Not knowing anything about the menu, I opted to try the Duke. Great choice. I had mine with pulled pork, with my chile on the side, so I could taste the original item and add the New Mexico flavor if needed. I loved the original version and confess I did not add the chile the second time. Service was great - delivered to my car in the Ex Novo parking lot. Ambiance is outdoors or take-away - how can we complain? Next time you are driving through our village and see the red food truck on the west side of Corrales Road near the fire station, pull in and give them a try. I'm glad I did.

But inside it's cute and clean. The menu is a a good size with lots of options. I ordered the chicken satay and the papaya salad. I can't remember what my wife had but it was good. The satay was nice and not covered in gooey marinade. It was delicate and delicious. The papaya salad was huge and I ended up having it for multiple meals. I ordered medium which turned out to be pretty fiery but delicious. While I've found plenty of good Vietnamese I haven't liked too many of the Thai places here. This is an exception. And now I see that they have a second branch on Nob Hill which is near my house which is great.

My husband ordered the NM Green Chile Hamburger Pizza, and I got the Chicken Alfredo. Both were amazing. The pizza was flavorful, and the crust was delicious. My pasta was perfectly cooked, and the white sauce was perfect. My husband said it was the best pizza he'd ever had. We've also had the Supreme Pizza and the Chicken Parmesan with spaghetti in red sauce, and we were not disappointed. The flavors and the quality of the ingredients really shine through. This is now one of our very favorite food trucks, and we look forward to trying everything!

I tried this truck for the first time today, and my doors are blown off and my socks have been knocked off! The lady at the window was super friendly, and not in a fake, awkward way, but in a genuine, "I love everyone" sort of way. Anyway, I ordered 'The Duke' special, which is a lot of stuff I like: beef, hotlinks, caramelized onions, cheese, and green chile on a hoagie roll. She took my money, and I waited, thinking this was probably a mistake. I hadn't heard much about the place, but it seemed like with all those components, some of the weaker ones would bring down the entire sandwich. Boy was I wrong. The beef was beautifully cooked, with just a bit of pink showing, the hotlinks were smokey and delicious, the onions were soft and plentiful, the green chile had heat, and the cheese tied it all together into a beautiful gooey mess on a soft and inviting roll. I needed the extra fork she provided, as I 'got nasty' with it, caring less and less about what proper eating etiquette is, and more and more about getting it into my mouth as soon as possible. I'm not going to lie to you - this is not health food. Not even close. In fact, there really isn't anything I'd consider 'healthy' on the entire menu. If you're looking for something green, you've come to the wrong place. This food truck's menu is a carnivore's paradise, and it's going to cause long-term problems, but you know what? I live in the short term. It's greasy and brown, and just amazing. This would be the ultimate hangover food if I were hung over, which might just be the best compliment I can give the place.
