Came for the amazing pozole and got treated to a complimentary taco that was great as well. Great service always.

    Asada Burrito minus the rice

David's Burrito Express is a must-visit for anyone craving delicious and authentic food! The flavors are the same as those in Mexico, and they have the best Al Pastor around. Don't miss out on their Taco Tuesday deals - they're only $1.99! The fresh ingredients really make a difference, and the variety on the menu caters to all tastes, whether you're a meat lover or a vegetarian. The service is friendly and efficient, making the dining experience even better. Plus, the atmosphere is casual and welcoming, perfect for a quick bite or for ordering to-go. I highly recommend trying their Al pastor! (Tacos, Burrito, Sopes, Huarache, etc.) - it's truly a game-changer! Five stars all the way!

I am so disappointed. I have gone to this place many times but I think I have hit my limit. I have been wanting to trying there steak burrito because their steak was pretty good. This was one of the worst burritos I ever had. Especially for $9.80. My steak burrito was more like a microwaved rice and lettuce burrito with a tablespoon of chopped steak. Just terrible. I don't know what is happening with this place. They advertise $1 taco Tuesday but really all the tacos are over $1. On the menu my burrito said it we $7.99 but ended up costing $9.80. They also charge an additional fee if you don't pay in cash. With the tons of competition in the Mexican restaurant sector in the area. David's is doing a bad job of making it to the top.

One of my coworkers swears by David's Burrito Express! I hadn't ever been there before but we popped in on a Tuesday and wouldn't ya know, they had a Taco Tuesday special! $1 each for many types of proteins. I had Chicken, Carne Asada, Al Pastor and Bistec all for just $4! It was so filling, I had to skip the shells after one and just stick to eating the meats. I wouldn't call them the most amazing tacos of my life but they were indeed tasty and I have no qualms at all with them! I'll definitely be back but I'll have a hard time not going on a Tuesday for that amazing special. That doorbell though...it drives me insane. :)

When we arrived, there was one other couple at a table. Other than the staff, no one else was there. We were seated and given menus right away. Our server took our drink order and we asked for an order of guacamole. He brought our drinks along with a basket of chips and salsa quickly. We ordered our meals - a two tostada dinner and a three taco dinner when he served the guacamole. The chips and salsa were good, but I like my salsa a bit spicier so asked if they had any. He brought two bottles of homemade salsa, one green and one red. The guacamole was over $10 and was small. Strangely, it had somewhat of a sweet taste to it and wasn't what we expected. Our meals came out about ten minutes later. The presentation was nice, as you will see in my pictures. The food was okay - not spectacular. We had expected better. The Carne Asada in the tacos was actually very good. The Al Pastor was just okay. On the Tostadas we had Al Pastor, too, and one was guacamole which I've already described. We skipped desert. Although we weren't thrilled with the food, the portions were large and we were both very full when we finished. The service could have been better, especially since there were only two tables filled. After the food was served, we didn't see our server again. We waited for the check and finally had to get up to find them and ask for it. It is possible that there were only two people working. We didn't see any other employees so it may be the servers were also bartending and cooking, which could explain the service we experienced. Both of those we saw were very nice and pleasant, just not as present as we expected.

They have a dinner buffet Wed and Thur for 18 bucks, includes drink. Sunday all day? for 24? I was there for Thur dinner. The dinner drink is free refills on pop. If you get horchata or another aqua fresca, u get no refills, and you can't switch to pop after. So get light ice. Horchata was decent, creamy but not the best I have had, but good. I would get it again. Most of the food they serve is beef and chicken. My favorites were (in order) Pollo a la Cream - chicken in cream, my favorite, mixed with rice, it had a great balance, add some onion from the taco place, and crema (sour cream) and it was my favorite thing by far, I added some of the other stuff below to make the flavors deeper Asado de Boda - tender meat with a rich sauce that had a ton of flavor Enchiladas Bojas - they tasted like they were mole, but i couldn't figure it out, but it was a sweet deep taste. I enjoyed it for the depth of flavor Barbacoa was flavorful and tender Sleeper, the hotdogs are deep fried, all beef i think. Eat it with some other stuff, it's great, by itself, it's salty. mini Cheesecakes were decent. So was the rice pudding. Churros were not fresh enough so they were kinda tough, they are chocolate filled and you can use chocolate, strawberry or caramel sauce on it.

We were seated right away. I love the vibe because they had a karaoke night that night. It was just hard having conversations with people and the waiter because it was just so loud but happened to manage. I ended up ordering the combination #1-which consisted of a taco, tostada and quesadillas. I got it all in steak and it was pretty good. It also order a horchata which was also very delicious. My favorite was the complimentary chips and salsa. I love the green salsa. It had a kick but so delicious. The only thing is our service. Our waiter came and kinda rushed us to order and once we got our food, he barely came to check on us so by the time we needed the check, we literally had to flag him down. But overall everything was good.

I got the Mago-Rita which had a simple lime flavor but was very refreshing. My husband got the Red Sangria which was prebatched but presented nicely and tasted good. The drinks do come with a lot of ice so it was easy to drink them quickly. For food, we shared the Beef Empanadas and Platanos Maduras. Both were simple in flavor but hit the spot.
