The worst customer service experience I've had in a so called " Professional place" at the Morrow location. I was double charged, when I brought the issue to the manager she was dodging my calls, didn't follow up with me until I disputed the charge. When I got my refund from my bank they didn't like it. They charged me the charge back fees that the merchant charged them, when I addressed it to the office manager at the Morrow location, she totally flipped, she started putting the blame on me, arguing with me telling me that their place is not a grocery store and how she's been a manager for 30 years. Melissa, what a way to handle customer's issues for a 30 years experienced manager Instead of being in the customer's shoe's, uncovering the issue, understanding the problem being addressed, she decided to make it a phone fight. Two of my children had braces put on by Dr. Davis on two different occasions. I was very disappointed with my son's results when the braces were removed. Dr. Davis agreed to put them back to help correct what we did not like and after several months still was disappointed with the end results. My son who doesn't say much also did not like his smile. Because of the state of my son teeth I assumed that's why the couldn't be corrected to my liking and gave her a second chance and let her work on my daughter's teeth needed very little correction. She already had pretty teeth just needed a little straighten. When her braces were removed her teeth look worse from the side view than before. Her overbite was worse and her teeth looked slanted from the side. The did not go straight up and down anymore but had a high slant. I would not recommend Dr. Davis . read more

My daughter has been going here for two years, we have never been late or missed a payment she was sick and unable to make her appointment once again she has never been late or missed an appointment until this point we were slammed with a, $35 late cancelation fee and can't get an appointment for another two months. I would not recommend them to anyone. Be prepared to wait at least 2 hours to be seen. Dr. Davis never apologizes for the wait and if there's ever an issue you will be sent to speak with security (Ms. Sandra). Sandra is essentially Dr. Davis' spokesperson that she uses to do her dirty work/ be rude and disrespectful. It's sad that a black owned establishment treats their patients, whom are primarily minorities, so poorly. This establishment is an example of why so many black owned business fail. This orthodontist is the worst! There's never an appointment shorter than 2 hours! My daughter had to keep that device in her mouth to keep open for an hour! My daughter text me pics of her almost in tears, dry mouthed and hurting. We have never had a good experience here. Her staff in Loganville (Evan) advised me that she has the worst time management and stepped away from my daughter to go in her office with her lights out apparently having a "family emergency" while my daughter is being neglected. Evan suggested I write a letter of complaint and give the reviews. People, do your research. Don't let this happen to your child. When her staff tells you the dr doesn't care about the patients and they're tired of dealing with all her backlash, obviously there's a problem. I would recommend Dr. Davis to any one who wants to get braces the staff there have been awsome with me every single one of them they all treat you with care even tho it was scary at first getting my braces on but i love the results i love my smile! I really like the little movie theatre they have there were u can watch a movie while u wait until u are called too. My girls and I relocated from Texas to the Greater Atlanta Area and I was very nervous about finding an office that would care for both my 7 and 13 year old daughters at the same time. I called Dr. Davis' office today and spoke to Mellisa at the Morrow office. She was extremely rude and inconsiderate to me regarding a retainer that I requested a refund for due to non- service. She stated that since I had not received a retainer after a year, I could NOT get a refund. This statement is nowhere in my contract. I asked, "What is the process for notifying patients that they will lose services or money?". She kept saying, "I cannot help you it was a decision made by accounting". During the entire five minute call she spoke over me, interrupted me and told me there was no one I could speak to other than her! I hate when a company makes me feel like I have no alternatives other than eating their crap and enjoying it. There are always alternatives! One thing I have ALWAYS HATED ABOUT THIS PRACTICE IS THE ADMINISTRATIVE STAFF!!!!!!!!!!! THEY ARE RUDE AND VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. DO NOT .... DO NOT and I mean DO NOT USE THIS ORTHODONTIS !! This place is the WORST !! They will rope you in with low cost and upcharge you on every single thing ... They tell you to pay on line and the web site does not work and has not worked in years ... they will not fix it because it gives them the opportunity to charge you an extremely high late fee of $35!!! My 20yr old grandson went for a consultation and was talked into the low price and getting braces the same day ... Mind you they took his money and had him sign an agreement to pay and ONLY installed brackets, No Wire, No Bands, and a 3 week out appointment because the Dr. HAD to go on VACATION !!! I am so heated and try to support BLACK OWNED BUSINESSES but its always the greed and unprofessionalism that kills it everytime ... Now during this time 3 brackets fell off and had no purpose whatso ever !! The sole purpose was to secure the "CHECK". I couldn't believe when I'm sitting concerned about the horrible service the doctor is telling me about a vacation that she goes on 2x a year ... Mind you my grandson advised that he was in college in another state and would need a secure way to make monthly payments ... He was assured that he could pay monthly online ... after 3 months he still can not pay online ... The office manager is rude, condescending and just plain has a nasty demeanor ... We have said that we want to discontinue service be cause we are so annoyed and dissatisfied with the service and we are advised that they will bill us $1000 for work that has not been done !!! I've been going to North Georgia Orthodontics in Morrow for 2 years. When I first started going, they weren't that bad. During my consultation with Dr. Davis, I was impressed with how upbeat she was. However, it didn't take long for me to see how she really was. My mother had several questions and tried to discuss some things with Dr. Davis, she cut her off! I was shocked because I wouldn't expect that from a "professional". We let it slide because it wasn't about her, it was about my need for braces. Everything was good during the first few appointments. I had a bit of trouble with them taking my tongue crib out, but they soon understood that once my mother and I have decided on something, we mean business. The thing that really makes me upset is the LONG wait for a "short" appointment which is only supposed to be about 20 - 30 minutes. There have been several times that I had been waiting for an hour or 2 just to get my rubber bands changed. I was in high school when I started and I usually had morning appointments, but I always ended up missing out on a lot of stuff at school because I spent more time waiting than I needed to. I am now entering my sophomore year in college and I am out of state. They are aware of this. Not only is it inconvenient for me to have to travel 2 hours just for these appointments, but they throw me off track because I end up leaving way later that I expect. It's already bad enough that I have to miss classes during the week because this off isn't open on Fridays or the weekend. Then my mother and I both asked if there was a way that I could transfer to one of their other office closer to her house so that I don't have to miss classes on Mondays and Tuesdays, but they can't transfer files from one of THEIR offices to another. (Figures!) Overall, my biggest issue with them is the waiting period. While phones are ringing off the hook up front and patients are in the movie theater in the back, Dr. Davis is taking her sweet time with whatever she's doing. There have been plenty of times that I was just waiting for her to do the final exam so I can leave, but she was too busy chitchatting with a patient or their parents about things that have NOTHING do with braces. The other workers aren't much different either. They spend a lot of time talking amongst each other when work needs to be done. I just left an appointment today and I was absolutely FED UP. My appointment was scheduled for 10:40am. I didn't see Dr. Davis for the initial exam until 11am. I wasn't actually seen for my braces until 11:40am. And I didn't get to see Dr. Davis for the final exam until 12:20pm because she wanted to socialize. Today was an extremely busy day for them, and I noticed they had a lot of new patients who needed x-rays, consultations, or where getting their braces put on. Not to mention school is starting back so of course the office will be busy. But instead of getting to everyone at a decent amount of time, they walk around LOOKING like they're doing something but they really aren't. Patients' questions don't get answered and they walk past you several times without even apologizing for the wait. They don't compromise with you at all! They are a very happy-go-lucky staff that puts on this act like they're trying their best, but I observe EVERYTHING and I see otherwise. I do NOT recommend this orthodontist to anyone. read more

I will never patrionize this business again. This has been the worst experience with braces ever. The lady at the front office is terrible and her attitude sucks. They charge you for every little thing they do; including the removal of the braces. The wait time for any service is always 2-3 hours and the doctor can never come up with a reason for the wait. This orthodontist/Loganville Practice is very deceptive in her practice, who is very nice and sweet in the beginning. I am very dissatisfied. After time went on, I realized she did not care about my child. I will never forget the day my child had the braces put on, we were there 4 hours!!! They let us go to their Lawrenceville Location to put the braces on, but never told us they were fitting us in!! Also, when I thought my child's teeth were being worked on, my child had been in the movie room the entire time, waiting to still be seen!! I will never recommend this practice to anyone. My child's brackets were constantly popping off for no reason. I was sitting there when one of the incidents happened that she blamed my child! At $25.00 a bracket and then she wanted to extend my child's work after we were paid-in-full and the work was going past the time they had set for the braces to come off. She tried to make things look like my child's fault. I was so done with her BS, I signed a form saying we were declining further treatment. My child has a crooked tooth on the bottom after I paid all of the money for braces and retainer, the retainer never fit quite right. I got tired of the lies, the stress, the long waits, the rude office staff on the phone and in person, and the orthodontist ignores you when you would like to speak with her. She puts her rude cohorts in charge of handing the parents. Her office staff makes up excuses for her. It was ridiculous. I also ran into another parent, that we are in the same after school program that also went here, and just the other day we were talking and have similar complaints. Also, don't believe it when they run a discount. It's a lie. All they are doing is subtracting out the amount of the retainer. lol Then you have to pay for the retainer in the end. If you figure the braces and the retainer together, it is more that $99.00 month. I guess they figure innocent people just won't pay attention to this. I pointed it out and they still told me it wasn't true. lol The lady that handles the accounting is also deceptive, if it is the same person. Then later I looked on line at the reviews prior to us being seen and people were had the same experiences. This was prior to 2013, I believe. Also, I had a dental assistant at our Dentist office in Lilburn ask me who did my child's braces, while she was doing my child's cleaning, this was after the braces came off. When I told the dental assistant, she shook her head and told me, she had heard similar complaints and my son's bottom front tooth is definitely crooked! read more
