I located a hood and called him that I found one 30 miles away. He said to stop and leave it on my way home. I called him at 3:30 and his voicemail said he was closed for the week even though I spoke with him at the shop. I called back and he reluctantly answered to say he decided to close in 5 minutes and to leave the hood outside IF he wasn't there. I arrived at the shop all open with nobody there. Doors wide open and no sign of tj fool who is mostly stoned and couldn't care less about his property, much less customers parts lying around brand new outside on the ground. My vehicle has been in this shop since February 11, 2022 with a finish date of 5/5/22. Damion…read moreMurray aka "Damion Brown" and girlfriend Taylor Gomes "run this shop". Taylor is the "office manager" said numerous times work was being completed in the meantime while back ordered parts were being ordered etc. I asked if I could help expedite back ordered parts and she gave me bogus part numbers then told me work would start and I would have my vehicle before or on 5/5/22. She even told me she would go ahead and order the parts to be sure she got them and then submit a supplement with the insurance company, ALL LIES!! Work was never completed. Numerous finish dates when May came around. ALL LIES!! I stopped by the shop and was denied access to my vehicle, they wouldn't tell me if my vehicle was even on the property. When I was able to see my car I had to barge into the back gate area only to find my car exactly in the same condition I had left it in in early February. There is another worker "Chris" there, he also likes to pretend he doesn't know what's going on and he just "works there" he's knows everything, he knows how much money is owed from customers insurance, he knows where your vehicle is, he knows who has done work on your vehicle, he likes to play dumb. I have had to send out a 30 day demand letter which they never responded to, they have given myself, the MA Attorney General Office and my insurance company yet another written statement saying my vehicle is finished and waiting for the last supplement check. It's now 11 days after the check was issued, someone I know saw my vehicle at the shop yesterday 7/7/22 and the front end is still not put together. I asked for photos of my vehicle in it's current state throughout these 6 months and they have still not been able to produce such photos. Their MA State Standards license has been expired for over a year. A complaint has been filed with the MA AG Office. Next step, l'm filling the 93-A with the courts. I will be bringing my car to Jeep to have all their work checked over to make sure parts weren't switched out and things were fixed properly. DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE!!! Update: Damion, Chris and Taylor blatantly lied AGAIN to my insurance company and gave me yet again a finish date that was a lie. Damion stated that my vehicle was "low priority" because of everything that has happened and "if I want my car and the rest of the work to be expedited that I need to remove all my bad reviews about the shop." So now they have received all the payments from my insurance and are now try to use EXTORTION and BLACKMAIL ME BY HOLDING MY CAR HOSTAGE if I don't remove the reviews. I would suggest in return that every single person in that shop hold their breath waiting for that day. Update: It's 7/23/2022 they told me my vehicle would be ready to be picked up again, the 7th finish date and they are still playing the game of control so I'm at Barnstable police station filing the car stolen. Taylor will also tell you it's a liability to let you walk in the shop to see your car meanwhile they have their three daughters all under the age of 10 running around their filthy shop like a playground. Last time I was their they had their kids selling juice out front, the only liability is Taylor and Damion. Enjoy the criminal charges. UPDATE: 7/25/22- My car is back in my possession. FINALLY. 7 months of hell. They stole all the gas out of my car, a half hour before the accident I had just filled it up to the point where gas was spilling out cause I wasn't paying attention. They intentionally drained my battery not allowing me to just drive away. They also did this to another customer when he picked up his vehicle. I had the work checked over today at Cormiers Auto Mechanics and everything major - control arm wasn't tightened, vacuum pressure pump completely unplugged, they had to tightened all R/F hub bearing bolts, front tire was missing a bolt, tightened the lower control arm and clearance backing plate. The mechanic said everything was "finger tight." They used no power machines to make sure things were secure and safe. I'm just going to say this, I wholeheartedly think they tried to sabotage my vehicle hoping to cause me harm maybe even worse. No mechanic "finger tights" anything let alone a control arm or hub bolts knowing that's safe for the car and driver. Cape Quality Collision is a bunch of fraudulent, pathological lying hacks. They deserve to be shut down. This shop is in litigation with the Town of Barnstable.
