He said I should get it replaced, and before I went in for my appointment to do it, I got a text letting me know what my expected portion of the bill would be after insurance. I didn't ask for it, and it didn't happen when I arrived - it just magically appeared days in advance. The filling replacement was so fast, painless... I'd go so far as to say it was a breeze. I only had a cleaning to day (and a very deep one as I hadn't been to the dentist in a long time) and I can confidently say that, even though it was a rough cleaning, I enjoyed it! It sounds weird but it's true! The hot rocks, lavender sheet, and warm pillow really helped comfort me and the music in the background was very relaxing. I really enjoyed my experience here and I never thought I could ever say that about a dentist's office. There is a long waiting list but if you're perseverant and positive, you can get in ahead of schedule! My appointment was supposed to be a year from now but I saw the email they usually send when there's an open spot and quickly replied to their message with my information, which I had typed down on a note in my phone so I could copy paste it quickly on their email message. If you don't do that, odds are someone else will get the appointment. The last time I tried, the appointment was filled within two minutes of having received the email. I knew that wasn't true, and I confirmed with my insurance (DentaQuest) that no authorization was required. I filed a grievance and documented everything in case this office tries to bill for a cleaning they never did. No patient should ever be treated differently because of their insurance or the color of their skin. I feel I was treated this way because I have MassHealth/Medicaid, a low-subsidy insurance plan, and because I am a Black woman as if I was ignorant and wouldn't know better. I remained respectful and polite, but I will not return. If you are a person of color and have MassHealth, Medicaid, DentaQuest, any type of state or government insurance, please be cautious. In my experience, this office especially Dr lang will play in your face, deny you proper care, will bill you for services you never received. Patients deserve honesty and equal treatment, no matter their background or insurance.

I had to ask her to come over to me because I didn't feel comfortable with her shouting this across the room. I also carefully read the financial form which they had me sign and it stated they would bill for services and payment was required within 30 days. They refused to honor this despite having me sign this upon entry. When I pointed this policy out to Adriana she changed the wording to "insurance will be billed" and insisted I pay out of pocket in full right then. This experience was such a let down. Unfortunately they have changed and are no longer a helpful or polite or reliable dental provider. I would not advise that people go here.
