Went for a birthday dinner, what a mistake choosing this restaurant. We have been to this restaurant in past and was good. Sadly tonight the prime rib was inedible, it was tough and dry. My dog enjoyed it. The salad and baked potato were good. We had talked about bringing friends with us, thankful we didn't. My husband had kabobs, he said steak was flavorless and didn't like the chicken seasoning. read more

Davison's is our go to when we want really good food, reasonably priced and a quiet comfortable place to sit and talk with friends and family and enjoy a meal together without the overwhelming loud music and noise that often other places have. This was our first visit. We were very pleased. The food was wonderful. The filet was cooked perfectly and it was very thick. They oven cook the potatoes not microwaved. Cocktails were made well. Their deserts are made locally and are excellent. Service was quick and everyone was very welcoming. We will be back! read more

Our experience with Davison's was exceptional. We came into town for our son's wedding and we held the rehearsal dinner here. From the first time we called until the end of the party our experience with everyone was great. We couldn't be more pleased. From Mike, the owner, to the wait staff, to the chefs, everything was top notch. They were very accommodating and went above and beyond to make sure our event was a success. The food was excellent! Everyone in our party commented on how delicious their meal was. My only regret is that Davison's is not in our hometown. But if they were we would definitely be regulars. read more

My wife and I had date night dinner here last week and had a really nice time. We popped in on a Thursday night around 6 and was immediately seated. Our waitress was quick to get our drinks and provide us with menus. The shrimp cocktail was chilled and the cocktail sauce had a stronger kick than what I am used to getting when I order this appetizer. My wife ordered the spinach dip and said it was in her top ten of the ones she has sampled over the years. We did not have to wait long for our main course after finishing our appetizers. We were a little disappointed as we had heard that the cooks come over to you for you to select your steak at this did not change our positive attitude on this restaurant. The steaks were cooked to our specific levels and our sides were quite tasty. Overall we give this restaurant a 7 out of 10. It's parking lot is quite challenging when they have alot of people, the womens restroom had a line, but the overall feel was nice. We plan to visit again at a later date. read more

We arrived late, about 45 min before closing. The staff was still super friendly and professional. We ordered steaks, ribeye and filet mignon. Both were good quality and cooked to perfection. Food arrived in a timely manner. We managed to eat and leave with enough time for them to clean before closing. Highly recommended. read more

After passing this restaurant several times and seeing a packed parking lot- I felt like the food must have been good! After driving an hour for a laid back date night I was very optimistic! When entering it seemed that they were trying to create something classy out of something that needed a remodel. I was still thinking that I was there for the food not the decor. Our waitress was great and offered good service throughout the meal. However, the meal left us very disappointed. The salad bar has several items that needed replacing after being out for what appeared hours. We both ordered the ribeye and I added a shrimp skewer. I am so glad I added the shrimp because the steak was tasteless trash. Neither of us ate our steaks. Which is disappointing when the bill is $86 for a party of two. I would not recommend this restaurant and I am not sure why it seems to have strong clientele. read more

The atmosphere is warm but not extravagant. The service was excellent but a little fast, if you want to ease that speed receive your appetizers before ordering your main course. The meal was very good, shrimp cocktail and spinach artichoke dip to begin and the filet was excellent. Nice to see a salad bar again and the homemade desserts were terrific. read more

Food was average but thot it was a little high priced for area ...$38 Filet was admittedly nice size but ordered as medium (pink warm center) was prepared well done cooked through and pretty dry. It was... fine. Let me start off by saying the service was excellent. We arrived on a very busy Friday night, were seated immediately, and have no complaints about our lovely server, or the time it took for food to arrive. And they've made some protocol changes to the salad bar in response to Covid. But. The steaks were burnt, as was the asparagus. Old. School. This is a meat-and-potatoes, iceberg lettuce salad bar kind of place..,and they do it very well. Family owned, and at some point the owner will most likely come to your table and make sure everything's ok. Not a big bar scene; though they do have a small bar area. read more

The first time I tried the yellow fin tuna with garlic butter, It was amazing. I went back for lunch one day and I thought I was at a different restaurant. Nowhere as good. The waitress asked if we wanted green beans and we said yes, we never got them and I forgot. So you never know what you're gonna get there it seems. read more

Tonight was the first night in months we could go out to dinner because of Covid19. We wanted to go out and support our local restaurants. I am a bartender at a local restaurant too. I called to see if they were having dine in service and they were! Our entire dining experience was fantastic. The staff was so appreciative that we came out to support them. The food was amazing, melt in your mouth. My son wanted to order another burger because as he said "its the best burger I've had". The dessert was incredible. I'm so glad that we were able to go out, show our support, and have a wonderful experience. If you haven't been to Davison's... you definitely need to. Cheers to Davisons and their staff. I don't understand why people rave about this place. The food was passable at best, but nothing to write home about. It certainly wasn't good enough to validate what they charge for it. Fountain drinks were served flat. Service was slow, and they got my order wrong. The interior looked nice, if you overlook the sticky floors. Not on my list of reccomended places to eat. read more

This restaurant is definitely a hidden gem. It's definitely worth paying a visit. The customer service was excellent, we were seated immediately upon entering the building. The waitress was very friendly and knowledgeable about the items on the menu. As far as the food everything that we ordered was exceptional. The ingredients on the salad bar were the best tasting that I've had in a while. The vegetables tasted like they were picked straight out of the garden. I also ordered the prime rib sandwich which was amazing, definitely the best that I've ever ordered at a restaurant .
