First off, we could not tell if they were open or not because the window tint was so dark and we did not see an open sign. Turns out they were closed and we didn't realize it until we tried to open the locked door. Then the owner rushed to the locked door to let us in and insisted we were welcome to place and order. We felt terrible for arriving after hours but that was a 10 out of 10 customer service experience. They were helpful with our suggestions on what to try since it was our first time there, my kids are not hot dog fans so we were happy they had a burger option. We took our food to go because we were already there after hours. First the fries, the texture was not my favorite because I personally like a cruncher fry but the taste was wonderful and the suggested cheese sauce just made it better 9 out of 10 The cheeseburger was high quality even though my kids eat it plain. It was great and the bun was excellent. 10/10 The server suggested we try a sausage dog and I'm glad she did because it was wonderful and it is HUGE. 10/10 This place is great but the customer service puts it over the top. We will surely be back!

My husband and I came here for the first time tonight. Hubby got a Chicago-style dog and I built my own with bacon and Swiss. Service was friendly and fast. The hot dogs are huge and served on a toasted bun. The bun was amazing. Dogs are grilled and tasty. We enjoyed the food and will definitely be back!

Lovely, locally owned spot. They serve hotdogs and sausage dogs along with a few burgers. This was my first visit and i was greeted by an incredibly friendly staff (owners?) that were warm and gave the small town feel. I was told that every side is made fresh in house and I could tell. The fries were fresh with a crunchy outside and soft potato in the middle that came topped with "dawg sauce" and cheese. The sausage dog had a nice bite that was full of flavor. I was checked on a couple times by staff to make sure there was nothing I needed. You just can't beat the kindness of a small town place. I can't wait to return and try other things!!!

Really can't beat either the hotdawgs or Fries. I got the Chicago dog and since coming back from Chicago it's been hard to find one that's been close to par. And this hit the spot. I'll be getting the chili dog next

During the COVID-19 quarantine we have had several local food trucks from the area rotate for lunch/dinner during the week. I am so sad I only made it to The Naked Dog once before I moved back north. I am a hot dog lover, so imagine my difficulty in not ordering every variation from the menu! My husband and I decided on a few to split (not knowing their size): a classic Naked dog with classic toppings (ketchup, mustard, relish); a slaw dog; a Reuben dog; and a Chicago dog. If I could be speechless in a written Yelp review, I'd leave it at that. The dogs were jumbo sized, toppings were plentiful, tasty and temperature just right. The slaw dog was my absolute favorite - the cole slaw had the perfect consistency and was simple enough to not overpower the dog itself. The Reuben was a legit sandwich on a burger, pastrami and all. The dressing was perfect. The Chicago was classic and wonderful, complete with the unique green Chicago relish. Last but not least, smoothies! What better pair than a smoothie and a dog? We tried peach and strawberry. They were fruity, had chunks of real fruit and were not overly sweet. Just amazing! Y'all, please go have a hotdog or three on my behalf until I'm able to return to Savannah again!

Do not get the coffee at Sea Wolf Tybee…read more In Sea Wolf's defense, our server told me as such. I ordered coffee, and he practically begged me not to. "Imagine Folgers... but worse," he said. I grew up on Eight O'Clock coffee--the only brand worse than Folgers-- so opted to brave the drip from Sea Wolf Tybee. How bad could it really be? Really bad. The Sea Wolf Tybee coffee was really, really, bad. The owners have made a deal with the barrier island devil where their successful establishment came at the expense of serving the worst coffee on earth. The coffee wasn't just bland, it was reeking with flavor, as if a tybee island horseshoe crab has been decaying in the coffee pot since the eatery was established in 2020. The server tried his hardest to prevent this 4-star review by warning me about the coffee, and in his defense the taste is not why I deducted Sea Wolf Tybee one star. I deducted one star because the vile 12oz cup of black drip coffee was $5 dollars. Like any diner at a lunch spot, I did not check the coffee's price before ordering it, assuming it'd be the standard $2-3 dollars. Even specialty coffee shops max their drip coffee prices at $4.50. Instead, Sea Wolf Tybee has opted to charge $5, rake-in a 95% profit margin, and exploit the trust of patrons who assume a cup of joe won't cost as much as Georgia's hourly minimum wage. I'm a former barista and coffee-lover, and $5 is the most expensive drip coffee I have ever encountered. Sea Wolf Tybee had outdone itself--the bill was more nauseating than the coffee.

Ok, this is one of the first places in Savannah where the price matched with the portion. $3.75 for a slider and $1.50 for half tray of fries. Also $1 for a side of ranch, but can't complain it was a big portion of ranch. We ordered just the regular sliders, one without veggies (for me) and one with veggies (for my girlfriend). The patties themselves were flavorful, but it was really just the patty, I barely noticed the bacon. Bacon cut could've been thicker, or another piece of bacon; to make the layers for distinct. My girlfriend said she didn't realize there was bacon, she did enjoy the slider however. The fries were so good. It kind of reminds me of the In-n-Out well-done fries; superrrr crisp. The ranch was really good too, garlicky a little, and thick consistency. The service was fast and nice. We were one of the first people in, so everything moved smoothly. The ambience is very homey feeling, like I'm eating in someone's home - which I enjoyed. I don't like when a burger spot tries to glorify the inside even though they're just burgers. To sum it up: If the slider had a thicker slice of bacon on the burger, not really thick, maybe the thickness of 2 pieces of bacon just to get the difference textures, this would be 5/5.

Our server, Becky, was great--attentive, friendly, and on top of everything. The burgers were a highlight--huge 1/2-lb patties and very good. The Caesar salad was also perfect. Unfortunately, the dynamite sticks were a miss. They're supposed to be similar to a cheese stick, but the breading wasn't good, the center was cold, and the dipping sauce that came with them was equally unappealing. I asked for marinara instead, but it was brought out cold as well. That said, the staff, burgers, salads, drinks, and overall service were all great. For four people, the total was $86, which I thought was very reasonable. Overall, a solid spot with a few items that could use improvement.
