Used Bella Pool for about a year. Generally OK but two major problems. First, I had a leak from…read morebottom of filter. Bella sent their "repairman" to check it out. Told me he couldn't fix it and I needed a new filter unit ($3,000 - $5,000). Bowersox fixed it next day in thirty minutes for $100. More recently, a new pool tech was assigned. Within three weeks pool is full of green algae. Tech sells me $150 phosphate treatment and $150 new pool cartridge. Pool still looks awful. Hired Ahrens Pool - they come out and pool is sparking within 24 hours, I have to replace brand new pool filter cartridge that phosphate treatment ruined.

New owner, Robert, provides horrible pool service, equipment maintenance & speaking with clients. This week he almost cost me a new pool heater & VS pump due to negligence in servicing. Thankfully I caught his error. He also has reduced services and increased prices by $35 monthly. Spends 8 minutes servicing your pool, forgets to turn equipment back on & the list goes on & on. There is no "service" here. Immediately canceling--many other companies to choose from in the area.

Not only were the chemicals so severely out of balance, causing algae among other issues, the filter was so filthy that the pump quit working properly. Robert Ritch is incompetent and should not be in the pool service business.

The woman I spoke to was very pleasant and welcoming. She explained that where my house was located, they might have to charge me extra because of the location. She said she would check and get back to me. When I didn't hear from her in a few days, I called her back and she said that they could do my house but it will cost me extra for gas. I agreed and she told me she would service our pool on 9/1. We live in MA and this home is in FL. On 9/2, I sent an email asking if they made it to our property. She emailed me back and said that she completely spaced and they hadn't been there. She said she would see if they could go out there that day. I replied and asked her to let me know either way. On Friday, when I didn't hear back, I sent an email enquiring. No response. On Tuesday, 9/7 I called and left a message; no call back. On Wednesday, I called again and got the same woman I initially spoke with. She apologized for not getting back to me but said that they could not service my pool because of the location. I have no issue with that but I DO have an issue with the fact that she could not take 5 minutes to communicate that with me. Especially when she knows we live in MASS and are unable to take care of the pool that is FL. She offered to take care of the pool until we found someone else but seriously, why on earth would I believe that she would follow thru with her promise? Not a good way to run your company and treat people in general.
