She took the time to help me pick out the dresses I was looking at online and see which looked best when it was actually on me. In addition to that, I was slightly in a time crunch with just weeks before the wedding, and she made sure I would get my dress in time and that everything would be perfect for me. Angela made me feel so good when I was debating between two dresses and helped me choose based on how I felt in each dress. She also helped me find matching shoes and accessories (and helped me put on my shoes). She was seriously the best and made my experience at David's Bridal a positively happy one, and put my nerves at ease. (Meant to write this in September, but time got away from me. Awesome Bridal Experience! We went to David's on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving as our bride was in town on a break from UCLA. She and the girls and I just showed up around 3:30 pm (without an appointment), and were met by Sandra (Store Manager) Angela and Doug. WOW! They were happy and super helpful and didn't mind at all that we were delaying their end of the day departure. Our bride tried on numerous dresses (we could have gone on for hours there is so much to chose from), and they really know how to listen and ask questions, which helped to narrow down the style she was looking for. This Team was amazing!! Our bride found "the" dress and it was a perfectly lovely experience. Even though David's is a huge chain, do not hesitate to use them. They really know what they are doing and managed to find us the perfect dress. Thank You so much!! read more

It wasn't the best experience. We are bigger people. When we arrived all the dresses kind of seemed the same. We found only a few dresses we MIGHT like. The dressing rooms were so small it could barely fit 1 person plus the person to help the bride but on a dress. We also felt hurried. When my sister tried on all the dresses there wasn't and THATS THE ONE moment. Also our helper kept trying to zip up a dress that was too small. We had to leave and go some place else. read more

Big shout out to Tracy! This woman truly nailed it. She made room for my bridesmaids at the end of my appointment, which was truly awesome since I asked fairly last minute (mobile wouldn't let me select bridal and bridesmaid :/ ). First off, Tracy had a lot of crazy to deal within my group. Everyone was excited and admittedly nosey as bells were ringing left and right, so my group took off to admire the other brides a lot. I know we were a bit rowdy, but Tracy really kept the party going whilst still keeping us on track. Also, that woman is a wizard at finding your dress size. She switched out some dresses I was trying on and almost every time, those suckers zipped up perfectly. There was a dress in a size too small, trumpet style, and I don't know how, but Tracy got that dress over my big butt. Tracy really nailed the dress styles I liked. She picked the winning dress as the very first dress I put on and really set the bar. It was a struggle to decide between the first and the last dress, but my group and I definitely know no dress could compare with that first one. She was also really great with my bridesmaids. She found the perfect dress for one of my girls that loved the front of her dress, but wasn't a fan of the back. Tracy found a stress with same front, but a much more flattering back. Wizardry, really! I loved how involved she got with deciding colors with us (Malibu or Spa) and how she helped find dresses that looked great on everyone. Overall, Tracy was absolutely amazing and I had an amazing appointment with her. I can't believe she worked her magic so my bridesmaids and I only had to go shopping once! My mother is excited to go shopping in September for her dress and requested Tracy. 10/10 this woman is awesome. read more

I needed to find a bridesmaid dress for a June wedding. The bride's only requirement was the color of the dress. I found one I liked online, but learned it would not be available in time for the wedding. Angela understood my dilemma and helped me find dresses in the correct color that would be available in time for the wedding. I was able to pick out and order a dress that the bride and I both like. She also set up an appointment for the needed alterations. As bridal boutiques are far and few between down in our neck of the woods, David's Bridal was the logical choice. Though perhaps a little smaller than David's in larger cities, the Medford location had everything I wanted. My fiancé and I (yes, my fiancé went bridal gown shopping with me) stopped in on a whim while driving up to Salem. We had no appointment and therefore did not expect much, but we were very pleasantly surprised. A nice young lady happened to be available to help me from the initial search of dresses to the fitting at the end. She and I quickly ran through the dresses on hand as I am very picky and could dismiss 90% of the dresses without ever taking them off the racks. Gladly, the lady did not take offense to my off hand "nope"s to many of the dresses she showed me. Once I had my choice picks weighing down my poor assistant, she ran them off to the back and placed them in the large dressing room. This is where the real fun began. I truly felt like the lady assisting me, and her fellow store hands, were playing dress-up Barbie with me. I have a very pronounced hour glass shape that makes me look like Jessica Rabbit. Coincidentally, I have the tail-bone length red hair to match. The way the dresses fitted on me made my figure even more exaggerated because of the corset laces that could be tightened a-la-Scarlett O'Hara. As I went back and forth to the floor length mirrors on the pedestal for showing off, I could feel all eyes in the store on me. Not a bad thing, actually it made me blush. Once "the dress" had been picked and approved of by my grinning fiancé, I was told that the seamstress was in the store and could fit me right then and there. Great! That saves me another trip back, which equals time and gas. The seamstress was called over and the pinning began. In order to fit my hips and bust, I had to get one size larger than I normally would and then several inches had to be taken in at the waist. The seamstress seemed intrigued by my measurements and mumbled to herself as she went about her business. I had requested cap sleeves be added to my "strapless" dress and she was more than accommodating - showing me several fabrics and how they could be scrunched or flat. Once it was all set, I was able to get the contraption off. It looked amazing, but was rather restricting with the beautiful but complicated corset back that ends at the crest of my posterior. When I asked there was a discount for paying the entire bill in cash, I was told there was not. This was rather disappointing since I was dropping a very substantial amount of money. Oh well, it did not make a difference in the sale one way or another. I can't wait to come back this month to see the final result. I find I now constantly imagine myself in this wonderful gown walking the gardens and trees that will be surrounding me on my wedding day in May. read more

Would give less than a 1 star if I could. My niece bought her dress from here. We went over and had them do the alterations. She needed the dress hemmed, a bra added to it and we needed a bustle added. We thought everything went well, they gave us an appointment to pick the dress up. The day before our appointment they called to let us know that the dress was not done as the hem was one that the "master seamstress" needed to do, they also gave us a guilt trip that they got there butts chewed because they didn't charge us enough for the hem. Not our fault she paid what she was quoted. Ok fine we make another appointment for a week out. We then get a phone call that the dress is still not done (at this point they have now had the dress for 6 weeks). At this point we are unable to come pick the dress up as we live out of town. So they offered to overnight it to us. The dress shows up today, without the bustle being done, even though there is a pin that was put there for the bustle spot during the alterations. Now we are being told that we never discussed the bustle. I was there for the whole appointment and the lady "Shonsea" told me to make sure I come with her to pick up the dress so that they can go over how to bustle it with me. So I am not too sure how we never discussed it! Now they expect us to pay to ship the dress back to them, pay more money to have it fixed and then pay to ship it back to us! This is unacceptable! We will never recommend anyone to use them for their alterations! read more

My daughter had been looking for a dress for months and hadn't yet found THE dress. She is from Portland and has looked in many vintage shops for something unique and timeless. When she called me, frustrated, I told her to come to Medford to visit me and we could go dress shopping together. I was thrilled when she said yes, since shopping for a wedding dress can be a beautiful bonding experience for a mother and daughter. There are three bridal shops in Medford, and we chose David's Bridal first, since it is close to where I work. We walked there with her 11-year sister, and we're greeted by a delightful young man who signed us in at a desk at the front of the store. My daughter immediately spotted THE DRESS, although she was not initially very hopeful since David's is a mainstream chain store and she wanted something original and unique. We were assigned a dress stylist who immediately made my daughter feel like a princess getting ready for a grand ball. Floating on air, my daughter chose dresses as the stylist, Lexi, pulled them from the rack, among them the dress she spotted when she first walked into the store. She then tried them on, one by one, while I cried at her spectacular beauty (moms bring tissues!) Lexi was a superb guide as my daughter struggled with her decision...the dresses were all so beautiful! Lexi was patient, funny and very intuitive...she really tuned in to what my daughter wanted in a dress. The winner was the dress my daughter originally spotted, and she is ecstatic to have found her dress, just in the nick of time (it will be ready two weeks before the wedding)! We couldn't be happier with David's Bridal, and we even found a gorgeous junior bridesmaid dress for my youngest daughter. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is because the selection of mother of the bride dresses wasn't very good...most were gaudy and cheaply made. The wedding dresses are gorgeous though, and I highly recommend this shop! read more

My refund couldn't have gone worse! I returned my dress in the within the 7 day time frame but the associates could not make their system work. I waited for more than 30 minutes while they tried and called a manager. They could not create a return receipt and asked me to leave both the dress and purchase receipt for their manager the next day. The manger confirmed the systems were malfunctioning but it had been refunded. After 2 calls received a return receipt 2 weeks later. The return still was not showing on my statement and they told me it could take up to 7 business days after they were able to process it. My cc company had no record. After 2 months of getting nowhere with David's Bridal I filed a dispute with the cc company which David's Bridal denied and requested documentation. They obviously should have had the documentation and if the cc company wasn't showing the return simply would have made the correction. The dress was purchased before 12/1/2021 and as of today February 15, 2022 is still not resolved. As much as I enjoyed the associate I worked with I would not make the mistake of making another purchase at David's Bridal knowing their systems are so faulty and corporate does nothing to review the transaction history even after being notified of the problem. read more

This place was horrible. The lady who was my consultant was nice and helped me find my dress but her boss made her help another wedding party at the same time which made my trip last a good four hours plus. They will tell you that they will fix your dress up to two sizes. You can't put a dress on hold you have to order it and if it doesn't fit like mine does your still out 600$ and whatever it costs for alterations. I'm so upset. The manager even hung up on me! I went into pick up my dress and the assistant beside the counter told me it was all my fault. So much for help from anyone when you need it. If there were negative stars and a button that says close this place forever Id stand and push it over and over again until it was closed down. Oh and check your receipt before you sign it. Even though the tags on the dress says you can return it when you sign your receipt your signing that you won't return at all and that they take no responsibility for anything wrong. Screw these people and this company. Please please please you young brides don't go here. :( I'm 23 no idea about most wedding stuff and they convinced me to spend 1,700 on their stuff feeding me lines and I did and when I had a problem with what they sold me they told me it was my fault. read more

We had a wonderful experience at this store! I came in with a huge group to look for a bridal gown, and bridesmaids dresses for two weddings. The sales people were extremely helpful, not pushy, and calm in the face of so much chaos. I've gone in multiple times since to pick up the dresses we ordered; which all came in earlier than expected, and each time the staff has been friendly and efficient. Sandra was beyond helpful when I picked up my wedding gown, even offering to let me try it on again before taking it home. Highly recommend this cheerful staff! read more

We had a wonderful alteration appointment with Francesca, she was so efficient in providing alterations for my bridesmaids. She let me try on my wedding dress and pulled another consultant (her name starts with a "D") and dressed me up with accessories and a veil to be able to show my grandmother my dress since she will be unable to see it the day of the wedding. This was my first time walking into a David's Bridal. I was amazed by the exceptional service, friendly up on the greeting as we walked into the front door. We had a very large group, all the brides maids & the mothers! Please note I wasn't the Bride, I was along for the ride as Auntie, wedding planner, & photographer! I've been in customer related business for years, even tho our bridal consultant was new, she did a fantastic job! Yes the bride to be said YES to the dress! All the prices are very reasonable. I went in without a clue as to what I wanted in a reception dress. I had always planned on using my mothers dress (which is straight out of the 90s and would need A LOT of altering to be something I am happy with) so I came to Davids expecting to find a dress to change into after the ceremony. I didnt have an appointment and I'm nearly certain they were planning on closing within the hour I arrived- but none the less they were very kind and helpful. Caitlin was amazing. I had her all over the store showing me things and asking me questions I hadnt even thought of myself. My mom and I both had a great experience. With most bridal stores there is an air of upselling- or being rushed to purchase before you can change your mind- but neither of us felt like they were out to make a buck. When I said i didnt want something or like something- we moved on. Other consultants came in every once in a while to try and make a sale with something- but Caitlin really listened to what I was saying and would often tell the others I had already mentioned I dont like bird cages and whatnot. I ended up finding an amazing wedding dress for a phenomenal deal that I couldnt pass up! I even found a reception dress that I think ill wear now as my rehearsal dress :) read more

My daughter is recently engaged, and is visiting from Wichita, KS. Since half of her bridal party lives in Medford, we made an appointment last night not only for my daughter to try on wedding gowns, but also to look for bridesmaids dresses as well as mother of the bride/groom dresses. We were originally enthusiastic, however within minutes that changed. The staff was more interested in cleaning the store in anticipation of a corporate visit the following day. We were rushed, they kept calling out the time, and even started vacuuming in an attempt to rid us. My daughter was mortified because I DID complain to an employee, then the manager, which amplified the uneasy feeling. I have owned/worked in retail for almost 40 years, and would NEVER treat a paying customer in such a way, especially with such an emotional purchase. You lost what could have been an estimated $4,000 sale. We missed out on what should have been a special experience leading up to my daughters wedding day. read more

All I can say after my experience with Davids Bridal is I am certainly glad I only have 1 daughter!!! Our experience was absolutely the worst!!!...When we first went to choose the dress,my daughter tried on a size 6. the dress was too long which was fine but barely had an inch of play in the hips..the employee talked her into ordering a size 4 so we did...and they quoted us 150.00 for a hem. A month later the dress came we went to pick it up and decided to try it on and can literally grab handfulls of dress at the hips. I hear my daughter freaking out in the dressing room..the appliques on the dress are burnt!! The employees treated her concerns like no big deal...this is her big day and is absolutely a big deal. we took the dress to a different establishment to get fixed.The professional seamstress agrees the dress is certainly mislabeled and not at all a size 4.the dress doesnt even need the 150 .00 hem they said it needed the length was solved with a simple hoop skirt but definitelyneeded taken in ALOT in the hips..I did not mind paying what I did for the dress that made my daughter cry but it did not come in the size it should have and now another 250.00 to fix it...will NEVER do business there again read more
