I don't love monopolies, unless I am winning at the board game. So I look up cheap grocery stores, and other than Aldi, Food4Less came up. I found one not too far away from me and decided to venture up there. I walked through the doors and some of the first merchandise I see has the Kroger logo. Go figure. Where it comes to this specific grocery store, variety is one of the items that cost it points Their selection was fair, but the deli department is notably small, and there is no visible butcher shop (though there are meats and seafood for sale). You can more or less find everything you would need among these notably very wide aisles, but perhaps some items would require one to go elsewhere. Among the items they had, the store appeared clean and well stocked. When it comes to their prices, while nothing is cheap anymore, especially in Chicagoland, I found their prices were a little lower than average, especially for the eggs. When it comes to the customer service, this could also be a little bit better. While there was no one at the customer service desk, it had a little sign that said that this register is closed. So... if you need to return something or if a price isn't right, what then? You're just out of luck or something? I'd also like to note that this is a place where you bag your own groceries. Not a problem, necessarily, just thought I'd put it out there. Thus, while I appreciate the lower prices, the slightly limited selection and the lack of customer service cost Food4Less a couple points. Still respectable though, and I can still see myself coming back on occasion.

The manager Lisa Padilla allows Employees to Smoke Weed while on lunch and come back inside smelling like marijuana. This company lets homeless steal and put Employees in Danger as well. The manager of the Store calls off a lot. She suppose to update the schedule for the employees and she does not do her job so well. Also, check the dates on Food Products. Make sure you are eating Something that doesn't expire Soon. Be careful of this Store Customers.

The. Best. BUT…read more.. The bathroom NEED STEPNPULL. ( thingy on bottom part of door to open the door with foot instead of hand) This is a place where food gets handled and the bathroom needs this. I've personally seen personnel and clients in the bathroom and I've seen some people NOT wash their hands. I think this is more hygienic and quite frankly whenever I see these installed I always use them and it feels nice to not touch handle after washing my hands.

Pretty clean grocery store with lots of produce, fresh meats and bakery inside. My favorite area was the fresh juice station. I picked up a 64oz fresh juice beets-Orange. The total was only 9.99. This is a steal. If I do a juice cleanse, I am going to head here and picked up my juice as this is so reasonable. Also I grabbed some orange chicken which was 10.99 a pound. It was hot and full of veggies. I already had rice and broccoli already prepared at home. This made for easy dinner bowls that night. For lunch, I grabbed a carne asada burro which was very filling but light on the carne asada. Overall, this grocery store proved good as I got fresh bakery item (bagel), fresh pressed juice, spices, fresh berries and hot items (chicken and burros) for a decent price. There are other gas stations but this one by far has the best selection of foods and beverages by far. The mini mart in this joint is stocked to the hilt they have everything from hats and gloves to cold medicine. They carry just about every drink on the market and have a decent selection of snack foods. As a bonus there is a full on subway attached that servers breakfast. The gas prices seem to be on par if not just a little better than other places along my route. the bathrooms are always clean too, and are for single use only, if you like your privacy. In the end it is just a mini mart/gas station, it just happens to be where I need it when i need it.
