I had a smothered Carne Asada Burrito with red chile (continuing my quest to find the best burrito) and my wife had the Birria Tacos. The burrito was stuffed with a generous amount of meat, refied beans and rice. The chile was flavorful and bit on the hot side, which suits me fine. The birria was tender and the sauce was just as tasty. Did I mention the salsa bar? The green salsa was the best. If you're near Santa Ana Star Casino, do yourself a favor and try Tio's. You won't be disappointed.

My total was about $15 with tax. I got my order to go. The food was delicious, and I really enjoyed it. My only suggestion would be to consider offering a "Taco Tuesday" or other daily specials. At the current prices, the portion size doesn't quite justify making it a place I'd visit regularly. Overall, the food was very good, and I wish them the best. I just think $15 for three flautas with rice and beans to go is a little on the expensive side. (Rice/beans portion was smaller than expected). If I had dined in and added a tip, the cost would have been even higher. Again, delicious food. But portion was too small for the price. All the best!!

Ambiance is outdoors or take-away - how can we complain?
