I don't often write reviews, but I wanted to share my experience in case anyone else feels the same. I'm from out of town and just got engaged, so I wasn't familiar with the dress shopping process or what to expect before coming in. Looking back, I wish I had been a bit more prepared, but since this was my very first appointment, I honestly didn't know much about styles or dress lines. When I arrived, I was hoping to explore and learn more about my options. Unfortunately, the questions I was asked felt overwhelming because I simply didn't have the answers--they expected me to know about specific dress styles and have dream boards ready, which was confusing for a first-timer. On top of that, the experience felt disorganized. There wasn't anyone ready to assist me with fittings, and the staff didn't seem fully prepared. The most uncomfortable moment was when I was asked to take off my sweater near the front door for measurements. When I asked if I could be taken somewhere more private, like the back, it became clear that customer service wasn't a priority. Given all this, I felt unwelcome and decided to leave, though I appreciated the time they spent with me. I never write reviews but had to share my experience with future brides coming here. I came in a few months ago with an appointment scheduled. I showed up a few minutes early, had to wait around for a bit to be assisted - that was no problem, I was happy to wait. I got checked in and then was escorted to the back by the shoes, and was told someone would be with me shortly. I felt like a lost puppy back there, feeling awkward just waiting for a consultant. Finally after 10 minutes, I was assisted. The first consultant I had was VERY amazing (I wish I could remember her name!) and the only reason I gave 2 stars instead of one. It was my first time wedding dress shopping and I went alone because I wanted to narrow down what I liked without any outside opinion. The first consultant was so kind and supportive and gave me a bunch of options to try. As I was in the dressing room trying on my last dress, I opened the door to a new consultant. I thought that seemed odd as I had one more dress to try on, but everything there seemed rushed and disorganized. The new consultant was extremely rude. She kept emphasizing the fact that I was there alone, which made me uncomfortable. She then asked when my wedding date was, I told her June. She proceeded to stare at me as if I told her my wedding was tomorrow. Overall, I couldn't WAIT to strip out of my last dress as I felt humiliated! The kicker was, as I was on my way out the door, I casually browsed the racks of dresses to see if there was anything else I liked. I had some other lady come up to me and rudely told me "I couldn't look at those dresses, I could only browse the ones at the front of the store". There was no sign, no indication that I couldn't just look around at the dresses, I was in no one's way. Immediately, I left on the spot. As a first time experience, this shook up me a bit. Luckily I had an incredible experience at a local bridal boutique which was a stark contrast over how I was herded here like a sheep. I would not recommend this location at all. read more

Went to David's Bridal in Henrietta for an apt on 12/17 for wedding dress shopping. We were the first appointment of the day and unfortunately the experience was extremely disappointing from start to finish. When I made the appointment about two weeks in advance, David's Bridal required me to create an account and "favorite" dresses ahead of time so they could be pulled in advance. I spent about three hours on their website, selecting dresses to ensure a smooth appointment, and I also called the shop a few days in advance to make sure that they could see the dresses I selected (as I have never done this before and wanted to ensure I had completed all required tasks before the appointment). However, when we arrived, not a single dress had been pulled. The staff informed me that they couldn't see any of the dresses I pre-selected- even though I was able to pull up my account and show them the options. The stylist told me it was "no big deal" and she could just pull some options in the moment. The stylist then directed me and my party over to the dressing room area. When we transitioned to this area, there were no chairs set up so we had to set up the space for ourselves (not a huge deal, although we did inform them of our party size in advance). As we were setting up chairs, the stylist began pulling dresses for me, and told me to browse shoes/veils while we waited. When booking this appointment, I was told very strictly that we only get an hour inside of the shop, so spending the time waiting for dresses to be pulled while we pointlessly browsed veils/shoes was quite frustrating. Once the dresses were finally pulled, the stylist came back into the room with me. She had about five or six options, and out of all of the dresses pulled only a couple of them had elements that I was looking for. In addition, I informed the stylist that I believe I was a size 8 (although I was unsure); however, all of the dresses she pulled were a size 6 or smaller, so I did not fit in any of them, and could not clearly envision what I would look like in the dresses. After trying on a few dresses the stylist began asking me to get specific about what I did not like, poking fun that I was "not giving her anything to go on" and "needing to speak up." So, I started to outline things about each dress that I did like/did not like. After just asking me for an opinion, the stylist, then joked that I was "very picky" and "although this is a very tall order" she will see what she can do. This resulted in a secondary stylist joining for additional support. The two women then began working together to pull a new group of dresses. The new dresses were extremely similar to the old style that I had already voiced I did not like. It felt like they either weren't listening to my preferences, or they weren't able to curate dresses that aligned with my vision. In addition, they were still pulling dress dresses too small for me- and trying to squeeze me in each dress. After I had already voiced that I am not that size and it was extremely uncomfortable. After repeated failed attempts, my friends and family began to get so frustrated on my behalf that they began looking through the racks themselves. Overall, the appointment felt very unorganized, unhelpful, and especially disappointing for what should've been a very special experience. Thankfully, the day was redeemed when we went to Jovals on Monroe where she found the perfect dress and had a completely different, much more positive experience. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this David's Bridal location based on our visit. read more

So, I came here with a friend this past weekend to help her find her wedding dress. I just went through this process myself, but I went to Two Hearts Bridal and had a completely different experience than she did here, and I felt so bad. I don't know why they even have you make reservations because it was absolutely packed and there was no room to breathe. She had a small group of people to support her but there was nowhere for us to stand or even be near her. I cannot believe there isnt a seating or waiting area for any guests to be while they try on. The brides get absolutely no privacy as they have to walk out into the middle of a busy store and model off every dress to strangers, and they're lucky to even find space in the mirror to get a glimpse of their dress. Children were crying the entire time and a lot of men were also in the store, which I thought was weird. The staff she worked with were pleasant, so it's not all bad, but after the treatment and experience I had at my fitting, I just felt so bad for her that she came here. I will say that there seemed be a be a big enough selection of dresses and even a lot of nice ones in the clearance racks, and she did find a dress she loved. But seriously, it was such a nightmare shopping experience for everyone involved. I would not recommend coming here. read more

My niece us getting married. Today we (me, my 2 sisters, and another niece) all went to help her pick out her wedding gown. I was surprised at first when my niece told the advisor what she was looking for and she pointed us in the direction where she thought those type if dresses would be. Don't they normally help you look for dresses and make suggestions along the way? Thankfully after that, the visit improved. We all started looking through dresses and found 5 or 6 we thought she'd like. Then the fun began. After the 1st dress she stated 'oh this is the one' but she tried on the rest just tomake sure. 3rd dress it was!. After deciding they bring you over to a bigger rounded area for you to admire the dress, ring a bell, and say 'yes to the dress'. Naturally tears all around. After that she looked at plain veils (she's adding to it herself), shoes, and a few other items. Even know she wasn't going to buy one of their more costly veils they were helpful. Overall they ended up being very helpful and on top of that VERY reasonable prices. I'm sure you can spend more but wasn't necessary here. Obviously no picture of the dress here. OK is how I would describe all of my experiences at David's Bridal! From prom dress shopping in high school to bridesmaid dress shopping later in life, to this past weekend when I helped my best friend find her dress...there is a lot to love and a lot that could improve. To start, our consultant this past weekend, Madison, was a TRUE GEM! She was busy but kept tabs on us and made sure we had everything we needed. She grabbed tons of dresses, had amazing ideas on things that would look great, and was an all around rock star. Most of the staff we interacted with at our visit were fantastic, so kudos to them for working in a tough industry with a smile and lots of grace. This location does get crowded, and sizing can be pretty hit or miss in terms of what you end up trying on. Overall, I would say if you're on a very strict budget, you may be able to find something gorgeous on the clearance rack or otherwise. If you're looking for the full "say yes to the dress" custom experience, there are boutique shops in town that might be a better fit. read more

They helped me narrow down many options and spent a lot of time with me to ensure I got exactly what I envisioned. The alterations were convenient and perfectly done. I got my dress back in a timely fashion and everything went smoothly. One of the most stressful but special moments is choosing a wedding dress. We went for my future daughter-in-law to look for Mothers dresses and we were brought back to this big open area with filthy carpets, no seats, (we had to ask for a chair for my mother to sit in after she tried on her one dress, as we were told there were no other knee length dresses), and a wall of tiny dressing rooms that had no mirrors so you actually had to walk out of the dressing room to see what you even looked like in the dress, right in front of everyone else that was there, and there were a lot of people there! There were three of us and I was the first one to try on dresses, my mother and the brides' mother still had to try on their dresses, so I told our "consultant " that we needed another dressing room, at which point we were told that we ALL had to share this one tiny fitting room! We only had one hour for the appointment! I had to use the lady's room on top of it and I was shocked by the fact that I had to walk in the back of the store, down a long hallway, past the employee room, to a one room, one toilet, run down bathroom that was not fit for a bridal store in any way! There wasn't even a hook to hang my purse on, it was disgusting! We told our "consultant" what we were looking for and every time we asked, her response was "sorry we don't have that in stock", and when we asked for a certain type of dress we got the same answer. By the time our one hour for three ladies appointment was over and we were walking out, we found all of the styles that our "consultant " said that they didn't have. all of the dresses were very basic and nothing special about any of them! I actually can't believe that this place is still in business, extremely disappointing! read more

I needed a "Mother of the Bride" dress for my daughter's wedding on July 13th of this month. I came in in advance in plenty of time, was measured, and paid for the dress. When the dress came and I went in to try it on, the dress was way too big. The alterations lady asked me if I ad lost weight, the answer was "no" and she asked who had measured me, which I replied the lady at the front desk. The alterations woman said the dress was too big and couldn't be altered. It had to be returned, however the same style would not arrive in time for my daughter's wedding so I had to pay more and get a different style. I made an appointment also at that time for alterations, also requesting bra forms to be sewn in when altered. They said that was fine however, they were running low so I should buy them and they would only charge me $10.00 since I purchased them. I ran down the street and bought the last pair. When the dress came in, was sized, paid for the alterations and would be able to pick up the dress 2 days before leaving for the wedding. I might add, that they did not charge me $10.00 for sewing in the bra forms, but $25.00 and the alterations lady said that was the going price. When I picked up the dress, it was never altered in the shoulders, the dress hung too low and the top was not fitted properly. By this time I had to take the dress because I was leaving for the wedding in two days and there was no more time to have it altered. I spent the whole wedding pulling up the dress and was embarrassed to wear it. Many people who attended the wedding from Rochester asked where I had purchased it so they wouldn't go there. Paid for alterations they didn't even do! As they say a picture is worth a thousand words. I have discouraged several people from buying from this company and three have pulled their orders from them. Right after the wedding I took off the dress, put on something that fit and threw the dress away. Make sure the company you purchase a dress from for special occasions knows what they are doing! read more

The staff at David's bridal is absolutely amazing. I had to go in there to order & re-order a dress and both times they were absolutely amazing. (the re-order was on my part). I had to go in with another bridesmaid for the wedding to get a dress about 5 weeks before the nuptials. It was stressful but the consultant helped us pull what we needed and the bridesmaid found a dress that she looked great in, but also looked amazing on her! They definitely use traditional sales pressuring techniques, but realistically if you are there to buy a dress (especially bridesmaid), you have to buy it there no matter what. Better to get it sooner rather than later. I really had a great experience here and am grateful they were so easy to work with! i went to the location in need of a prom dress.I can honestly say I said yes to the dress. Everyone was extremely welcoming and helpful.

This was not a "Say Yes To The Dress" moment, but the bride found a gorgeous dress! Tara knows what she wants and landed on a beautiful gown from the designer collection: Oleg Cassini. I suppose the saying is true. When you know, you know! It was clear she found the one. Before the appointment Tara picked out a handful online as "favorites." Beyond strapless, she wasn't sure exactly what she wanted so she picked out some tulle-rific gowns. The difficult thing was that Tara looks good in everything, but there were a few dresses that just weren't her style. The first 4-5 weren't winners so us bridesmaids went to sift through the selection. I got an arm workout. Those dresses are heavy! Anyway, it's tough to see what looked good in the plastic bags. I also don't know if we were breaking any rules. They didn't tell us otherwise, but they also didn't look pleased at our searching through the gowns. Regardless, we found a few sparkly numbers. The attendant was also doing her thing and picked out a dress that wasn't on the list or strapless. She knew what she was doing and it ended up being the winner. The fit was great, it was the designer Tara liked, and had just enough sparkle so she looked like a princess. Here's the short and sweet lowdown: It's not a boutique so special treatment is limited. - No one in our party really knew what was happening or how it was all going down. - Our consultant was working two appointments at the same time. - We had to share one catalog to find dress options... IDK if this was just a one off weird thing or if that's actually a "rule." We were trying to be efficient. The pluses: - Lauren was wonderful to work with and was sweet. - We made friends with the family next to us and helped each other confirm the brides dresses were winners. - Great for brides on a budget, but there's also a designer selection to pick from. The Cassini dresses were the only ones I saw on display so if you wanted to rock Vera Wang's White collection you may have to order (?). read more

It's unfortunate that others posting reviews for this place didn't feel they got acceptable customer service. The consultant that worked with me was very patient and was constantly going back to find more items for me to try, and even got multiple belts for me to try with some of the plainer dresses without ever making me feel like I was asking for too much. She was very sweet and tried very hard to find something for me. While I wasn't able to find something I really liked, her effort, enthusiasm and respectfulness gets 4 stars. Minus one star for there not being a dress I wanted. I went elsewhere today and was treated horribly, so I really do appreciate my experience at David's Bridal. read more

From the moment I first called this morning I felt that I was annoying and inconveniencing the associate. Before I drove an hour to the store I wanted to be sure that relatively the same size dresses needed were available in the styles we were planning on trying. We arrived a half hour early because we didn't want to be late with our appt. at rush hour. We were "greeted" (I guess) buy a rude lady who told us to grab the dresses we wanted to try off the rack in our sizes while we waited. We picked our styles out (with no help even though I had the style numbers written down) and patiently waited. When we were called to try the dresses on the associate made us feel so uncomfortable. I expected it to be a light, fun experience but we couldn't wait to get out of there. Every simple question we asked was answered with obvious annoyance in the lady's voice. We tried on everything on by ourselves, found different sizes we needed, and our associate was not around until the very end. We were left to tie, pin, and whatever else by ourselves. She never once made us feel welcome or came to check on us. The check out process was surprisingly even worse. I would never return to a David's bridal store after how poorly we were treated. If the wedding we are in wasn't so short notice we would have gone else where. I replied to the automated "how was your experience email" and told them of my experience. I was asked last minute to be a part of a wedding 4 days before it happened, because a bridesmaid decided to bow out on her own. Diana who works at this store was amazing when I called, because I live in New Jersey and this store was the only one who carried the 6 way interchangeable mesh dress in Iris in my size. Tuesday night at 8 pm we called to buy the dress over the phone, it was shipped and received by 7:30 am on Thursday morning. I have never seen such fast response to a dire need. I had a very positive experience recently! I was in and out in about an hour and found a bridesmaid dress within my budget (~$115). Staff was very helpful from when I walked in, and they found the dresses I picked out online, so I didn't have to search for them myself. Because I came alone, I valued Michelle Vaccaro's assistance and opinions, she was so nice and helpful. I'm very happy with the service here and the price I paid. I am the mother of the bride and just came to browse. They were so incredibly attentive. Lauren was so patient while I tried on at LEAST 25 dresses and she did it with a smile. Lauren was very nice and pleasant. All of the employees were. Joanne was very helpful also. They even looked for my size at different locations and/or order on line. Terrible. I came in to fimd a wedding dress and had a horrible experience. First off this place is unbelievably crowded. Then the lady snapped at my mom and I for bringing in water, which didn't even make sense because half the dresses I tried on had stains on them. I was given a four by four area to model off the dresses. No privacy what-so-ever. The lady I was assigned to was super nice but she only worked for the company one day a week. Every dress I tried on she kept trying to sell to me even though I didn't want it. I even said no to some and she brought them to the dressing room anyways and told me to try them on. I explained my vision to her and she kept bringing me dresses that were nothing like that. Just don't come here. read more

I do understand that this is Covid but this is supposed to be an exciting time for her and she left upset. Poor selection of styles when it comes to bridesmaid dresses. All require strapless and low back bras and staff was completely clueless as to where to buy such a bra. They kept pushing their alteration service to have cups sewn in. I requested sleeves added for increased modesty, and was told they had no way to order fabric. Total fail. There is a reason this location has such a low average review, and it seems my experience was very similar to the multiple other reviewers here. My girlfriend and I stopped by yesterday to take a look at dresses as I needed one for my brother's wedding. They seemed kind of miffed that we did not make an appointment (there was nothing anywhere saying that an appointment was needed, and we really just planned to look on our own anyway and did not need more than the usual level of help) but let us in anyway. We had to "sign in" which seems odd for someone who is just looking around. Once I signed in they distractedly pointed us in the direction of bridesmaid/other dresses and we were completely on our own after that. Fine by me, as if my options are "vaguely snotty and rude" or "being left completely unassisted" I would much prefer being left alone. I really got the vibe that because we were clearly not there to drop a ton of money we were not very welcome. We picked out 4 potential dresses and helped ourselves to a room to try them on. After some of the usual trial and error we found one that matched my needs and price point. It was a bit too long so we went up and waited to ask what taking the hem up an inch or two would cost. The woman who did alterations seemed a bit more personable the the women running the counter. She said it would cost $60 to $70 to hem... eek! I realize alterations are not free but spending $70 to hem a $100 dress by two inches seems extreme. Luckily for me my mom is a Master fiber artist and alterations are usually no issue. I wanted to chat with her about it so we decided to come back the next day to purchase it. As we left we were again completely ignored. Sorry to inconvenience you, staff people? We returned the next day, having gotten the okay from my mom that she could easily alter the dress. On entering we were immediately asked, again, if we had an appointment. No, we were here yesterday and already know what dress we want. But did we have someone yesterday who did a fitting with us? No, we were left on our own but found a dress, we just need to get it. But is my brother registered at David's Bridal? No, he is not. But what is the bride's last name just in case? Seriously though he is not registered here. I just want to grab the dress of the rack. We finally were let in, picked out the dress, and went to check out. After waiting for a bit the cashier came to help us but was half ignoring us through the whole transaction. Again, we got a VERY strong vibe that they were absolutely not interested in us, not interested in making a positive sale, and not interested in being there. The best part of the experience was probably finishing paying so that we could leave and go shopping elsewhere. Pros - They do have a decent selection and a range of prices. I don't have a ton to spend so finding a $99 dress was nice. There are lots of colors and styles. This is what got them two stars from me. Cons - Saying customer service was lacking was an understatement. The customer service at Spirit Halloween next door was better and half of their "staff" is animatronic zombies. Most of the employees seem to have an attitude issue... was it because we didn't dress the part? Did we look too poor? Is it because we didn't make appointments? Do they all secretly hate weddings or have been assaulted by one too many Bridezillas? Hard to say. I would not recommend this location unless you really have to use it. My first one star review, so you know I don't just go passing them out. My dear friend is getting married in just two months. This trip was to figure out what styles, fabrics, and cuts she liked. She did not plan to make a purchase here, but instead go online to find her gown. We knew it would not be a high-class experience, but I honestly did not expect anything this bad. Our first interaction with our saleswoman was her asking when my friend is getting married. "Two months," she responded. We know it's soon, but we don't need you to give us the "Wow that's not enough time you are making a bad decision" look. Pursed lips and looking down at the floor. Alright, let's get on with this. She first took us to the bridesmaid section, despite my friend saying we would purchase them elsewhere. She showed us colors and styles. My friend repeated that we were not interested. The woman looked annoyed and said she always starts her tours this way. No customization, really? She then showed us the bridal gowns and we had fun picking out two dresses each, one we thought she would love and another we thought she would hate (just for kicks). During the fitting process our attendant was frazzled. Sighing, dragging dresses along the floor (in bags, but still), and overall not offering a cheery and special experience. We accomplished what we needed to but afterward the bride told me that the attendant was also making snarky remarks in the fitting room, sighing more (despite her saying it was an easy day), and giving disapproving looks. She called and complained to the manager the next day. read more

Dear sweet customer service lady named Lori, When I come in to pick up the bridesmaid dress I ordered and the zipper is very clearly broken, it's not a good idea to ask me if I plan on losing weight so the zipper will work. Especially when your seamstresses also clearly stated that it wasn't an issue with the size, but rather, a really cheaply made zipper! Maybe, Lori, you should take a look at yourself before you make snide remarks such as that. It's not like you're getting any younger, Lori! Bridal Belle is down the street and they were great. I found a new dress for half the price and it's way better quality. Also, their customer service skills are on point. They know better than to insult people trying to hand them money. read more

David's Bridal is a good place to go if you are just trying to get an idea of what kind of dress you want as a bride or a bridesmaid. They have a large selection with ranging prices. The store is pretty well organized, and it is large, so you could try on an array of sizes (that run small). In terms of treatment, David's is lacking. The sales associates are overworked, juggling multiple groups of people at a time. We called and made an appointment with 5 bridesmaids. The day we arrive the store was chock full of people, and they gave us a room the size of a teeny powder room that barely fit two people in there. You had to be careful with opening the door because so many people were standing around from other appointments, and there were racks with reject dresses on them everywhere. Our associate was nice, but you could tell that the whole process was disorganized, and it wasn't her fault. When we came to look for dresses for the bride, our sales associate was not pleasant. She obviously was not happy to be there. She was rushing us along, and only having an hour to try dresses on is clearly not enough time. You can't bring champagne here like they do in the movies, and you will feel like you've been bossed around and shoved here and there after you walk out. Skip it. read more

I was shocked to find a dress at David's Bridal for me...but I'll be the first to admit, I'm a wedding gown snob. I used to work at a bridal shop in California, and our gowns were wonderful and semi-expensive. I felt that the cost was worth it in regards to those dresses because the fabric quality was there. A lot of David's fabric isn't ideal for me (again, but I'm a snob about it, haha), but the dress I picked is perfect. It's organza is lovely and as good as the dresses I used to sell daily. I loved my consultant Kathy. She was very personable, invested herself in my story and search, helped me build a look I was happy with. You see, I may be a snob, but I'm also a realist. I have a tight budget and I know there are more than just "the one" dress out there...there could be hundreds. So this gown fit my price, style, comfort requirement, overall look. But Kathy made the experience. If I had to rate her, I'd give her a 5. :) Check it out! Expect it to be busy people, it's a bridal shop. ESPECIALLY on the weekends. And I always hated that comment, "It's way too busy here." Um, you're here too...you're apart of the problem! ;) Just shoot for an early appointment, come well rested, and just understand that everyone else is there trying to find their dream gown as well. read more

If you go during the evening make sure you have an appointment. There were probably hundreds of people crammed into this building. With how busy everything was here I was expecting not to find my dress and be rushed through my hour and a half appointment. This was not the case, the bridal specialist got inside my brain to find the best dress for me. She was so helpful and I found the dress of my dreams for not such a bad price either. They have lots of options for payment. They have 6 months interest free credit card or a layaway thing where you pay off your dress within 90 days. I went into the store and had a 6:30 appointment, the woman who I had an appointment with was late, she was helping two other people so told me to pick out some dresses on my own, guessed I was a size 6(I'm a 4) so none of the dresses fit. She clipped them all instead of getting them all in a size four so none of them felt right obviously because they were too big. Even though I felt rushed and unimportant I found two gorgeous dresses I loved. I didn't get either one though simply because the woman was snarky and rude to my stepmother and sisters and practically laughed when I asked if there was a sale expected on the Vera wang dress I probably would have bought full price anyway. She ruined my first dress experience. Terrible, I'll find a dress somewhere else...even if I pay more for it. No stars for service...two for the selection read more

I had read the previous reviews of David's Bridal and was a little wary about going in, but figured it would be a good jumping off point for my wedding dress shopping. This is not a fancy bridal salon but they have a wide variety of dresses, in a range of sizes and prices. I went on a Friday afternoon with two people (my mom and grandma) and we were greater pleasantly at the door. They had already printed out a sheet with some of my favorite dresses on it (that I had selected from their website/app) and the woman checking us in asked me a few additional questions while waiting for Nora, my consultant, to come over. Nora came over and showed us to a fitting room, and adjusted the chairs for my grandma and mom to be able to see everything perfectly. We talked about the type of dress I am looking for and she went and pulled a few different ones. She was super helpful and listened to all of my feedback about each dress, which helped me find the perfect one! She also had some excellent suggestions about a belt and veil to wear with the dress. They both fit my personal style and go so well with the dress. Nora was incredible - she offered great suggestions, she was very attentive, and was low pressure. I would up sleeping on it, because it is such a big decision, but went back today to order the dress, veil, and belt. My mom also wound up trying a mother of the bride dress that we had seen another woman try on. As soon as we mentioned our interest in the dress, Nora got it in my mom's size and helped her try it on so we could see. Weekends are a madhouse, but if you've got stamina to sort through the bahzillion dresses and fellow anxious brides, you could find a gem... Don't be fooled by David's reputation of having low prices. You can actually find better quality and attention to detail at smaller shops. (It's only ideal if you need something quick.) read more

This place is ridiculous. I regret buying my dress and my bridesmaid dresses there because the consultants just weren't very helpful. My Jr. Bridesmaid needed a sash.... 8 weeks to order!?!?!? Also, online Davids Bridal isn't connected to the stores, so there are no returns or orders online that you can get shipped to the store. I cannot believe how expensive everything is. The dresses will be the only thing me and my wedding party will buy from there. When looking at veils, I saw the prices were between 150-200... are they insane? Also the little clips for your hair... $50-$100.... even crazier. I went to Michael's and bought a veil. They also sell little flowers that I bought and glued onto a hair clip. I now have a veil and a beautiful hair clip for $20. Don't buy the bra's there either... go to a department store and pay $50 less. read more

My time there wasn't horrible by any means but it was extremely over priced and most of the bridesmaid dresses I tried on (4 months before the wedding) couldn't even be ordered in time. Alterations for adjusting the straps on my dress was $40! Which is insane just for straps. When I picked my dress up it half of the clasp was missing at the top of the zipper but I didn't even bother saying anything because it would have resulted in having to take another trip out there and to be honest probably would have cost me more money. read more

Today was the day! Picking out wedding dresses for my best friend!! She was so beyond excited for this day!! .....Well, what we ended up getting was a very annoyed bride to be. Not to mention a pretty pissed off mother in law. Upon arrival we were greeted by the most amazing, happiest, bright smiled man I have ever met. Sadly I did not get his name, he wasn't wearing a name tag. Once we checked in, our party got seated by the changing rooms. The girl that was suppose to be helping was named shiane. She didnt ask the bride many questions on what she was looking for, size wise or interest. She brought over a few that didnt really spark her interest. The girl would bring dresses not help or talk to her, nor would she talk to anyone of us sitting down. In between getting dresses when the bride was trying the few that she did recieve, shiane would just walk away. Again she wouldn't talk to the bride therefore she was bringing dresses she was not inetrested in or that did not fit. The last round of dresses the bride was trying to explain what she wanted again and her response was "looking through all those dresses they all start blending together and look the same." I just dont understand why someone gets a job that requires alot of speaking and being friendly to the customers when you clearly don't seem to care about your job the slightest bit. While she was off grabbing the last round of dresses, the very nice man from earlier was helping some one next to us. He was asking so many questions about styles, shape,size,color every thing he needed to be 100% and was totally rocking it. Dresses arrive and the first one was coming out. The nice man then started helping us out when our bride needed help with the train because our person was no where to be found yet again and to ask questions about the dress. She was no help at all. He was so helpful and friendly you could tell he loved his job and interacting with the customers. He watched and helped out with the remaing dresses she had left in the dressing room. While helping us he was still helping his original people. When the lady returned finally after 15 minutes, our group was not happy and was expressing how unhappy we were outloud. Again she paid no attention to us and started helping out a lady behind us with her prom dress. Not only did she ask her questions on size and what she was looking for but also talked with the other people she was standing with. At this point we only had 20 minutes left with our scheduled appointment. Shiane came back entered the dressing room to tell our bride that she was out of time and to fill out this paper and she walked away. Didnt say bye didn't ask any of us if we found what she was looking for absolutely nothing. If you're looking for a wonderul day out to pick out dresses I highly recommended asking for some one else if you get stuck with her. If not you're day will probably be a giant waste of time. Other than her everyone else that walked by that worked there was amazing and friendly as can be. read more

This place is not worth the hype. We took our daughter to find her ball dress. The selection of dresses was practically not existent. Then the person in charge of helping us is helping 2 others at the same time. I ask if we can hold a dress while we look at another store, she says yes. Get to the front of the store and the uptight cashier says no holds for prom dresses. Wow well everyone should be on the same page. They lost because we found better service and selection elsewhere. read more

Surprised they are still open! Was there 6 years ago for my daughters wedding bridesmaid dresses. They were rude and unprofessional then and still so. Picking out a prom dress for my granddaughter, you sign in and they tell you wait for a dressing room, you have 30 minutes and can only take 3 dresses into room. Not one employee was smiling or even pleasant!! Our "so called" person calls us and unlocks dressing room, then disappears, not one bit of help, zipping, sizing, but puts sticky note on door of how much time we have. I recommend anybody looking for formal wear, do not go to David's! read more

Disappointed that they didn't stand behind what the sales person told me when I purchased an earring and necklace set. I had explained that I wasn't getting my dress back until after the 7 day return policy. She said it would be ok. Guess she was all about the sale and not good customer service. When I got there today to return it, they wouldn't take it back. With all the stress of even trying to have the wedding, they didn't help at all. Next wedding...I will go elsewhere that works with their customers. read more

In my opinion, the store probably rates two, maybe three stars in general. It's a get in, get what you want, get out kind of place. I wasn't that impressed with their service when we went to choose bridesmaid dresses. The staff just let us do our own thing and took down our measurements at the end. They appear to do the bare minimum to satisfy thier clients. I personally wouldn't want to buy my wedding dress there as I'd certainly like more attention from the associates than what the bridal party opposite of us was getting. The reason I am giving them one star, which may be a little bias, is that their automatic appointment reminder system sent me a text saying I had an appointment two weeks before my actual scheduled appointment. I assumed I had just written the date down on my calendar wrong and drove two hours to go pick up a dress they didn't have. That was four hours round trip and I ended up in a minor accident on the way when I had absolutely no reason to be on the road. Moral of the story, if you intend to do business with these guys please please please verify all of your appointments with them and don't get burned like I did. read more

We made an appointment for 2 o'clock and I didn't get a confirmation letter. I began to worry so I called to make sure and they had lost my appointment and wanted us there at 5. Okay. Not too bad. We get there and we're offered no assistance. The women that was supposed to help me with finding my perfect prom dress looked like she'd rather be anywhere but there. Never offered to get me other sizes and rolled her eyes. We were upset and didn't want to waste time and left. On our way out, 2 of the front desk ladies didn't thank us or tell us to have a nice day. If they had, we would've told them exactly our feelings, but we were appalled. read more
