I had David's electric out to build a quote earlier this month. David came to my home to review the planned project. I have still not received any quote back and it's been 4 weeks. I have called multiple times for an update. I spoke with David (owner) twice. I was told it was a problem with my email and he would resend. I called again this week and spoke with someone else. She told me she would look into the problem with my quote. She returned my call after and told me David "ran out of daylight" to complete my quote. Unreliable company who seems to not be interested in new work. Now a month behind in my project, but have since had another company out, quote obtained and service booked. read more

Received a quote of $800.00 for electricial work, installation of fixtures and checking wiring on outside lights, etc. David, owner, came out and I explained what I wanted done. I am a disabled senior on social security and David's Electric was in business for many years. Dalton Frederick, their employee came out and found the fixtures did not need replacing, they were set on 'test' and he adjusted them to correct setting. Certainly did not take him long and he also said the wiring was fine. He changed lights in basement from neon to LED. Again, did not take him long. Clearly stated on estimate what WAS to be done, paid $800.00 to Dalton Frederick. Emailed lady who left message for David's Electric about sending me a refund on the work quoted but never done. I received an email stating I would receive a check for $47.00???? I was charged for work and labor that was never done. Filing complaint with state attorney general. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY. They do NOT even deserve one star. read more

We have had several thousands of dollars of work done by David's Electric. Our house was a mess when we bought it, a real fixer-upper. David came out and looked over everything, and then gave us a very reasonable quote. They have done our ceiling fans, bedroom lights, electrical outlets both indoors and outdoors, hard-wired smoke and CO2 detectors, a full replacement of our electric service panel, rewired our basement, capped off exterior wires, replaced exterior light fixtures, you name it. The guys are always friendly and professional. We have never had any problems working with them and would definitely recommend them. They were quick to assess the situation with my garbage disposal plug and changed it out in a relatively short period of time. Today I had the pleasure to have two gentlemen show up to run an electrical line from my basement to a new vanity mirror in my bathroom, as well as installing a new outlet. Both gentlemen were knowledgeable and polite. I think they did a fantastic job in running the line through two floors and an attic to get the job done. When they were finished, the bathroom and carpet leading up the stairs to it was vacuumed. I am very pleased with what these two men did. read more

David's Electric was responsive to my request via the BBB for a quote to install a car charging station in my garage and they were able to schedule me quickly. The crew was friendly and efficient. The only flaw was that we had to reschedule once, but I had to call to learn that the job they were on was delaying their arrival for my job. Rescheduling is not a problem, but I would just like to be informed-- hope it was a fluke. I like this company because they delivered. One of my rental properties caught on fire (not from anything electrical). I re - did all the wiring in the home as some wires were burnt from the fire. David began a week after the call. Then I began to work on the exterior of the home. A few weeks go by and we enter the home to do interior work and no power... I call david's and they tell me that they were waiting on me to have them connect the power. Well that would have been nice to know. So I waited a week for them to come out again. Took two days of work. Then I begin work inside. Complete interior work and move a tenant in. Then I call david's electric for an issue that we were having... He tells me that we need to do a final inspection. Ugh wow... I've already moved someone in here. I thought that we were done with them!!! Thank God I didn't send my payment in yet! Final inspection occurs... they red tag the house with a few issues. David says that the items that were tagged by inspection were there but they needed to point them out to the inspector... ok if you knew that why the heck did you not come and meet the inspector the first time.
