Evan (tech) has taught me way more about soft water systems than I have ever wanted to learn. For that, I am thankful. I am also thankful for honesty, promptness and fair service. Thanks again to Evan and the rest of staff. Be patient people, they are busy, they will call you back. read more

Learned a disappointing, but valuable lesson about Davis Water Conditioning today. They will not standby their long-term and loyal customers. We tried to arrange a maintenance appointment for our two RO systems today, but Davis declined to service the units. Davis originally installed the units and has been servicing them since they were installed. Today we were informed they no longer service 'those' units. The RO systems have been working flawlessly but it's clear that Davis wants to coerce us into buying new units. This is nothing short of a scam. When asked if they could refer us to another service company, I was told to Google it read more

**WARNING** THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM. I have been a customer of Davis since February of 2016. I've spent over 20 thousand dollars with Steve and Davis water conditioning on what was supposed to be a great commercial reverse osmosis. As we were new to the reverse osmosis world, Steve told us he would take care of us and point us in the right direction. After a year of hell and wayyyyy too much money we decided to start price checking all the things Steve had told us to buy......we found that he had been charging an insane premium. We trusted him. He knew that and took advantage of us. When I called him and asked him questions he treated us very poorly and used profanity then hung up. read more

These people never answer their phones, if you do get someone there is some reason why they can't speak to you at that moment with the promise of a call back that never comes. Even after you have them install an expensive unit, there was no loyalty to the customer if follow up is needed. read more

I bought a water conditioning unit less than a year ago. To date we have not had soft water. They installed a house filter which seems to be working and an RO system that also seems to be working. But the water conditioning system is dismal. To add insult to injury, when we called the company to let them know that their system was not providing conditioned water, they sent a technician to readjust the settings (which should have been set properly at installation). This should have been under warrantee instead of charging me $134.00 to adjust the unit. To date, no soft water and I noticed a pinhole in the salt container which seeps constantly. I am reluctant to call and be charged another $134.00 for them to replace the storage unit. It has been nothing but disappointing after paying $3000.00. 25 years ago I bought a $500.00 Sears water conditioner and it is still working perfectly in the house I recently sold. read more

I just moved into a new home with a soft water system already installed with a Davis Water Conditioning sticker on it. I've always lived in apartments up to this point, so I didn't know how to use it. They were able to put me on the phone with a technician (his name was Joshua) and he explained how the system worked and what I need to do to ensure it's running well. He did it over the phone and was very knowledgeable and courteous with me. read more

I rent my water conditioning equipment from Davis and it was time for an upgrade. I called into the office and spoke with Steve, extremely knowledgeable and pretty much diagnosed the issues I was having with my older system and we decided to upgrade. Christine is always on top of the situation in the office for service / install dispatch, billing etc. She set me up with an appointment and Evan showed up on time to swap my equipment out. Evan was a super friendly guy, swapped out my old conditioner, wrapped up the job - immaculate - complete - EXCELLENT. My monthly rental went up just a few bucks for brand new equipment and our water tastes great, and is super soft in the bath and shower with loads of soap suds! This a is a GREAT LOCAL "hands on business!" Thanks Steve, thanks Christine, thanks Evan! read more

Avoid Davis water conditioning! They took our money and then were not available to service the RO system that didn't work after a mere 6 months. When we did get their attention to the matter, the owner left us a really nasty voice mail message and blamed us for the problem their RO system was experiencing. We ended up not being able to use the unit, $600 later. read more

Davis Water is a business to be avoided. There are other comparable companies in the area that are far better. The service was rushed, repairs were suggested that were not needed, the service people were rude and lacked professionalism, and the owner was unclear on pricing. If you want good service from a reliable company, it's best to look elsewhere. read more

I am so excited to Yelp Davis Water Conditioning. The customer service is so amazing and so appreciated. They have held our hand through a broken softener all the way through us now leasing one from them. The pricing is reasonable, the service- well, it will blow your mind!!! The owner, to the technician to the people in the office- they are all extremely service oriented and professional. A pleasure to deal with them. If relationships could all work like this- the world would be a better place. read more

So knowledgable and helpful! Willing to go above and beyond to make sure their customers are happy. They turn Paso's terrible hard water into perfectly drinkable right from the tap! I wouldn't go anywhere but Davis for my water needs! read more

These Guys Rock! I spent a week searching the internet for the right medium to treat my water. I finally surrendered and called around. At Davis I got to talk to a REAL person who actually knew what they were talking about. Within minutes they knew what I needed. I decided to take the plunge and I am glad I did. The service couldn't be more convenient and now I feel confident I can maintain my water with their help. So far so good, glad I supported a LOCAL company where I'm not just another number. read more

From the first call, Davis Water Conditioning was amazing. I had 3 different houses to get RO serviced or installed (2 in PR & 1 in Shandon) Sharon was so helpful in arranging to get this done in 1 afternoon. Joe showed up and was so professional, quick and careful to not make a mess. We are now enjoying soft water at all 3 homes. THANK YOU Davis Water!! read more

Love their service and really nice people. They go out of their way for us. If you maintain your equipment they guarantee that it will work right. So far so good. read more

Follow through was horrible. the guy that installed our system was nice, but didn't seem to know everything he needed to know to be a quality installer. I was not provided wiht any paperwork relating to our system (ie; a manual!) and we will probably have to call in another company to make sure things are correct. Very frustrating! read more

Davis water does not stand behind their work. They said we needed a new r/o system that was not necessary .Then when we had problems with it they refused to stand behind the warranty and repair .This company ran our water company for years and did a very poor job. High priced , terrible service. Take your business elsewhere. read more

Davis Water Conditioning has been great taking our sulfur out of our water. We had to dig a new well and got sulfur water however, Davis Water Conditioning is doing great with the RO system and follow up with us is great. read more

Davis Water Conditioning has been a great asset to us in helping us tackle a water softening system which we inherited with no operating instructions. On several occasions they have been prompt and efficient in getting the system to properly operate and in educating us in the process. read more

This business lacks professionalism. I called to have my reverse osmosis serviced at my rental home. I expressed to the receptionist, Andrea that this was a rental home and to coordinate a time with my tenant but to bill me for service and advise ME ONLY on parts and/or additional repair fees that would be in addition to their whopping $125 service call. The next day, I received a call from my tenant explaining in a voicemail that Davis Water couldn't come out until I authorized a $75 membrane part fee. She also stated she was informed of the $125 service fee I was incurring....UMM hello?! Why are you even involving the tenant in the financial aspect. It wasn't until an hour later that Davis Water left me voicemail stating that the replacement part would be $85 and that I needed to authorize service. So my second gripe is with the discrepancy in price that was quoted to my tenant then left on my voicemail. After speaking with the owner, Steve Davis, he said he went ahead and met with the tenant to make repairs since she had authorization from me. So, what was the purpose of even calling me if you were just going on the word of my tenant to make repairs? I was about to cancel service only to find out it had already been performed. Subsequently I found another local business that would have come out to do the work needed for only $35 and roughly another $35 for the membrane replacement. Quite a difference in price!!! OH and I was later informed by the tenant that the service person who came out to the home was trying to pressure her into just replacing the unit entirely. Why are you giving a sales pitch to the tenant?! read more
