful platters and she handled all the details! If your in town, you need to give this place a try! I'd be here every day for lunch if I could afford it! Plus, you're support local economy; which I enjoy especially when the result is something as delicious as Dawn's! Also, they recently opened up a lot more seating, including a large group room! Awesome to see the place expanding! read more

The treats here are delicious! I tried a sticky bun and it was definitely worth going back for. My date enjoyed a red velvet cupcake and also swore of it's deliciousness! The only con to this place, (maybe the lady at the counter was just having a bad day) but as we were ordering separately, she took my money and immediately stopped helping my date who was standing behind me to help a family that was not in line. Then when she assumed to help him, she was a bit unfriendly about it and seemed annoyed to be doing her job. Not even a "hello, how are you?" I like to support local business, (it's the only way to go!) please remember to be friendly always. People who are supporting you are supporting your business because they want to! Not because they have to. read more

I actually liked this place - surprise. If I have to find fault - I do not care for the orange colors used in the bathrooms - but I guess their Mom does so. :) They are very friendly and helpful and the atmosphere was nice (not Christmas with no Christmas music) but still nice. My wife and I split the Rueben sandwich and it also was a success - no questions as to how to make it - they made the traditional Rueben. My wife also liked the bread pudding and our adult son was under orders to bring a dessert home to his wife since she like the place but could not join us. I will stop again next time I am in town at lunch time. read more

Such a nice little place in downtown historic Centralia. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Based on previous reviews of the carrot cake, I definitely agree that this is one of the best. Ingredients blended perfectly and nice not too sweet cream cheese frosting. The cinnamon rolls are very good too, but only available on saturdays. It is worth a detour off the interstate read more

Stopped in for lunch today while antique shopping downtown. We had soup & sandwiches that were delicious. Hubby got the hot ham & cheese with sweet hot mustard and I had the BLT, both were great. Service was warm & friendly and the seating was clean & comfy. We really enjoyed the photos displayed around the whole place. They have a nice assortment of coffees & desserts, but we stayed strong w/ our lunches (even though their display case made it very difficult)! Maybe, next time! We'll be back. read more

Music every 3rd Thursday evening is no longer offered but there are still hundreds of great reasons to eat at Dawn's!

Fabulous! Really the best lunch we've had recently, and this counts travels up and down the west coast. The Reuben sandwich was yummy, the potato salad was excellent. Prices were very reasonable, staff and customers were safely following pandemic protocol. And they were so nice! DO NOT look at the desserts, they are ridiculously delicious. Will be back soon, for their famous clam chowder. Bravo! read more

Dawn's has great sandwiches, soups, and above all. . . sweets. The food is fresh and has a home cooked comfort food feel to it. You can't go wrong with any of the lunch options. I am partial to the chicken salad sandwich and clam chowder. In addition, and this is a big ADDITION, the sweets. My favorite is the cinnamon bread pudding. It is absolutely amazing. What a great find! I was shopping in downtown Centralia at lunchtime. I went in and was immediately greeted with a smile. Having not been there before, I wasn't familiar with the "rules" about seating, ordering, etc. The young lady told me that I could take a seat and look at the menu. Primarily a sandwich shop, but I have to say that the dessert case immediately caught my attention. I ordered the half sandwich/cup of soup. I got a club sandwich with roasted tomato soup. They were out of chicken, but the turkey and ham was more than enough! The meats, tomato and avocado were all very fresh and the sandwich was great! I'm from Dallas, Texas and have struggled to find a tomato soup that could match La Madeleine. My search has ended! The soup was amazing! It was seasoned perfectly and a perfect match for my sandwich. I couldn't resist the dessert case and I'm so glad I didn't! I got a peppermint brownie and a slice of carrot cake to go. They are known for their carrot cake and I certainly see why! It was awesome! The cake wasn't dry at all and the cream cheese icing was perfectly done. The brownie was equally delicious. I will definitely be a regular! Service was friendly and efficient. Well worth a trip!! read more

My sister and I stopped - They have a strange two door situation going on so we couldn't tell if we just like seated ourselves and a server found us or step up to the counter in the next room and ordered and waited or how it worked.. couldn't find anything like just normal food we could eat anyway so we just spent an uncomfortable 5 minutes staring at the menu board and then left.... read more
