Jennifer was great with coordinating with insurance to make sure that we received new quality original parts on our low mileage and garaged vehicle, rather than settling for older salvaged parts that were unacceptable for the condition of our car. So we needed to have the car repaired. Luckily mom's car didn't sustain much damage because of where she was in the line of cars. Mom originally took the car in for the estimate herself. Now, it's hard to impress a cranky old lady. But they managed to do so here. She took it to two body shops, within a block of each other. She told me she felt welcomed here. They were thorough and honest in their estimate. They were super respectful to her (she can come across as a bitch without meaning to quite often) and i was impressed by that. It's rare she does big things like this on her own due to her age and health problems, so it's pretty impressive when she comes home and says they actually helped me. So we schedule the car to go in, and I take her. It was supposed to be done on Wednesday, late in the day. Mom typically has chemo treatments on Wednesday each week, so we weren't sure if that would get in the way of picking up the car. They said it could be picked up Thursday morning if needed. They gave us a loaner car free of charge, which was very helpful. I wasn't a fan of the loaner car, but like most people, I hate change and anything different. But it was a courtesy they offered, so I really can't complain. They preformed the work, I went to pick up the car late Thursday afternoon. Mom was in the hospital at this point, so they got to deal with my brother and me instead of mom. They were perfectly fine with me keeping the loaner car an entire extra day (it was almost 5 by the time I made it in because of mom being in the hospital), and my brother paying them with a credit card over the phone. I inspected our car before I went in to sign for it. I was very interested in the paint job, if they had blended it appropriately, or if it was obvious it was redone after being in a wreck. I've seen bad paint jobs before where they don't match it, so I was watching for it. I would be the person who makes them do it over until it's right. I looked at it from every possible angle, multiple lights, etc. I couldn't find anything to tell me it was in a wreck. They did a wonderful job. I still look at it and I'm impressed. I check it periodically, thinking I'll see something I missed when I picked it up. Nope, the bumper lines up perfectly, it's paint matched, and beautiful. I can't even find the tiniest reason to complain or nit-pick their work. I subsequently took it in a few days later for a completely unrelated estimate for a paint bubble/chip. The guy I talked to and dealt with (I wish I had paid attention to his name) was great. What really stood out to me was he remembered mom and I from the previous week. He asked if he'd heard correctly that she was doing chemo treatments and how she was doing. I told him a little about her, but this wasn't even something we discussed with him previously. He simply overheard her and I discussing her Wednesday treatment and he remembered it. It's pretty rare someone remembers random stuff like that, or even cares enough to mention it and ask how she's doing. Would I go back here for more work? Absolutely! I honestly can't say enough great things about this place. They treated my mother incredibly well, which is worth 5 stars alone. They worked with us keeping the car an extra day and my brother paying over the phone because mom was in the hospital. The quality of their work is impeccable. Unfortunately, my experience was extremely frustrating and left me with a damaged vehicle and significant out-of-pocket costs. I was originally told I would have my car back around 5 PM. Instead, I didn't get the car back until around 9 PM. When I picked it up, James the owner told me that the transmission fill bolt had not been properly tightened. During first test drive. and transmission fluid leaked out, he explained and then I got car back but I was also missing the transmission dipstick And had no idea. I drove approximately 40 miles home before realizing there was a serious problem. I ultimately had to have the vehicle towed back using my own AAA coverage. When I brought the car back, the missing dipstick was initially discounted as being the cause of the problem. I was then given an explanation involving another bolt that, according to the shop, had apparently been overlooked. My concern was that if that bolt had actually been loose and allowing transmission fluid to escape, there should have been evidence of that fluid loss at the time. When I picked up the vehicle that night, there was also a liquor bottle sitting next to the computer in the work area. I cannot say whether anyone had been drinking, so I'm not going to make that accusation, but given that my vehicle was being worked on and was returned several hours later than promised, it was concerning to see. Ultimately, I was only given $150 back. I was left with a transmission that had experienced problems after the installation, additional expenses, and the responsibility of getting the vehicle back to a condition I could trust. My biggest issue is that when something went wrong with work performed on my vehicle, I expected the shop to take responsibility and make it right. I don't feel that happened here. I'm posting this review because I want other owners and anyone considering a transmission replacement or for James to work on there car to know exactly what happened in my experience. I strongly recommend documenting everything, asking questions about the work performed, and thoroughly inspecting the vehicle before leaving the shop.

I booked this appointment two days in advance for 1:30 pm wheel alignment had & dropped my car off early at 12:36 pm in case they could start sooner without expectations. From 1 pm till 2:47pm car sat in the parking lot untouched. Around 2 pm someone came over to offer coffee n' water & said thanks for your patience, we've had a tough day, but gave me no timeline. Whenn't even started yet, that I finally went to ask how much longer I was told the it alone takes about an hour, so I was looking at another hour on top of the two I'd already waited and hour from the appointment time. When I raised my concern, the front desk staff told me the appointment time isn't when service starts, it's just your drop-off time. That's not stated anywhere on their website or when booking. After more than two hours with no proactive updates I chose to leave & book with another shop. To the shop: this would've been a completely different experience if someone had simply told me up front that you were running behind & given me the choice to wait or reschedule. I would have rescheduled if that option had been offered honestly & early. Please train your team to flag delays proactively & add a note when booking that appointment times are drop-off windows. That one change would fix everything that went wrong here.
